    Is there a multipart POST library out there that achieve the same effect of doing a POST from a html form? for example - upload a file programmingly in Java versus upload the file using a html form. And on the server side, it just blindly expect the request from client side to be a multipart POST request and parse out the data as appropriate. Has anyone tried this? specifically, I am trying to see if I can simulate the following with Java The user creates a blob by submitting an HTML form that includes one or more file input fields. Your app sets blobstoreService.createUploadUrl() as the destination (action) of this form, passing the function a URL path of a handler in your app. When the user submits the form, the user's browser uploads the specified files directly to the Blobstore. The Blobstore rewrites the user's request and stores the uploaded file data, replacing the uploaded file data with one or more corresponding blob keys, then passes the rewritten request to the handler at the URL path you provided to blobstoreService.createUploadUrl(). This handler can do additional processing based on the blob key. Finally, the handler must return a headers-only, redirect response (301, 302, or 303), typically a browser redirect to another page indicating the status of the blob upload. Set blobstoreService.createUploadUrl as the form action, passing the application path to load when the POST of the form is completed. <body> <form action="<%= blobstoreService.createUploadUrl("/upload") %>" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="file" name="myFile"> <input type="submit" value="Submit"> </form> </body> Note that this is how the upload form would look if it were created as a JSP. The API also creates an info record for the blob and stores the record in the datastore, and passes the rewritten request to your app on the given path as a blob key.

    I am having problem debugging why n_bytes in read_from_fifo function in client.c doesn't correspond to the value written to the fifo. It should only write 25 bytes but it tries to read a lot more (1836020505 bytes (!) to be exact).     Hi, I'm new to m4 and am trying to set up a macro which allows the user to specify the location of a library at configure-time ./configure --with-mylib=/path/to/lib.so. In the m4 macro using AC_ARG_WITH, I'll check that the given file actually exists, and then store the path to said lib. MYLIB_PATH=esyscmd([dirname $withval]). This produces the error: dirname: missing operand The shell doesn't seem to know about $withval. How do I get it through to execute this command? Thanks, Andrew

  • using LoadControl with object initializer to create properties

    In the past I've used UserControls to create email templates which I can fill properties on and then use LoadControl and then RenderControl to get the html for which to use for the body text of my email. This was within asp.net webforms. I'm in the throws of building an mvc website and wanted to do something similar. I've actually considered putting this functionality in a seperate class library and am looking into how I can do this so that in my web layer I can just call EmailTemplate.SubscriptionEmail() which will then generate the html from my template with properties in relevant places (obviously there needs to be parameters for email address etc in there). I wanted to create a single Render control method for which I can pass a string to the path of the UserControl which is my template. The method above only appears to carry one parameter for propertyName and propertyValue. I considered an array of strings that I could put the varying properties into but then I thought it'd be cool to have an object intialiser so I could call the method like this: RenderUserControl("EmailTemplates/SubscribeEmail.ascs", new object() { Firstname="Lloyd", Email="[email protected]" }) Does that make sense? I was just wondering if this is at all possible in the first place and how I'd implement it? I'm not sure if it would be possible to map the properties set on 'object' to properties on the loaded user control and if it is possible where to start in doing this?     I was going to CSV based export/import for large data with app engine. My idea was just simple. First column of CSV would be key of entity. If it's not empty, that row means existing entity and should overwrite old one. Else, that row is new entity and should create new one.     So I have a FAT drive, lets say H: and a directory 'work' (full path 'H:\work'). I need to get the NUMBER of the first cluster of that directory. The number of the first cluster is 2-bytes value, that is stored in the 26th and 27th bytes of the folder enty (wich is 32 bytes). Lets say I am doing it with file, NOT a directory. This value is not really used anythere in program, it is only fcking pointless integer.

    I have a direct3d project that uses D3DXCreateTextureFromFile() to load some images. This function takes a LPCWSTR for the path to file. I want to load a series of textures that are numbered consecutively (ie. MyImage0001.jpg, MyImage0002.jpg, etc) But c++'s crazy strings confuse me. I want different controllers/actions to be invoked depending on the presence of a parameter after the '?'.     I wanted to convert an array with some css, js and html files into a zip file and save them in ownCloud (it has it's own framework but it's knowledge is not required.) What I am saving is an infinite loop of zip files, as in, a zip inside a zip so I can't even check that the code is working correctly or not. Please help.   • Executable directory where application is running from?

    I need to get the path (not the executable) where my application is running from: System.AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory() When I run the above statement with & "/images/image.jpg" on my local machine it works fine but when I install the application on another machine it says it cannot find the file and there is a lot of extra path information some. I just need the directory of where the app is running. I am coding in VB.NET with Visual Studio 2008. Thanks!

  • XCode CoreData files not found/opening

    Hello, I am using the Xcode 3.1.4 that means SDK 3.1.2 The problem is that I cannot open .xcdatamodel (Core Data) file and I don't even get the Data Model option in Design Menu bar. When ever I double click and try to open the file, XCode gives me an error saying that it cannot find the file at (my project's path).Perhaps it was moved or deleted? , but the file exists at the same path. Please help me out as I haven't upgraded my system to Snow Leopard so cant use SDK 3.2 Regards jAmi
