    I'm creating an instance of a viewController, and then trying to set the text on of it's properties, a UILabel.   • Mongoose Not Creating Indexes

    I have been trying all afternoon to get my node.js application to create MongoDB indexes properly. I am using the Mongoose ODM and in my schema definition below I have the username field set to a unique index. The collection and document all get created properly, it's just the indexes that aren't working. All the documentation says that the ensureIndex command should be run at startup to create any indexes, but none are being made. I'm using MongoLab for hosting if that matters. I have also repeatedly dropped the collection.   • Adding on touch event to images inside gridview

    I have a gridview where each item has a image and a textview (an app), i added the onItemClick to the gridview in order to launch the app, i also removed the orange selection and made selector in xml so when pressed the text would change to grey and on release it would return to white. My problem is that i need the image to apply an alpha value when pressed and restore the previous alpha on release i tested a lot of ways and none did worked correctly. I came close with the updated answer from the autor of the question: How to set alpha value for drawable in a StateListDrawable?, but some how the state pressed never gets called, i don´t know if this is because i am using the onitemClick to launch the app or not. Also i since i can´t define the alpha on imageview xml i don´t know what else to do Any help will be appreciated

    I have a transaction log file in CSV format that I want use to run statistics. The log has the following fields: date: Time/date stamp salesperson: The username of the person who closed the sale promo: sum total of items in the sale that were promotions. amount: grand total of the sale I'd like to get the following statistics: salesperson: The username of the salesperson being analyzed. minAmount: The smallest grand total of this salesperson's transaction. avgAmount: The mean grand total.. maxAmount: The largest grand total.. minPromo: The smallest promo amount by the salesperson. avgPromo: The mean promo amount... I'm tempted to build a database structure, import this file, write SQL, and pull out the stats. I don't need anything more from this data than these stats. Is there an easier way? I'm hoping some bash script could make this easy.

  • Fetch a Rails ActiveRecord 'datetime' attribute as a DateTime object.

    I have an attribute in one of my models that contains a Date/Time value, and is declared using t.datetime :ended_on in my migrations. When I fetch this value using myevent.ended_on, I get a Time object. The problem is that when I try to use this attribute as an axis in a Flotilla chart, it doesn't work properly because Flotilla only recognizes dates as Date or DateTime objects. I thought about writing a virtual attribute that will convert the existing Time value to a DateTime, but I'm wary of doing this, since I've heard that Time can't handle dates later than 2040, and I don't wish to risk creating a "2040 bug" to worry about later. Is there any way I can persuade ActiveRecord to return DateTime objects for this attribute instead of Time objects?

  • mySQL Trigger works after console insert, but not after script insert.

    Hello, I have a strange wird problem with a trigger: I set up a trigger for update other tables after an insert in a table. If i make an insert from mysql console, all works fine, but if i do inserts from external python script, trigger does nothing, as you can see bellow. When i insert from console, works fine, but insert THE SAME DATA from python script, doesn't works, i try changing the Definer to 'user'@'%' and 'root'@'%' but stills doing nothing. Any idea of what van be wrong?     Hello, I am writing a program and part of it is to store the keyed entry in a database on an sql server when the enter key is hit. The database is small and simple with only three entry spots in the table. one for the tracking number, one for the date entered, and one for the time entered. The only thing the user will see is the tracking number text box and an enter button. the date and time will be auto entered when the enter key is hit. i am relatively new to databases so i cannot figure out how to send the data to the database. The database is already configured, just need to get the program and the database talking to eachother. Thanks.

  • Help, I need to debug my BrowserHelperObject (BHO) (in C++) after a internet explorer 8 crash in Rel

    Hi, here is the situation, i'm developping a Browser Helper Object (BHO) in C++ with Visual Studio 2008, and i learned that the memory wasn't managed the same way in Debug mode than in Release mode. So when i run my BHO in debug mode, internet explorer 8 works just fine and i got no erros at all, the browser stays alive forever, but as soon as i compile it in release mode, i got no errors, no message, nothing, but after 5 minutes i can see through the task manager that internet explorer instances are just eating memory and then the browser just stop responding every time. Please, I really need some hint on how to get a feedback on what could be the error. I heard that, often it was happening because of memory mismanagement. I need a software that just grab a memory dump or something when iexplorer crashes to help me find the problem. Any help is appreciated, I'll be looking for responses every single days, thank you.

