  • How can I return an object into PHP userspace from my extension?

    - by John Factorial
    I have a C++ object, Graph, which contains a property named cat of type Category. I'm exposing the Graph object to PHP in an extension I'm writing in C++. As long as the Graph's methods return primitives like boolean or long, I can use the Zend RETURN_*() macros (e.g. RETURN_TRUE(); or RETURN_LONG(123);. But how can I make Graph-getCategory(); return a Category object for the PHP code to manipulate? I'm following the tutorial over at http://devzone.zend.com/article/4486, and here's the Graph code I have so far: #include "php_getgraph.h" zend_object_handlers graph_object_handlers; struct graph_object { zend_object std; Graph *graph; }; zend_class_entry *graph_ce; #define PHP_CLASSNAME "WFGraph" ZEND_BEGIN_ARG_INFO_EX(php_graph_one_arg, 0, 0, 1) ZEND_END_ARG_INFO() ZEND_BEGIN_ARG_INFO_EX(php_graph_two_args, 0, 0, 2) ZEND_END_ARG_INFO() void graph_free_storage(void *object TSRMLS_DC) { graph_object *obj = (graph_object*)object; delete obj-graph; zend_hash_destroy(obj-std.properties); FREE_HASHTABLE(obj-std.properties); efree(obj); } zend_object_value graph_create_handler(zend_class_entry *type TSRMLS_DC) { zval *tmp; zend_object_value retval; graph_object *obj = (graph_object*)emalloc(sizeof(graph_object)); memset(obj, 0, sizeof(graph_object)); obj-std.ce = type; ALLOC_HASHTABLE(obj-std.properties); zend_hash_init(obj-std.properties, 0, NULL, ZVAL_PTR_DTOR, 0); zend_hash_copy(obj-std.properties, &type-default_properties, (copy_ctor_func_t)zval_add_ref, (void*)&tmp, sizeof(zval*)); retval.handle = zend_objects_store_put(obj, NULL, graph_free_storage, NULL TSRMLS_CC); retval.handlers = &graph_object_handlers; return retval; } PHP_METHOD(Graph, __construct) { char *perspectives; int perspectives_len; Graph *graph = NULL; zval *object = getThis(); if(zend_parse_parameters(ZEND_NUM_ARGS() TSRMLS_CC, "s", &perspectives, &perspectives_len) == FAILURE) { RETURN_NULL(); } graph = new Graph(perspectives); graph_object *obj = (graph_object*)zend_object_store_get_object(object TSRMLS_CC); obj-graph = graph; } PHP_METHOD(Graph, hasCategory) { long perspectiveId; Graph *graph; graph_object *obj = (graph_object*)zend_object_store_get_object(getThis() TSRMLS_CC); graph = obj-graph; if (graph == NULL) { RETURN_NULL(); } if(zend_parse_parameters(ZEND_NUM_ARGS() TSRMLS_CC, "l", &perspectiveId) == FAILURE) { RETURN_NULL(); } RETURN_BOOL(graph-hasCategory(perspectiveId)); } PHP_METHOD(Graph, getCategory) { // what to do here?   • pie chart (php graph lib) problem !

    - by gin
    i'm using phpgraphlib for creating charts i tried one of the example of the pie charts ex (with lil bit pf changes) which is : include('phpgraphlib.php'); include('phpgraphlib_pie.php'); $graph = new PHPGraphLibPie(400, 200); $data = array("CBS" = 0, "NBC" = 1); $graph-addData($data); $graph-setTitle('8/29/07 Top 5 TV Networks Market Share'); $graph-setLabelTextColor('50,50,50'); $graph-setLegendTextColor('50,50,50'); $graph-createGraph(); ? and whether i put $data = array("CBS" = 0, "NBC" = 1); or $data = array("CBS" = 1, "NBC" = 0); the pie chart have the same color.. shouldn't the whole pie/slice suppose to be colored with some color (i.e. blue) if ("CBS" = 0, "NBC" = 1) , while if ("CBS" = 1, "NBC" = 0) it should be colored with other color (i.e. red)/? is there any way to fix it? i would really appreciate any help ,,

  • Anyone have an XSL to convert Boost.Test XML logs to a presentable format?

