  How do I add padding, or some space between the textboxes when using dockstyle.top property? for(int i =0; i< 10; i++) { textboxes[i] = new TextBox(); textboxes[i].Dock = DockStyle.Top; mypanel.Controls.Add(textboxes[i]); } The code above puts textboxes right beneath each other. Can't figure this out without using mass panels or fixed positioning. How to do the following? 1) I would like to add around 10-20pixels between boxes. 2) How to change size (height,width) of the textboxes, since when using dockstyle.top it ignores the size commands ?

  Hi, I'm coding an application on Ipad, in a certain point of my application I present a ViewController with the presentModalViewController. My ViewController is a UISScrollView who take the larger of the modalView and inside it I display some images, I allow pagingEnabled so I can see all my images inside the scrollView. Sometimes I have to display more than 10 images inside the scrollView, so I have this error RECEIVE MEMORY WARNING LEVEL=1 after this one RECEIVE MEMORY WARNING LEVEL=2 and finnaly the debugger exited due to signal 10 (Sigbus). What can I do? is there a way to unload the image thats offscreen? or others things to do? Thanks,

• AJAX call in for loop won't return values to correct array positions

  I need to get a range of pages using AJAX and put them into an array, where their given place in the array is equal to the i of a for loop (it's a caching-like function for blog pages, and the range of the for loop is entirely variable). I'm doing something akin to the following: var bongo = new Array(); for (i = 0; i < 10; i++) { jQuery.ajax({ type: "GET", url: http://localhost, data: queryString, success: function(request) { bongo[i] = request } }) } The problem is, that unless I add async: false to the .ajax options (which would make it... SJAX?), which causes the requests to basically pause the browser, going against what I'm trying to do, the i in the success callback will always end up being 11, whereas I of course want it to pour the returned data into each slot of the array from 0 to 10. I've tried replacing the line with this: bongo[i] = jQuery.ajax({ type: "GET", url: http://localhost, data: queryString }).responseText But that made no difference.

  I guess this would be a DevExpress mask, but here is what I have: var dlEdit = new DevExpress.XtraEditors.Repository.RepositoryItemTextEdit(); dlEdit.Mask.MaskType = MaskType.RegEx; dlEdit.Mask.EditMask = "\\d{1,10}"; I'm trying to get a number that can be up to 10 digits in length that WILL accept leading 0's, as it is now it will show the leading 0's (ex. 0032421243) until the field is clicked off in which case it removes them. I tried a numeric masktype but same thing only it wouldn't let me enter the 0's to start with at all. I thought this would be my answer but this custom type isn't. Can someone point me in the right direction for what I need? Maybe a different type of mask or something?

The formatted xml that I get is as below: node1, node2, node 3 are attributes of pojo,DetailDollars 100 25 10 I have requirement where in I have to calucluate a percentage, for example 100/ 25 and add the new node to the existing ones. So, the final output should be : 100 25 10 4 I wrote a custom converter and registered to my xstream object. public void marshal(..){ writer.startNode("node4"); writer.setValue(getNode1()/ getnode2() ); writer.endNode(); } But, the xml stream I get has only the new node: 4 I am not sure which xstream api would get me the desired format. could you please help me with this . It blazes through what should be a 150 MB download then fails installing the very first item after about 5 seconds. I had VS 2010 Beta 1 installed but removed it beforehand. Any tips for installing it right?   Hi, Is there any best practice when working with AST:s? I have a parsed expression AST. ConstantExpression, BinaryExpression etc. I want to populate a GUI-dialog with information from the AST, and it's here where I get kinda confused because my code gets pretty messy. Example: expression = "Var1 > 10 AND Var2 < 20" I want to populate two textboxes with value 10 resp. 20 from the AST. What I'm doing now is a recursive method that checks for correct child expression-types (with .Net Is-operator) and acts accordingly and the code is really "smelly" :) Is there any design pattern, like Visitor or such, that makes this somewhat easier/more readable/maintainable ?

The ggplot2 book says on p 112 "The position and justification of legends are controlled by the theme setting legend.position, and the value can be right, left, top, bottom, none (no legend), or a numeric position". • Why are emails sent from my applications being marked as spam?

  Hi. I have 2 web apps running on the same server. The first is www.nimikri.com and the other is www.hourjar.com. Both apps share the same IP address (75.127.100.175). My server is through a shared hosting company. I've been testing my apps, and at first all my emails were being delivered to me just fine. Then a few days ago every email from both apps got dumped into my spam box (in gmail and google apps). So far the apps have just been sending emails to me and nobody else, so I know people aren't manually flagging them as spam. I did a reverse DNS lookup for my IP and the results I got were these: 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS2.GNAX.NET. 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS1.GNAX.NET. Should the reverse DNS lookup point to nimikri.com and hourjar.com, or are they set up fine the way they are?   In my work I have with great results used approximate string matching algorithms such as Damerau–Levenshtein distance to make my code less vulnerable to spelling mistakes. Now I have a need to match strings against simple regular expressions such TV Schedule for \d\d (Jan|Feb|Mar|...). This means that the string TV Schedule for 10 Jan should return 0 while T Schedule for 10. Jan should return 2. This could be done by generating all strings in the regex (in this case 100x12) and find the best match, but that doesn't seam practical. Do you have any ideas how to do this effectively?

  I am creating a Stratego Game and am having trouble creating an algorithm that can detect when there are no more possible moves because all your pieces are gone or the remaining pieces are unmovable or trapped by forbidden squares, unmovable pieces, or other trapped pieces. For simplicity you can think of the board as an array of Squares which can contain pieces.   Assuming we are not concerned about running time of the program (which is practically infinite for human mortals), we want to print out in base 10, the exact value of 10^(googolplex), one digit at a time (mostly zeros). Describe an algorithm (which can be coded on current day computers), or write a program to do this. Since we cannot practically check the output, so we will rely on collective opinion on the correctness of the program. NOTE : I do not know the solution, or whether a solution exists or not. The problem is my own invention. To those readers who think this is not a CS question... kindly reconsider. This is difficult and bit theoretical but definitely CS.

  After accessing my web app using: - Python 2.7 - the Bottle micro framework v. 0.10.6 - Apache 2.2.22 - mod_wsgi - on Ubuntu Server 12.04 64bit; I'm receiving this error after several hours: OperationalError: (2006, 'MySQL server has gone away') I'm using MySQL - the native one included in Python. It usually happens when I don't access the server. I've tried closing all the connections, which I do, using this: cursor.close() db.close() where db is the standard MySQLdb.Connection() call. The my.cnf file looks something like this: key_buffer = 16M max_allowed_packet = 128M thread_stack = 192K thread_cache_size = 8 # This replaces the startup script and checks MyISAM tables if needed # the first time they are touched myisam-recover = BACKUP #max_connections = 100 #table_cache = 64 #thread_concurrency = 10 It is the default configuration file except max_allowed_packet is 128M instead of 16M. The queries to the database are quite simple, at most they retrieve approximately 100 records. Can anyone help me fix this? What I want to achieve is to from this markup: <span class="progress-bar">10 / 100</span> produce a progress bar with maximum value of 100 and current value of 10. I am using html() method to get the contents of the span and then split() to get the two numbers: $(document).ready(function() { $(".progress-bar").progressBar($(this).html().split(' / ')[0], { max: $(this).html().split(' / ')[1], textFormat: 'fraction' }); }); That doesn't work, any suggestions? I'm pretty sure the problem is with $(this).html().split(' / ')[0] and $(this).html().split(' / ')[1], is that a correct syntax?
