    Hey I am having some issues while using Nggalley plugin for wordpress the plugin makes use of a JW player and JW player needs an XML - so it requests link like this http://nextgen-gallery.com/index.php?callback=imagerotator&gid=1&149 The lay &xxx really creaps me out couse I am using it for joomla and joomla doesn't like this I am assuming that this has to do with wordpress but still unsure. what does this ending of URL really mean? PS. I would never ever use wordpress plugin in joomla but my client uses and I have to fix it

  • How do I remove a folder from Windows Distributed File System?

    We recently moved to a webfarm and setup dfs, only to find a beta application was creating files like there was no tomorrow. 1.2 million files were replicated across the farm, and since then we have prevented the application from creating new files, but every time we try to remove the files, it replaces them on each server because of replication. The process of replacing them actually causes to server to run slowly and in some cases stall. Is there any way we can stop replication at a folder level?

    Hi all, I have my JAVA_HOME set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_18 After I run maven install I get this message from eclipse: Reason: Unable to locate the Javac Compiler in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\..\lib\tools.jar Please ensure you are using JDK 1.4 or above and not a JRE (the com.sun.tools.javac.Main class is required). In most cases you can change the location of your Java installation by setting the JAVA_HOME environment variable.     Hey guys, I've got a class in my project that stores a List< of elements. I'm trying to figure out whether I should allow the user to add to that List directly (e.g. Calling the native add/remove methods) or lock it down by declaring the List private and only allowing a handful of methods I choose to actually alter the List. It's a framework, so I'm trying to design it as robustly as possible, but I also want to keep it as simple and error-free as possible. What's the best practice in this situation? Thanks, Tyler

  • Is there a POSIX syscall to resolve file system paths?

    Is there a POSIX syscall to resolve filesystem paths? I have the CWD for a path, as well as the path to a file from that CWD. I can't use chdir to switch to the directory because I need to resolve paths from multiple threads simultaneously. I considered appending a / in between the CWD and the path, but for some reason it feels like that's hacky. Is that the proper way to resolve relative paths?

  • ImagickDraw::setFont has no effect on my system; suggestions?

    Running on Ubuntu LTS 8.04, PHP 5.2.8, ImageMagick 6.6.1-5 installed from source, and Imagick 2.3.0 installed from pecl. ImageMagick's 'convert' command sets fonts properly, and ImagickDraw::setFont properly complains if an invalid path to a font has been specified. However, specifying a valid font has no effect in changing the appearance of the drawn font whatsoever. Also, specifying a valid filename that contains invalid font data fails to trigger an error. It's almost as if Imagick isn't doing anything other than verifying that the specified file exists. Any suggestions?

Looking round the internet I can't find any good examples or tutorials on how to create a visual studio plugin that can be docked to the bottom of the screen (same place as error list, test results, etc) Does anyone know of a good website I can look at for examples or tutorials of the basics of creating a visual studio plugin, specifically for VS2008?

  • Android App Build system differences between Eclipse and Ant?

    The Eclipse build for my 1.6 application project is succeeding and the Ant build is failing. I'm looking for help on why they aren't behaving the same way. We are developing on Mac OSX 10.5.8 with Eclipse 3.5 against SDK 1.6 + Google APIs. There are no setting changes in Eclipse, either at workspace or project level. Similarly, our ant is also a vanilla- flavored unmodified installation of 1.7.1. JDK is 1.5.0_22. The CLASSPATH environment variable is not set. JAVA_HOME is /Library/Java/ Home The application was initially created by a team member using the Eclipse plugins. The application references two jar files, one of which has a dependency on javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlSeeAlso, which is not defined anywhere in our code or in android.jar. The other jar file has an explicit dependency on android.jar. I generated the Ant build file using android update. The Eclipse project builds an apk and runs the application in the emulator. I think this is incorrect behavior. The Android ant project fails to build. I think this is correct behavior. MyClass.java:98: cannot access javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlSeeAlso [javac] file javax/xml/bind/annotation/XmlSeeAlso.class not found Any ideas as to why the two build methods are behaving differently? I run the project in Debug mode so a page opens in my browser where I can enter an input and invoke the method of the service.   • File version maintainence via PHP FTP?

    Currently I'm working on a "plugin" that will be installed on many different sites and I was wondering on the best way for me to maintain the file version of this "plugin". Here's what I was thinking. Have a "master copy" of the plugin on a server, then connect via FTP to the target sites and upload the copy to their site overwriting whatever files they may have. I was wondering the best way to go about this. The "plugin" will have many different folders and files so transferring one file at a time will be too tedious. Is there a way to copy an entire folder over at a time? Or even better, is there a way to recurse through the folders and checking for file difference before uploading the new file? This is to make sure we are uploading a new file and not just the same one.

How do I include the sources from my modules into the archive?

  • Java: separating JAR versions

    I'm developing a Java plugin for an existing Java program. The existing program uses a specific version of eclipse.uml2.* and my plugin does too. Unfortunately I need a newer version for my plugin. In order to run the plugin, I need to export it into a Jar file (with all jars packed). Then the program executes it. But somehow the new eclipse.uml2.* seem to interfere with the program - it crashes. Is there a way to "separate" both versions of the jar files?

    I am writing a plugin for another application. I want to support the plugin on multiple platforms, so I am strongly considering using Qt. The plugin needs to be able to show some basic GUI. The plugin interface does not in any way handle GUI - it is just a simple DLL/shared library specified with a C-header file. Can I use Qt inside such a shared library? The calling application might or might not be using Qt itself. Any hints on what to do? Do I need to run a QApplication event-loop in a separate thread? Or can I just call the event-loop myself while waiting for input? (I only need modal dialogs).

  • Cannot run an executable binary file on another Linux System??

    I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and Qt4.6, and I've created an executable binary file on my own computer through QtCreator. Now I want to put my executable file on CentOS 5, but it seems that this executable file cannot run on CentOS. Do I need to set some compile parameters to make it runnable on Linux other than Ubuntu?? Or do I need to put some lib files with the executable binary file? (For windows, the .exe file should put together with some .dll files to provide the correct dynamic lib linkage, is there some similar problem on linux?) Thanks for your help!

    Hi all Is it possible, using spring security plugin 0.5.3 with Grails 1.2.1, to authenticate a user using only one field? I mean, for example, making j_username and j_password fields in the authentication form equal previous to the authentication. I read it was possible to define j_username field in Config.groovy with acegi plugin, in older versions of the plugin. Now it uses SecurityConfig.groovy but the possibility of defining the field exists no more. Any ideas?? Thanks a lot, Miguel
