I have the Spring STS plugin activated within my Eclipse project. Doing this enabled many cool Spring features including specialized management of Spring bean files. However, I noticed that the project settings for Spring allows for the creation of "Config Sets" -- which look like groups of bean configuration files.
I cannot find documentation for this feature anywhere...anyone know what it does?
Does anyone know of any tool (like javadoc) to generate documentation from my @RequestMapping? I.e. to get a list of URLs with parameters and response data. It would be great if it would come as a maven plugin.
example: Person has_many Comments. Comments has named_scope :approved. And I need to serialize Person with all approved comments to JSON. So it should look like this:
person.to_json(:include => :comments)
but how can I add there that named scope? To serialize just that approved ones?
Is there any plugin to some IDE that show the number of times a line is run in the code?
Eclipse's ECLemma does not seem to have a setting to show execution times at the left-hand-side bar, like in the service WebCat.
Hi,
I've encountered some errors when I tried to install an artifact manually with Maven 2. I wanted to install a jar from a local directory with the command
mvn install:install-file -Dfile=jta-1.0.1B.jar
But Maven gave a build error which reads like:
Invalid task '.01B.jar': you must
specify a valid lifecycle phase, or a
goal in the format plugin:goal or
pluginGroupId:pluginArtifactId:pluginVersion:goal
Is there a mistake with my command?
I would like to know about JavaScipt. Is Javascipt is available only for web browsers? Because I used some JavaScript code for Firefox Plugin development and Thunderbird.
Help me to find out more about this: where can I use JavaScript other than web browsers, and how?
I used code:blocks as the C++ IDE on Windows. I switched to netbeans 6.8 (with C/C++ plugin, MinGW, MSYS) recently, because netbeas have the nice feature of "checking syntax errors when typing" (same as working on Java or PHP projects).
But the painful thing is that, it takes 2 seconds to compile a simple hello world project in netbeans. Any trick to make it as fast as code:blocks, or at least make the compiling time no more than 0.5 second?
Hello,
Suppose we have 3 apps - appMain, app1 and app2.
Applications 1 and 2 are protected, they have is_secure: true and everything works fine with sfDoctrineGuard plugin.
A behavior I want to achieve is when a user is not authenticated, current application to forward him to another one, say appMain with defined module and action.
Is that possible? Or can someone tell me where to dig about security mechanisms in symfony?
I'm using IntellIJ with Apache Wicket and IntelliJ is showing me that tags like <wicket:extend> and <wicket:container> and adding wicket:id to other html tags is not valid.
What steps do I need to take to make IntelliJ recognize the wicket tags?
I'm using IntelliJ Ultimate 9 with the wicketforge plugin.
I'm currently trying emacs coming from vim. There is only one thing I desperately miss : tabs (in a GUI sense). I know TabBarMode but it doesn't keep the division of windows (with C-x 3 for example) from tab to tab while Vim does it. Is there any plugin for emacs that handle tabs in a more vim-like way?
I have to create a web service for iPhone. So I would like to know which web response is the best for iPhone(SOAP vs REST vs XML vs JSON vs ... any other).
I dont know what it is called but you can see on this page http://carleypelletier.deviantart.com/gallery/#_browse if you click on a category you'll get a list and if there is a subcategory there will be a at the end. When clicking this the menu text moves left off the menu and the new categories are in. How do i do this type of menu? i'm open to any libs. It would be nice if i can fill it using json or a config file.
Hi,
I am having trouble getting indentation to work in Vim. I am coding in C++.
I use vim.nox on ubuntu 9.10
I have filetype plugin indent on
I also tried set cident , set autoindent, set smartindent etc.
Automatic indentation does not seem to work.
So I'm using the datepicker plugin to make an availability calendar. Here is my javascript:
http://pastebin.com/H7D9PcAg
When dpSetSelected() is called it is also calling dateSelected() which triggers the AJAX call to my PHP script. I need a way to only update the database if the date is clicked on and not pre-loaded. When I pre-load the dates they are sent to the PHP page and subsequently removed.
I can't run a debug sdk application because it requires both VC 8 and VC 9 versions of the CRT. But it only requires visual studio 2008 for plugin dev, which is what I need.
How do I install the debug runtimes from 2005 on to a Windows7 machine? I can't figure out how to make them run app local nor can I copy anything into the winSxS folder without a trusted installer.
In eclipse plugin development i could add files in toolbar, menu and popupmenu by using menu contribution.
In my project I want to add a set of files in the popupsubmenu,
eg : Like the following
Project Explorer - Right Click - New - Annotation, Class, Enum ....
I want to add my files abc,def and xyz.. under the new menu item
What is the locationuri for popupsubmenu ?
Help me on this
Thanks in advance
Regards
Mathan
When indenting java code with annotations, vim insists on indenting like this:
@Test
public void ...
I want the annotation to be in the same column as the method definition but I can't seem to find a way to tell vim to do that, except maybe using an indent expression but I'm not sure if I can use that together with regular cindent.
edit: The filetype plugin was already turned on I just got a bit confused about indenting plugins. The accepted answer may be a bit hackish but works for me as well.
I have two eclipse projects on an SVN repository that I feel should be merged into one.
The easiest way that I can think of doing this is to copy the contents of both projects into a new local project, commit it, and nuke the old ones.
Is there a better, SVN-ish way of doing things?
I'm using the Eclipse Subversive plugin, for what its worth
on my rails(2.3.5) app(currently 50-70rpm, maximum response time around 0.7s), uploading even 700k file(using paperclip plugin) locks up the server for web requests for everyone for 2 minutes! (other apps on same server work normally)
does anyone have a clue why that might be happening? i am using some mysql transactions which lock the database also if that might be an issue
i read http://www.therailsway.com/2009/4/23/uploading-files
but it couldn't be locking server for 2 minutes for a small file, could it?!
I was hoping to do this from a flash plugin, kind of how flash accesses the microphone or webcam but it doesn't seem possible.
Is this going to be possible using Java, or ActiveX, or some other strategy that I haven't looked at yet?
The idea is to do it without a client install, or at least something lightweight and browser and platform independent, (and possibly the moon on a stick as welll ;-))
I'd like to be able to have multiple "sets" of open files in netbeans but i didn't find a way or plugin to do it.
Say i have 5 file related to "bug xyz" but i want to start working on feature "abc". Instead of having 10 files open i'd like to be able to say "create new set of files" and work on those and switch back and forth.
Is there some way it netbeans to achieve this ?
I use svn to store the revisions of my specification files, written with oowrite (OpenOffice.org).
I cannot find the way to compare different revisions of my odt files. It complains their are binary.
Is there any tool or plugin to compare odt files stores in svn repository?
