  I want to convert an int to a byte[2] array using BCD. The int in question will come from DateTime representing the Year and must be converted to two bytes. Is there any pre-made function that does this or can you give me a simple way of doing this? example: int year = 2010 would output: byte[2]{0x20, 0x10};

I am not able to link what is displayed to what the inputs ans outputs are. For example in this case - seeing the snapshot, how do you determine that the inputs are 0 and 1 and the output is 01?

  I'm using Ion Auth and trying to implement the forgotten password feature which relies upon an email being sent from CI. My LAMP server is on a shared cPanel account and uses sendmail. However, I have the ability to over-ride any PHP settings with my own php.ini file in the public_html directory. As per the CodeIgniter 2 documentation for configuring email sending, I have done the following... 1) created a file called located at application/config/email.php 2) email.php contains this code: <?php if ( ! defined('BASEPATH')) exit('No direct script access allowed'); /* | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | EMAIL SENDING SETTINGS | ------------------------------------------------------------------- */ $config['protocol'] = 'sendmail'; /* End of file email.php */ /* Location: ./application/config/email.php */ 3) The in the application/config/ion_auth.php file, I set this value to TRUE $config['use_ci_email'] = TRUE; The email is successfully sent, but I get a variety of PHP Error Warnings on all pages. These appear on all pages, sometimes two or three times in a row: A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Warning Message: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are required to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. I'm still going to post this question as a learning experience for others. If nobody solves this after a reasonable amount of time, I'll post the solution.

  I am trying to create a datepicker using a different locale than English. According to the jQuery manual I need to add the line: $("#datepicker").datepicker($.datepicker.regional['fr']); to $view->jquery()->addOnLoad(). The code is output and runs without any errors, but the month and day names are still in English. Is there some simpler option or what am I overlooking.

  I created very simple Context Menu using Shell Extension in C#. It works fine under Windows XP 32 bit but under Windows 7 64 bits menu items not appearing. I tried to build Setup output to x64 but no effect. Simple Source contains ContextMenu and Setup project is under http://bit.ly/9nGd41 Looks like Wow6432 should be handled by Setup project, same for registration and adding to Global Assembly Cache I would be appreciate for help / suggestions with this issue.

In my table, for example, I have this: TM67 | 4 | 32556 TM67 | 9 | 98200 TM67 | 72 | 22300 TM99 | 2 | 23009 TM99 | 3 | 11200 And, I'd like to output: TM67| 4,9,72 | 32556,98200,22300 TM99 | 2,3 | 23009,11200 In MySQL, I was able to use GROUP_CONCAT, but that doesn't seem to work here... Is there an equivalent or another way to accomplish this?

  I'm trying to parse the output from a tool into a data structure but I'm having some difficulty getting things right. The file looks like this: Fruits Apple Auxiliary Core Extras Banana Something Coconut Vegetables Eggplant Rutabaga You can see that top-level items are indented by one space, and items beneath that are indented by two spaces for each level. The items are also in alphabetical order. How do I turn the file into a Python list that's something like ["Fruits", "Fruits/Apple", "Fruits/Banana", ..., "Vegetables", "Vegetables/Eggplant", "Vegetables/Rutabaga"]?

  I have a View that outputs a page. Under Basic Settings I set a "title". When I load the page, I see that title as the page title (at top of the browser) - all good. How can I print this value out in the "Display output" .tpl file? The $title variable doesn't seem to hold any value here. Do I need to use a preprocess function? Thanks
