  Results Delphi users who wish to use HID USB in windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB Contain a list if keys containing vender ID and Producer ID numbers that co inside with the USB web sites data base. These numbers and the GUID held within the key gives important information to execute the HID.dll that is otherwise imposable to execute. The Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device manager/USB Serial Bus Controllers/Mass Storage Devices/details simply lists the registry data. The access to the programmer has been documented through the API32.dll with a number of procedures that accesses the registry. But that is not the problem yet it looks like the problem!!!!!!!!! The key is info about the registry and how to use it. These keys are viewed in RegEdit.exe it’s self. Some parts of the registry like the USB have been given a windows security system type of protection with a Aurthz.dll to give the USB read and right protection. Even the api32.dll. Now only Microsoft give out these details and we all know Microsoft hate Delphi. Now C users have enjoyed this access for over 10 years now. Now some will make out that you should never give out such information because some idiot may make a stupid virus (true), but the argument is also do Delphi users need to be denied USB access for another ten years!!!!!!!!!!!!. What I do not have is the skill in is assembly code. I’m seeking for some one that can trace how regedit.exe gets its access through Aurthz.dll to access the USB data. So I’m asking all who reads this:- to partition any friend they have that has this skill to get the Aurthz.dll info needed. I find communicating with USB.org they reply when they have a positive email reply but do not bother should their email be a slightly negative policy. For all simple reasoning, all that USB had to do was to have a secure key as they have done, and to update the same data into a unsecured key every time the data is changed for USB developer to access. And not bother developers access to Aurthz.dll. • Animate button on MouseOver and MouseDown

  I'm making my own ControlTemplate for a standard Button in WPF. I want to change the background of my button when the user hovers over the button with the mouse, but also when the user presses the button (to yet another color). This seems like a common behavior, but I can't get it to work. My template consists of a Border with an Image inside. It is the background color (a gradient really) of the Border that I want to animate. I have triggers in my template that activates animations (storyboards). The MouseOver/Out works just fine. My problem occurs when I press the button. The Press animation runs as it should, and so does the Release animation. But after this the MouseOut will never run. The button gets stuck in the MouseOver state. • Cocoa nextEventMatchingMask not receiving NSMouseMoved event

  Hello, I created a local event loop and showed up a borderless window (derived from NSPanel), I found in the event loop there's no NSMouseMoved event received, although I can receive Mouse button down/up events. What should I do to get the NSMouseMoved events? I found making the float window as key window can receive the NSMouseMoved events, but I don't want to change key window. And it appears this is possible, because I found after clicking the test App Icon in System Dock Bar, I can receive the mousemoved events, and the key window/mainwindow are unchanged. Here's the my test code: (Create a Cocoa App project names FloatWindowTest, and put a button to link it with the onClick: IBAction).   I want to write a module (framework specific), that would wrap and extend Facebook PHP-sdk (https://github.com/facebook/php-sdk/). My problem is - how to organize classes, in a nice way. So getting into details - Facebook PHP-sdk consists of two classes: BaseFacebook - abstract class with all the stuff sdk does Facebook - extends BaseFacebook, and implements parent abstract persistance-related methods with default session usage Now I have some functionality to add: Facebook class substitution, integrated with framework session class shorthand methods, that run api calls, I use mostly (through BaseFacebook::api()), authorization methods, so i don't have to rewrite this logic every time, configuration, sucked up from framework classes, insted of passed as params caching, integrated with framework cache module I know something has gone very wrong, because I have too much inheritance that doesn't look very normal.Wrapping everything in one "complex extension" class also seems too much. I think I should have few working togheter classes - but i get into problems like: if cache class doesn't really extend and override BaseFacebook::api() method - shorthand and authentication classes won't be able to use the caching. Maybe some kind of a pattern would be right in here? How would you organize these classes and their dependencies? New instance of Facebook_Cache gives me all the functionality. Shorthand methods from Facebook_Custom use caching, because Facebook_Cache overwrited api() method. But here is what is bothering me: I think it's too much inheritance. It's all very tight coupled - like look how i had to specify 'Facebook_Custom::api' instead of 'parent:api', to avoid api() method loop on Facebook_Cache class extending. Overall mess and ugliness. So again, this works but I'm just asking about patterns / ways of doing this in a cleaner and smarter way.

