I have to admit, it's not a big issue, but it's starting to annoy me. What makes this extra annoying is that if I have additional elements at the same level, xsd.exe binds them as "Item1", "Item2", etc. Does anyone know if it's possible to not have xsd.exe name my choice elements as "Item", and instead be able to put in my own property names?

• How to debug EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only on release target for an iPhone app?

  I'm developing an iPhone application. I have an EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only in the release target; when I build the debug target the exception does not occur. However, when I set the NSZombieEnabled environment variable to YES, I still get the EXC_BAD_ACCESS with no further information. Is it even possible for NSZombieEnabled to work when executing the release target? I don't see why not, since gdb is running in both cases...   Hi all: I've found a similar question on SO, however, that seems not exactly what I wanna achieve: Say, this is a sample XML file: <root> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Loose Balloon</category> </item> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Bouquet Balloon</category> </item> <item> <id isInStock="true">10001</id> <category>Loose Balloon</category> </item> </root> If I wanna get a "filtered" subset of the item elements from this XML, how could I use an XPath expression to directly address that? XPathExpression expr = xpath.compile("/root/item/category/text()"); I now know this would evaluate to be the collection of all the TextContent from the categories, however, that means I have to use a collection to store the values, then iterate, then go back to grab other related info such as the item id again. Another question is : how could I refer to the parent node properly? Say, this xpath expression would get me the collection of all the id nodes, right? But what I want is the collection of item nodes: XPathExpression expr = xpath.compile("/root/item/id[@isInStock='true']"); I know I should use the "parent" axis to refer to that, but I just cannot make it right... Is there a better way of doing this sort of thing? Learning the w3cschools tutorials now... Sorry I am new to XPath in Java, and thanks a lot in advance.

  JQuery Dialog is giving me lots of pain lately. I have the following div which I want to be popped up. When the document loads, the <div #confirmation> is deleted from the markup! I had a similar issue earlier, but I cannot use that solution here. On this page I can have multiple PopUp divs. When I added the initialization in just before opening it; the form popped up. But after I close it, the div is removed; so I am not able to see the popup again.

  Hi there, I have a set of items which i am grouping using the muenchian method using keys. This is working great however when i try to do things with the first x number of items it is doing it on the x number of items in each group rather than across the whole set of results. • DDMS plugin not loading GPX files

  I am unable to load a GPX file in the DDMS eclipse plugin. When specifying a GPX file, no points are added to the emulator control list. I have tried adding KML files as well, generated in Google earth. Is there a way to get these files to work?   I think I'm missing something very obvious and its making my brain hurt. class User < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :profile class Profile < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :user belongs_to :team I have a partial that loops through the users and print some basic info, I'm using this partial in my team show page. I had originally written this to return users who's profiles were a member of a team. def show @team = Team.find_by_id(params[:id]) @profiles= Profile.find(:all, :conditions => ['team_id = ?', @team.id]) @users = User.find_by_id(@profiles.user_id) end But quickly realized @profiles was an array, and it looks messy as hell. Stuck as to what my find should look like to select all User who have a profile that is a member of a team. • How do I match complete XML objects in a string?

  I'm attempting to find complete XML objects in a string. They have been placed in the string by an XmlSerializer, but may or may not be complete. I've toyed with the idea of using a regular expression, because it seems like the kind of thing they were built for, except for the fact that I'm trying to parse XML. I'm trying to find complete objects in the form: <?xml version="1.0"?> <type> <field>value</field> ... </type> My thought was a regex to find <?xml version="1.0"?><type> and </type>, but if a field has the same name as type, it obviously won't work. There's plenty of documentation on XML parsers, but they seem to all need a complete, fully-formed document to parse. My XML objects can be in a string surrounded by pretty much anything else (including other complete objects). hw<e>reR@lot$0fr@ndm&nchrs%<?xml version="1.0"?><type><field>...</field>...</type>@ndH#r$omOre!!>nuT6erjc?y!<?xml version="1.0"?><type><field>...</field>...</type>ty!=] A regex would be able to match a string while excluding the random characters, but not find a complete XML object. I'd like some way to extract an object, parse it with a serializer, then repeat until the string contains no more valid objects.

• ASP.NET MVC - PartialView html not changing via jQuery html() call

  When I change the selection in a DropDownList, a PartialView gets updated via a GET request. When updating the PartialView via the jQuery html() function, the html returned is correct but when it displayed in the browser it is not correct. For example, certain checkboxes within the PartialView should become enabled but they remain disabled even though the html returned says they should be. When I do a view source in the browser the html never gets updated. I'm a little perplexed. Thoughts?
