• Excel 2007: plot data points not on an axis/ force linear x-incrementation without altering integrity of non-linear data

  In Excel, how does one go about plotting points that don't have an x component that is an x-axis label? For example, in my graph, the x-components are derived from the cosine function and aren't linear, but Excel is displaying them as if .0016 to .0062 to .0135 is an equal incrementation. How would I change this so that the x-axis has an even incrementation without altering the integrity of the points themselves? In other words, how do I plot a point with an x component independent from the x-axis label?

What I'd like to know is how I can check that the rules are set up correctly.   When adding a new bookmark with Ctrl+D in Firefox, it used to ask me where to put it in terms of bookmark directory structure. However, recently it's not even bothering to ask me and put the bookmark under the bookmark menu by default. Then I always need to open the bookmark menu and drag & drop to the right sub folder, which is quite tedious. Is there any way to make Firefox ask me where to put the bookmark everytime I add one?

When i search for anything even command I either get an empty list or a list of short cuts with the names Programs Documents Files ... They all have the default white paper icon.   Hi I am using Firefox 3.5.2 and it normally works fine but then randomly it will lose connection for a few minutes, just stalling and acting as though the page is loading. • CentOS 5: Can't access webserver via http from host OS?

  My server is installed on a guest OS on vmware. It really bugs me because I can't access it from the host OS's browser even though there is no discrepancy between /etc/hosts, /etc/sysconfig/network, httpd.conf files. Issuing ifconfig command also returns the same IP. I have also enabled netwroking in the vmware settings. And I can ping the guest OS's IP from the host. Any insights pls???

  I'm running a ms server 2012 box acting as a file server, I've set up 4 shares (IT SECURITY PUBLIC HR) to start out with each share has its corresponding group as full permissions to the folder however when I access the server \server\it it says i don't have permissions. Public has NTLM AUTH as its full read/write and i can't even get into that Clearly im doing something wrong but im very new to windows server and im not sure how to start trouble shooting.

  I have 2 pc one on Vista and one on Windows 7. After a few dozen hours http is slowing down by 3/4 times on Windows 7 even when using a localhost server. I have to reboot to have normal speed again. This has never happened with Vista. Has anybody experienced that ?

  I was trying to install another OS (ubuntu) on my laptop which already had a windows 7 installation. During the Ubuntu installation, I mistakenly clicked on the first option which was to erase the disk and install. It was only after the installation, that I realized the mistake. My question is how can I recover my original files from the windows installation even though I accidentally reformatted and installed Ubuntu?