    - by Stuart Lange
    I have some C++ projects running through cruisecontrol.net. As a part of the build process, we compile and run Boost.Test unit test suites. I have these configured to dump XML log files. While the format is similar to JUnit/NUnit, it's not quite the same (and lacks some information), so cruisecontrol.net is unable to pick them up. I am wondering if anyone has created (or knows of) an existing XSL transform that will convert Boost.Test results to JUnit/NUnit format, or alternatively, directly to a presentable (html) format. Thanks!

  • How can I convert Perl regular expressions to boost regular expressions?

    - by YY
    I'm not familiar with Perl and boost regular expression and I want to convert a Perl code to c++. I want to convert special regular expression in Perl into c++ using Boost regexp library. Please help me understand what I must do? Here is some regexps that a word of a sentence may match: if ($word =~ /^[\.:\,()\'\`-]/) { # hack for punctuation } if ($word =~ /^[A-Z]/) { return; } if ($word =~ /[A-Za-z0-9]+\-[A-Za-z0-9]+/) { # all hyphenated words return; } if ($word =~ /.*[0-9].*/) { # all numbers return; }

  • C++ Boost ASIO: how to read/write with a timeout?

    - by Stéphane
    From reading other Stackoverflow entries and the boost::asio documentation, I've confirmed that there is no synchronous asio read/write calls that also provide an easy-to-use timeout as a parameter to the call. I'm in the middle of converting an old-school linux socket app with select(2) calls that employs timeouts, and I need to do more-or-less the same. So what is the best way to do this in boost::asio? Looking at the asio documentation, there are many confusing examples of various things to do with timers, but I'm quite confused. I'd love to see a simple-to-read example of this: Read from a socket, but wait for a maximum of X seconds after which the function either returns with nothing, or returns with whatever it was able to read from the socket before the timeout expired.

  • Neo4j Reading data / performing shortest path calculations on stored data

    - by paddydub
    I'm using the Batch_Insert example to insert Data into the database How can i read this data back from the database. I can't find any examples of how i do this. public static void CreateData() { // create the batch inserter BatchInserter inserter = new BatchInserterImpl( "var/graphdb", BatchInserterImpl.loadProperties( "var/neo4j.props" ) ); Map<String,Object> properties = new HashMap<String,Object>(); properties.put( "name", "Mr. Andersson" ); properties.put( "age", 29 ); long node1 = inserter.createNode( properties ); properties.put( "name", "Trinity" ); properties.remove( "age" ); long node2 = inserter.createNode( properties ); inserter.createRelationship( node1, node2, DynamicRelationshipType.withName( "KNOWS" ), null ); inserter.shutdown(); } I would like to store graph data in the database, graph.makeEdge( "s", "c", "cost", (double) 7 ); graph.makeEdge( "c", "e", "cost", (double) 7 ); graph.makeEdge( "s", "a", "cost", (double) 2 ); graph.makeEdge( "a", "b", "cost", (double) 7 ); graph.makeEdge( "b", "e", "cost", (double) 2 ); Dijkstra<Double> dijkstra = getDijkstra( graph, 0.0, "s", "e" ); What is the best method to store this kind data with 10000's of edges. Then run the Dijskra algorighm to find shortest path calculations using the stored graph data.

  • What is the most efficient way to determine if a directed graph is singly connected?

    - by zebraman
    I am working on an assignment where one of the problems asks to derive an algorithm to check if a directed graph G=(V,E) is singly connected (there is at most one simple path from u to v for all distinct vertices u,v of V. Of course you can brute force check it, which is what I'm doing right now, but I want to know if there's a more efficient way. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

  • How can I get cmake to find my boost installation

    - by BD at Rivenhill
    I have installed the most recent version of boost in /usr/local (with includes in /usr/local/boost and libraries in /usr/local/lib/boost) and I am now attempting to install Wt from source, but cmake (version 2.6) can't seem to find the boost installation. It tries to give helpful suggestions about setting BOOST_DIR and Boost_LIBRARYDIR, but I haven't been able to get it to work by tweaking these variables. The most recent error message that I get is that it can't find the libraries, but it seems to indicate that it is using "/usr/local/include" for the include path, which isn't correct (and I can't seem to fix it). Does anybody have a solution for this off the top of their head, or do I need to go mucking around inside cmake to figure it out?