• WPF: Focus in a Window and UserControl

  I'm trying to get a UserControl to tab properly and am baffled. The logical tree looks like this. |-Window -Grid -TabControl -TabItem -StackPanel -MyUserControl |-StackPanel -GroupBox -Grid -ComboBox -Textbox1 -Textbox2 Everything works fine, except when the visibility converter for the ComboBox returns Visibility.Collapsed (don't allow user to change database mode), then when textbox1 is selected, instead of being able to tab through the controls in the UserControl, the focus shifts to a button declared at the bottom of the window. Nothing else apart from the controls displayed has TabIndex or FocusManager properties set. I'm banging my head against a brick wall and I must be missing something. • Single DispatcherServlet with Multiple Controllers

  I am trying to create some restful web services using Spring MVC 3.0. I currently have an issue that only 1 of my 2 controllers will work at any given time. As it turns out, whichever class comes first when sorted alphabetically will work properly. The error I get is: handleNoSuchRequestHandlingMethod No matching handler method found for servlet request: path '/polinq.xml', method 'GET', parameters map[[empty]] I had a very simliar message earlier also, except instead of the map being empty it was something like map[v--String(array)] Regardless of the message though, currently the LocationCovgController works and the PolicyInquiryController doesn't. If I change the change of the PolicyInquiryController to APolicyInquiryController, then it will start funcitoning properly and the LocationCovgController will stop working. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The code runs and the objects return. But oddly enough, once I look at the returned objects I noticed the namespacing disappeared and the object-hierarchy being exposed through the (web applications) service reference seems to become "flat" (somehow). Now, I expect this from a web-service…but not through WFC. Of course, my understanding of what WFC can do may be wrong. ...please keep in mind I'm still experimenting with all this.   Problem: I have many-to-many association between two entities A and B. I set A entity as an owner of their relationship(inverse=true is on A's collection in b.hbm.xml). When i delete an A entity, corresponding records in join table are deleted. When i delete an B entity, corresponding records in join table are not deleted (integrity violation exception). -- Let's consider some very simple example: class A{ Set<B> bset=new HashSet<B>(); //... } class B{ Set<A> aset=new HashSet<A>(); //... } File a.hbm.xml [m-to-m mappings only]: <set name="bset" table="AB"> <key name="a_id"/> <many-to-many column="b_id" class="B"/> </set> File b.hbm.xml [m-to-m mappings only]: <set name="aset" table="AB" inverse="true"> <key name="b_id"/> <many-to-many column="a_id" class="A"/> </set> Database relations: A(id,...) • Slow queries in Rails- not sure if my indexes are being used.

  I'm doing a quite complicated find with lots of includes, which rails is splitting into a sequence of discrete queries rather than do a single big join. The queries are really slow - my dataset isn't massive, with none of the tables having more than a few thousand records. I have indexed all of the fields which are examined in the queries but i'm worried that the indexes aren't helping for some reason: i installed a plugin called "query_reviewer" which looks at the queries used to build a page, and lists problems with them. This states that indexes AREN'T being used, and it features the results of calling 'explain' on the query, which lists various problems. • Calculus? Need help solving for a time-dependent variable given some other variables.

