• Silverlight 4 Binding to ConverterParameter

  Hello everybody, I have a ValueConverter which needs to be called with a dynamic parameter, depending on a property. I can't see a way to do this ... Width="{Binding ActualWidthValue, Source={StaticResource VisibleSize}, Converter={StaticResource Fraction}}" The "Fraction" converter get's (or should get) a parameter of type System.Size, which contains a numerator and denumerator. This value (should) depend on a ItemCollection.Count. Resetting the ItemCollection should reinvoke the Converter with the new values. My first idea was to manually change the ConverterParameter in CodeBehind on the PropertyChanged event of my ItemCollection DependencyProperty. But, as I know now, Silverlight has no GetBinding() method. I heard about GetBindingExpression and tried to do. But MyGrid.GetBindingExpression(Grid.ActualHeightProperty) is always returning null, although the Binding is already established. So, what can I do to reach my target?

  I made this simple function (remove all $elem from $array): function remall($array, $elem) { for($i=0; $i < count($array); $i++) if($array[$i] == $elem) unset($array[$i]); $newarray = array_values($array); return $newarray; } But it isn't working perfectly, here are some inputs and outputs $u = array(1, 7, 2, 7, 3, 7, 4, 7, 5, 7, 6, 7); $r = remall($u, 7); Output of $r: 12345767 $n = array(7, 7, 1, 7, 3, 4, 6, 7, 2, 3, 1, -3, 10, 11, 7, 7, 7, 2, 7); $r = remall($n, 7); Output of $r: 1346231-30117727 Notice how there are still 7s in my outputs. Also, My function will only be removing numbers from an array. Let me know if you spot something, thanks.

  I have been searching around and I cannot figure out how to sumarise the data I have in my data frame (subject to some ranges). I know that it can be done when applying some combination of daaply/taaply or table but I haven't been able to get the exact result I was expecting. Basically I want to turn this: part_no val1 val2 val3 2 1 2 3 45.3 2 1 3 4 -12.3 3 1 3 4 99.3 3 1 5 2 -3.2 3 1 4 3 -55.3 Into this: part_no val3_between0_50 val3_bw50_100 val3_bw-50_0 val3_bw-100_-50 2 1 0 0 1 0 3 0 1 0 1 1 This is dummy data, I got a lot more rows, but the idea is the same. I just want to count the number of values for a participant that meet certain condition. If anyone could explain it sort of step by step, I would really appreciate it. I saw lots of different little posts around, but none do exactly this and my attempts only got me half way there. Like using table, etc. Thanks!

There's more work involved (if you have lots of unit tests) but it will be more immediately clear where the problem lies.   I have a very big table with a lot of rows, every row has stats for every user for certain days. And obviously I don't have any stats for future. So to update the stats I use UPDATE Stats SET Visits=@val WHERE ... a lot of conditions ... AND Date=@Today But what if the row doesn't exist? I'd have to use INSERT INTO Stats (...) VALUES (Visits=@val, ..., Date=@Today) How can I check if the row exists or not? Is there any way different from doing the COUNT(*)? If I fill the table with empty cells, it'd take hundreds of thousands of rows taking megabytes and storing no data.

  I need to take the following query and pull the total order counts and sum of the orders grouped by day. I'm storing everything using timestamps. I need to group by DAY but when I do for this past weekend's sales it takes my order_count and makes it 1 instead of 3. How can I pull the above values grouped by day?   I have a set of items, for example: {1,1,1,2,2,3,3,3}, and a restricting set of sets, for example {{3},{1,2},{1,2,3},{1,2,3},{1,2,3},{1,2,3},{2,3},{2,3}. I am looking for permutations of items, but the first element must be 3, and the second must be 1 or 2, etc. One such permutation that fits is: {3,1,1,1,2,2,3} Is there an algorithm to count all permutations for this problem in general? Is there a name for this type of problem? For illustration, I know how to solve this problem for certain types of "restricting sets". Set of items: {1,1,2,2,3}, Restrictions {{1,2},{1,2,3},{1,2,3},{1,2},{1,2}}. This is equal to 2!/(2-1)!/1! * 4!/2!/2!. Effectively permuting the 3 first, since it is the most restrictive and then permuting the remaining items where there is room.

  I don't understand this with Scala hasmaps: How do I create a value or update one if it does not exist? I am tryng to count the number of characters in a list of Strings.   I have a count register, which is made up of two 32-bit unsigned integers, one for the higher 32 bits of the value (most significant word), and other for the lower 32 bits of the value (least significant word). What is the best way in C to combine these two 32-bit unsigned integers and then display as a large number? In specific: leastSignificantWord = 4294967295; //2^32-1 printf("Counter: %u%u", mostSignificantWord,leastSignificantWord); This would print fine. When the number is incremented to 4294967296, I have it so the leastSignificantWord wipes to 0, and mostSignificantWord (0 initially) is now 1. The whole counter should now read 4294967296, but right now it just reads 10, because I'm just concatenating 1 from mostSignificantWord and 0 from leastSignificantWord. How should I make it display 4294967296 instead of 10?

  Hello, First of all sorry that I could not think of a more descriptive title. What I want to do is the following using only SQL: I have some lists of strings, list1, list2 and list3. I have a dataset that contains two interesting columns, A and B. Column A contains a TransactionID and column B contains an ItemID. Naturally, there can be multiple rows that share the same TransactionIDs. I need to catch those transactions that have at least one item ID that exists whithin each list (list1, list2 AND list3). I also need to count how many times does that happen for each transaction. I hope that makes enough sense, perhaps I will be able to explain it better with a clear head. Thanks in advance

But when I assign the Dim strid as String=dropdown1.DataValueField The dropdown1.DataValueField is holding the id of last name binded in the dropdown.it is not taking the id which im selecting n the dropdown.. Any suggestion..........

I have been doing this so far for each table, but with more than 70 of these it becomes cumbersome and boring to do. Is there a way to generate the following code dynamically, And swap out the hardcoded tablenames with the values from the parameterlist?   I keep getting the same number outputted for the Total Sales, Minimum Sale, Largest Sale and Average Sale. The Total Invoices is working perfectly, but I cant seem to figure out how to fix the other ones.