The selection criteria for my table groups based on column 1(order #). There could be multiple items on each order, but the item #'s are not grouped together.     My language ID is 'id'. I used localized humanize library for my Django template tags and use the naturaltime, but the translation is partially wrong. The now translated to sekarang is right. second to detik. minute to menit, but when it comes to date, week, or months, the word is not translated to my language. It keeps printing date, week, and months.     I'm currently writing a Greasemonkey script for a page, so I can't modify the script myself. There is a form submit button on the page. When you click this button, it executes some fancy AJAX calls and such to update the page and do serverside things. What I'm trying to is basically set a "lastClick" value when the button is clicked. I want to add the code GM_setValue("lastClicked", (new Date()).getTime().toString()) to store the last time the button was clicked (for future uses of the script, it will actually do something with this date). How exactly can I accomplish this?

    I have a table with 300 million rows in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. There is a clustered index on the date column [DataDate] which means that the entire table is ordered by the date column. How do I stream out the data from this table, into my .NET application, in 10000 row chunks? Environment: Using C#. Have to be able to pause the data stream at any point, to allow the client to process the rows. Unfortunately, cannot use a select * from as this will select the entire table (its 50GB - it won't fit into memory).

Array arrayLength contains 92 strings representing the size of each file from array arraySub. Now, the first NSLog shows, as expected, the numbers 0 to 91. The NSLog-s in the loop shows the numbers 3, 8, 2, 10, 40, also as expected. But here's the odd part: the last NSLog shows these numbers: 40, 10, 0, 8, 3, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 that is 40, 10, 0, 8, 3, and so on. It was not supposed to be a zero in there, it was supposed to be a 2.. Do you have any idea at why this is happening or a way to fix it? Thank you.

  • Why doesn't my ClickOnce deployment pick up the latest changes to the application?

    I have a WinForms app which is deployed to a local network drive (as 'Online Only') via ClickOnce. This has been working fine but today I made some changes to the application and attempted to ClickOnce deploy it to a separate network location (to use as a test system) rather than the current production location. ClickOnce publishes successfully, with no errors, to the correct location but only publishes the pre-change version; i.e. none of my changes are visible: the version number is the old version number and the displayed release date is the last production release back in 2009. What do I have to do to get this to publish correctly? I've used a similar approach on other applications with no such issues.

    I have written code to upload the files of different types using php, and also i am saving their location information and date in database table. i made a query to display list of files i have uploaded...and resulting output on a html page as follows 1.uploads/clouds.png date and time 2.uploads/resume.pdf dare and time .......so on is there any different any way to display them by their file types as like an operating systems do..... or any better way.... I am curious to know it... Thanks for any help...

  • Java - Optimize finding a string in a list

    I have an ArrayList of objects where each object contains a string 'word' and a date. I need to check to see if the date has passed for a list of 500 words. The ArrayList could contain up to a million words and dates. The dates I store as integers, so the problem I have is attempting to find the word I am looking for in the ArrayList. Is there a way to make this faster? In python I have a dict and mWords['foo'] is a simple lookup without looping through the whole 1 million items in the mWords array. Is there something like this in java? for (int i = 0; i < mWords.size(); i++) { if ( word == mWords.get(i).word ) { mLastFindIndex = i; return mWords.get(i); } }

  • why doesnt' nhibernate support this "exists in list" syntax ??

    i have the following query and its failing in Nhibernate 3 LINQ witha a "Non supported" exception. Its similar to this question but this question was asked over a year ago so i am positive that the answer is out of date. My DB tables are: VacationRequest (id, personId) VacationRequestDate (id, vacationRequestId) Person (id, FirstName, LastName) My Entities are: VacationRequest (Person, IList) VacationRequestDate (VacationRequest, Date) Here is the query that is getting a "Non supported" Exception Session.Query<VacationRequestDate>() .Where(r => people .Contains(r.VacationRequest.Person, new PersonComparer())) .Fetch(r=>r.VacationRequest) .ToList(); is there a better way to write this that would be supported in Nhibernate? fyi . .the PersonComparer just compared person.Id
