  I've got the above odd error message that I don't understand "value Parsers is not a member of package scala.util.parsing.combinator". I'm trying to learn Parser combinators by writing a C parser step by step. I started at token, so I have the classes: import util.parsing.combinator.JavaTokenParsers object CeeParser extends JavaTokenParsers { def token: Parser[CeeExpr] = ident } abstract class CeeExpr case class Token(name: String) extends CeeExpr This is as simple as I could make it. The code below works fine, but if I uncomment the commented line I get the error message given above: object Play { def main(args: Array[String]) { //val parser: _root_.scala.util.parsing.combinator.Parsers.Parser[CeeExpr] CeeParser.token val x = CeeParser.token print(x) } } In case it is a problem with my setup, I'm using scala 2.7.6 via the scala-plugin for intellij. • Using twig variable to dynamically call an imported macro sub-function

  I am attempting if use a variable to call a specific macro name. I have a macros file that is being imported {% import 'form-elements.html.twig' as forms %} Now in that file there are all the form element macros: text, textarea, select, radio etc. I have an array variable that gets passed in that has an elements in it: $elements = array( array( 'type'=>'text, 'value'=>'some value', 'atts'=>null, ), array( 'type'=>'text, 'value'=>'some other value', 'atts'=>null, ), ); {{ elements }} what im trying to do is generate those elements from the macros. they work just fine when called by name: {{ forms.text(element.0.name,element.0.value,element.0.atts) }} However what i want to do is something like this: {% for element in elements %} {{ forms[element.type](element.name,element.value,element.atts) }} {% endfor %} I have tried the following all resulting in the same error: {{ forms["'"..element.type.."'"](element.name,element.value,element.atts) }} {{ forms.(element.type)(element.name,element.value,element.atts) }} {{ forms.{element.type}(element.name,element.value,element.atts) }} This unfortunately throws the following error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'LogicException' with message 'Attribute "value" does not exist for Node "Twig_Node_Expression_GetAttr".' in Twig\Environment.php on line 541 Any help or advice on a solution or a better schema to use would be very helpful.

• Can't return a String value and append it...why?

  I am writing an app and am having problems returning a simple string value, and I'm not sure why. The function I am using (within a file called APIManager.m) is: - (NSString*) returnVenueUrl { NSString *venueUrl = [devEnvironment stringByAppendingString:@"venue/id/"]; return venueUrl; } I can return this properly by doing this in another .m file: APIManager *apiManager = [APIManager apiManager]; NSLog(@"view venue URL is here: %@", [apiManager returnVenueUrl]); But when I go to append a variable cast as a String onto it, I get nothing.. venueURL = [apiManager returnVenueUrl]; venueURL = [venueURL stringByAppendingString:venueId]; NSLog(@"the Full Venue URL is: %", venueURL); If anyone has any advice on how to fix this, it would be much appreciated!

  I'm trying to change a dropdown select menu with jqquery by selecting a certain option from a dropdown menu. Example: <select name="options"> <option value='3'>Option 3</option> <option value='5'>Option 4</option> <option value='7'>Option 5</option> </select> The other dropdown: <select name="rounds"> <option value='1'>1</option> <option value='3'>3</option> <option value='5'>5</option> <option value='7'>7</option> </select> Say someone selects option 4, then the other dropdown will dynamicly change its values to say: <select class='button' name="rounds"> <option value='23'>23</option> <option value='5'>5</option> <option value='12'>12</option> </select> Each option will change the rounds menu and users can toggle between options. Anyway to do this? is there a demo online?

  This method that uses method-level generics, that parses the values from a custom POJO, JXlistOfKeyValuePairs (which is exactly that). The only thing is that both the keys and values in JXlistOfKeyValuePairs are Strings. This method wants to taken in, in addition to the JXlistOfKeyValuePairs instance, a Class<T> that defines which data type to convert the values to (assume that only Boolean, Integer and Float are possible). It then outputs a HashMap with the specified type for the values in its entries. • Having some fun - what is a good way to include a secret key functionality and fire the KeyDown event?

  To keep myself interested, I try to put little Easter Eggs in my projects (mostly to amuse myself). I've seen some websites where you can type a series of letters "aswzaswz" and you get a "secret function" - how would I achieve this in C#? I've assigned a "secret function" in the past by using modifier keys bool showFunThing = (Control.ModifierKeys & Keys.Control) == Keys.Control; but wanted to get a bit more secretive (without the modifier keys) I just wanted the form to detect a certain word typed without any input ... It tells me that the OnKeyDown method is expecting a certain signature but I've got other methods like this where I haven't specified arguments. I fear that I may have got myself confused so I am turning to SO for help ... anyone?

• WPF - How do I style a row based on a binding property value?