  • Lucene boost: I need to make it work better

    - by zvikico
    I'm using Lucene to index components with names and types. Some components are more important, thus, get a bigger boost. However, I cannot get my boost to work properly. I sill get some components appear later (get worse score), even though they have a higher boost. Note that the indexing is done on one field only and I've set the boost to that field alone. I'm using Lucene in Java. I don't think it has anything to do with the field length. I've seen components with the same name (but different type) get the wrong score.

  • need prefuse graph edges like arrows

    - by merve
    Hello, I did my homework and searched both google for a sample and a topic that is answered before on stackoverflow. But nothing has been found. My problem is ordinary edges who does not have a view like arrows. Here is what i do to hope there is forward arrows from target to destination: LabelRenderer nameLabel = new LabelRenderer("name"); nameLabel.setRoundedCorner(8, 8); DefaultRendererFactory rendererFactory = new DefaultRendererFactory(nameLabel); EdgeRenderer edgeRenderer; edgeRenderer = new EdgeRenderer(prefuse.Constants.EDGE_TYPE_LINE, prefuse.Constants.EDGE_ARROW_FORWARD); rendererFactory.setDefaultEdgeRenderer(edgeRenderer); vis.setRendererFactory(rendererFactory); Here is what i see about colour of edges, hoping these must not be transparent: int[] palette = new int[]{ColorLib.rgb(255, 180, 180), ColorLib.rgb(190, 190, 255)}; DataColorAction fill = new DataColorAction("socialnet.nodes", "gender", Constants.NOMINAL, VisualItem.FILLCOLOR, palette); ColorAction text = new ColorAction("socialnet.nodes", VisualItem.TEXTCOLOR, ColorLib.gray(0)); ColorAction edges = new ColorAction("socialnet.edges", VisualItem.STROKECOLOR, ColorLib.gray(200)); ColorAction arrow = new ColorAction("socialnet.edges", VisualItem.FILLCOLOR, ColorLib.gray(200)); ActionList colour = new ActionList(); colour.add(fill); colour.add(text); colour.add(edges); colour.add(arrow); vis.putAction("colour", colour); Thus, i wonder where am i wrong? Why my edges do not seem like arrows? Thanks for any idea. • Visual History for Chrome Maps Out Your Browser History in an Interactive Graph

    - by Jason Fitzpatrick
    Curious how your adventures on the web interweave? Visual History for Chrome maps out related web sites in your browsing history into an interactive chart–visualize your browsing over the last hours, days, or months. One of the interesting elements of Visual History is that it doesn’t simply link sites together via activated hyperlinks but by consecutive use within 20 minute increments–thus if you frequently hit up Gmail, Facebook, and Reddit first thing in the morning, they’ll all appear together in a usage cluster. Site can be organized by URL, sub-domain, or domain. Visual History is free, Chrome only. • Adding graph in excel based on the content of ADFdi Table

    - by Arun
    Often we tend to represent the data present in the table in a graphical format to give a visual impression of the data. This article would be explaining the way to achieve it using the data we have in ADFdi table of the integrated workbook. Pre-requisites: Microsoft Office 2007 JDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0 and above Assuming we are already having an ADFdi enabled workbook with a table based on an Employee table as shown in the image below. Also, add the table.download to the ribbon toolbar as menu item / as action for the startup event. From excel, we'll add a new 3D bar chart Now, we need to select the data range for the chart. We will take an example of chart based on the salary of the employees. So, the data for the X-Axis of the chart would be the Ename and the data for the Y-Axis being the salary. We can do that by right clicking on the Chart and selecting Select Data. We would select the Legend Entry Series name as the Sal header column in the table, and for the data, we select both the header row and the row below it (by holding Shift key). And, for the Category Axis, we select the Ename header row and the row below it (by holding Shift key). We can get the chart now, by running the Workbook and downloading the data into the table. This simple example can be enhanced for complex graphs by using the data from the ADFdi table to use the power of excel along with ADF Desktop Integration.
