  • SQL Server 2008 2mb Limit for XML??

    - by Nai
I am trying to output a long XML result from SMSS. When I right click on the results and 'save results as...', I can only get a 2mb file? I have changed the settings in SMSS via Tools - Options - Query Results - SQL Server - Results to Grid, for XML data to be unlimited. Forever, it still seems to be truncating my XML results? So, how can I bypass this problem and output my XML result to a file? Thanks

  • Put `stdout` in an `NSTextView` while running the a command

    - by Koning Baard XIV
I'm creating a Cocoa Application, which will need to run the rails command. This command generates an output, and streams it to stdout. I want to show this output to the user in an NSTextView (so basicly stream the stdout to the NSTextView). I don't really care about how I should run the command, as long as I can set the working directory. Can anyone help me? Thanks

  • Are there java libraries to do a word-based diff?

    - by Mycol
I have two pieces of text. I would like to make a word-based diff between them (like whe unix utility wdiff does) but with more information in the output (I mean, the character's posizion where the added/delited word starts). I need to do this in Java, so a simple output of the differences (like wdiff) doesn't suite for me: I would like to manipulate objects representing differences.

  • Does GCC have a built-in compile time assert?

    - by VladLosev
Our existing compile-time assert implementation is based on negative array index, and it provides poor diagnostic output on GCC. C++0x's static_assert is a very nice feature, and the diagnostic output it provides is much better. I know GCC has already implemented some C++0x features. Does anyone know if static_assert is among them and if it is then since what GCC version?

  • C++ question on file formats and od

    - by user231536
I have the following simple code: ofstream output("test"); output << 'a'; When I do an octal dump of the file, I get this: 0000000 000141 0000001 I can see that 000141 (in base 8) is 8 bits wide and 0000001 is probably EOF. What is the first byte of all 0's and why is it there? I know it is null is ascii but what is its purpose?

  • Is there a way to read a c-string and then an int with a single scanf in C?

    - by Aux
Hey, I'm trying to get this function to get the following output with the listed input, the "..." is where I'm not sure what to write: void Question8(void) { char sentence[100]; int grade; scanf(….); printf("%s %d", sentence, grade); } Input: My CS Grade is 1000 Output: My CS Grade is 100 However, the kicker is that I need the scanf to read a c-string and then an int with a single scanf command, is this even possible?

  • How do I transfor é to &#233; in php?

    - by Itay Moav
I have an XML ISO-8859-1 page, in which I have to output symbols like é. If I output &eacute; it errors out. &#233; works just fine. So, what PHP function should I use to transform é to &#233; I can't move to utf-8 (as I assume some will suggest and rightfully so) This is a huge, legacy code.

  • C++: Unitialized variables garbage

    - by Hardware Problem
int myInt; cout << myInt; // Garbage like 429948, etc If I output and/or work with unitialized variables in C++, what are their assumed values? Actual values in the memory from the "last user"? e.g.: Program A is closed, it had an int with the value 1234 at 0x1234 - I run my program, myInt gets the address 0x1234, I output it like above - 1234 Is it just random garbage?

  • Fields in CakePHP could not be referred by JQuery

    - by kwokwai
Hi all, I have got a simple HTMl form with one field as follows: <input type="text" name="data['User']['user_id']" id="data['User']['user_id']" value="1"> $(document).ready(function(){ $("#data['User']['user_id']").mouseover(function(){ alert("hello"); }); }); The code couldn't work, I think it may be the name of the Input text field that caused the problem, but I don't know how to alter it because this is the naming convention in CakePHP.