  Hey! So I am trying to bind a collection of objects (IList<) to a WPF datagrid. I would like to make the row background a different color if the 'artist' property is null or empty. I am checking the value stored at the property on the LoadingRow datagrid event. Currently my implementation seems to style all of the rows with an empty or null 'artist' property correctly. The problem is that is also styles the rows where the property is not null or empty in some cases. So some rows are given the red background even though the rows 'artist' property is not null. Can anyone tell me why this could be??   I have a Queue that contains a collection of objects, one of these objects is a class called GlobalMarker that has a member called GlobalIndex. What I want to be able to do is find the index of the queue where the GlobalIndex contains a given value (this will always be unique). Simply using the .contains function shown bellow returns a bool. • Do I need multiple template specializations if I want to specialize for several kinds of strings?

However I checked that if I only specialize for const char * then passing a char * variable will invoke the non-specialized version, when called like this in VC++10: char something[25]; strcpy(something, "blah"); write(something); What would be the proper way of doing this?

• modalpopupextender.Show() wont fire

  I'm pretty new to developing for the web so bare with me. I have a company page with multiple locations and emails etc at each of these addresses. The idea is to have a single modalpopup to edit each type of data (one for email, one for urls, one for addresses etc). I link the modalpopupextender to a hiddenbutton and then call an edit function from various places where I can populate some hiddenfields and textboxes in the panel before showing it. • C++ using cdb_read returns extra characters on some reads

  Hi All, I am using the following function to loop through a couple of open CDB hash tables. Sometimes the value for a given key is returned along with an additional character (specifically a CTRL-P (a DLE character/0x16/0o020)). I have checked the cdb key/value pairs with a couple of different utilities and none of them show any additional characters appended to the values. I get the character if I use cdb_read() or cdb_getdata() (the commented out code below). If I had to guess I would say I am doing something wrong with the buffer I create to get the result from the cdb functions. • How can I access the value of a checkbox without a postback?

  I have a radgrid controlling access to an application for users. There are two columns, a 'name' column and a checkbox 'access' column representing their current access permission. the checkboxes are populated from a database. I would like the to change the checkboxes to grant or deny access to the users I specify. Since there are alot of users I would like to make multiple changes and use a submit button to write the changes to the database. I do not want to postback with each checkbox change and wait for the page to "blink". My problem is that with the checkbox postback disabled, when I click submit, the value of the checkboxes are not registering the changes I make. I need a way to access the current client-side state of the checkbox or some workaround to accomplish this. Thanks in advance!

• PHP elseif statement not executed even though initial if statement is false

  I am writing a recursive function to print out the differences between 2 multildimensional php arrays. The purpose of this code is to see the difference between jpeg headers to deteremine how adobe bridge cs3 is saving rating information within the jpg file. When I am single-stepping through the code using my eclipse - zend debugger ide, it appears that even though the initial if statement is false (ie both values are arrays), the subsequent elseif statements are never executed. The infered types are the same, but the dynamic cast from r to type 'b exhibits an error. 'this runtime coercition ... runtime type tests are not allowed on some types, etc..' Am I missing something or is it a rough edge ?

• jQuery/JavaScript Date form validation

  I am using the jQuery date picker calendar in a form. Once submitted the form passes params along via the url to a third party site. Everything works fine, except for one thing. If the value inserted into the date field by the datepicker calendar is subsequently deleted, or if the default date, that is in the form on page load, is deleted and the form is submitted I get the following error: "Conversion from string "" to type 'Date' is not valid." The solution to my problem is really simple, I want to validate the text field where the date is submitted and send out a default date (current date) if the field is empty for any reason. The problem is I am terrible at Javascript and cannot figure out how to do this. Here is the form code for my date field. • Why is ssh agent forwarding not working?

  In my own computer, running MacOSX, I have this in ~/.ssh/config Host * ForwardAgent yes Host b1 ForwardAgent yes b1 is a virtual machine running Ubuntu 12.04. I ssh to it like this: ssh pupeno@b1 and I get logged in without being asked for a password because I already copied my public key. Due to forwarding, I should be able to ssh to pupeno@b1 from b1 and it should work, without asking me for a password, but it doesn't. It asks me for a password. What am I missing?   I have a CFINPUT tag in a CFFORM: <cfinput type="text" id="itemInput" name="itemInput" /> I want to set the range dynamically without posting the page. I have several AJAX calls throughout the page to dynamically load form fields on the fly: <cfselect id="this" name="this" bind="cfc:Data.getThis()" bindonload="true" /> <cfselect id="that" name="that" bind="cfc:Data.getThat({p1})" /> <cfselect id="theOther" name="theOther" bind="cfc:Data.getTheOther({p1}, {p2})" /> <cfdiv id="maxQty" bind="cfc:Data.getMaxQty({itemId})" /> <cfinput type="text" id="qty" name="qty" /> <cfdiv id="itemId" bind="cfc:Data.getItemId({this}, {that}, {theOther})" /> In the above CFFORM, I basically want to set the minValue of the range to "1" and the maxValue of the range to the value of cfc:Data.getMaxQty({itemId}). Is this possible? How can I do it?