  Long story short, I'm making a platform game. I'm not old enough to have taken Calculus yet, so I know not of derivatives or integrals, but I know of them. The desired behavior is for my character to automagically jump when there is a block to either side of him that is above the one he's standing on; for instance, stairs. This way the player can just hold left / right to climb stairs, instead of having to spam the jump key too. The issue is with the way I've implemented jumping; I've decided to go mario-style, and allow the player to hold 'jump' longer to jump higher. To do so, I have a 'jump' variable which is added to the player's Y velocity. The jump variable increases to a set value when the 'jump' key is pressed, and decreases very quickly once the 'jump' key is released, but decreases less quickly so long as you hold the 'jump' key down, thus providing continuous acceleration up as long as you hold 'jump.' This also makes for a nice, flowing jump, rather than a visually jarring, abrupt acceleration. So, in order to account for variable stair height, I want to be able to calculate exactly what value the 'jump' variable should get in order to jump exactly to the height of the stair; preferably no more, no less, though slightly more is permissible. This way the character can jump up steep or shallow flights of stairs without it looking weird or being slow.   General Problem Though I may be diagnosing the root cause of an event, determining how many users it affected, or distilling timing logs in order to assess the performance and throughput impact of a recent code change, my tools stay the same: grep, awk, sed, tr, uniq, sort, zcat, tail, head, join, and split. To glue them all together, Unix gives us pipes, and for fancier filtering we have xargs. If these fail me, there's always perl -e. These tools are perfect for processing CSV files, tab-delimited files, log files with a predictable line format, or files with comma-separated key-value pairs. In other words, files where each line has next to no context. XML Analogues I recently needed to trawl through Gigabytes of XML to build a histogram of usage by user. This was easy enough with the tools I had, but for more complicated queries the normal approaches break down. Say I have files with items like this: <foo user="me"> <baz key="zoidberg" value="squid" /> <baz key="leela" value="cyclops" /> <baz key="fry" value="rube" /> </foo> And let's say I want to produce a mapping from user to average number of <baz>s per <foo>. Processing line-by-line is no longer an option: I need to know which user's <foo> I'm currently inspecting so I know whose average to update. Any sort of Unix one liner that accomplishes this task is likely to be inscrutable. Fortunately in XML-land, we have wonderful technologies like XPath, XQuery, and XSLT to help us. Previously, I had gotten accustomed to using the wonderful XML::XPath Perl module to accomplish queries like the one above, but after finding a TextMate Plugin that could run an XPath expression against my current window, I stopped writing one-off Perl scripts to query XML. And I just found out about XMLStarlet which is installing as I type this and which I look forward to using in the future. JSON Solutions? So this leads me to my question: are there any tools like this for JSON? It's only a matter of time before some investigation task requires me to do similar queries on JSON files, and without tools like XPath and XSLT, such a task will be a lot harder. If you have to process a bunch of JSON files on a Unix command line, what tools do you use? Heck, is there even work being done to make a query language like this for JSON? If you do use tools like this in your day-to-day work, what do you like/dislike about them? Are there any gotchas? I'm noticing more and more data serialization is being done using JSON, so processing tools like this will be crucial when analyzing large data dumps in the future.   I'm using a combination of SDL and OpenGL in a sort of crash course project to teach myself how this all works. I'm really only interested in OpenGL as a way to use acceleration in 2D games so I just need this to work in a 2D plane.   I want my datagrid columns to share a cell/celledit template. I have the solution do that (thanks to WPF DataGridTemplateColumn shared template?). Now what I would love to is improving the readability by avoiding all the node nesting. Anyone know how to do that? Not sure if what I want is possible and i'm willing to accept a "no way you can do that" as an answer NOTE: The TextBlock/TextBox in the template is just for test (the real template is much more complex) DataGridTextColumn will not do the trick Thanks in advance

  I have some problems getting the hibernate second level cache to work for caching domain objects. According to the ehcache documentation it shouldn't be too complicated to add caching to my existing working application. • RSA encryption/ Decryption in a client server application

  Hi guys, probably missing something very straight forward on this, but please forgive me, I'm very naive! Have a client server application where the client identifies its self with an RSA encrypted username & password. Unfortunately I'm getting a "bad padding exception: data must start with zero" when i try to decrypt with the public key on the client side. I'm fairly sure the key is correct as I have tested encrypting with public key then decrypting with private key on the client side with no problems at all. Just seems when I transfer it over the connection it messses it up somehow?! Using PrintWriter & BufferedReader on the sockets if thats of importance. EncodeBASE64 & DecodeBASE64 encode byte[] to 64base and vice versa respectively. Any ideas guys??   Im using hibernate to connect to my DB2 database. I got java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:db2://ldild4268.mycompany.com:55000/myDB. I have db2jcc.jar, db2jcc_javax.jar, db2jcc_license_cu.jar, db2policy.jar, db2ggjava.jar and db2umplugin.jar added into my Java Build Path.
