  • Controlling usb devices from a droid?

    Anyone know where I can find information on how I can control the USB port on a Droid running Android 2.0? I want to know how to either initialize the USB port or send data across it vi a program. I want to be able to atatch a device to the USB port to act as a switch to control a microservo. So when I said "send data" across the port, I just need to be able to energize the transmit pin on the USB to turn the servo on. Thanks ahead, Tom

  • Detect click events outside div inside usercontrol

    I have a div inside a user control that is displayed by the user after some event. I want to hide this div when user clicks anywhere elese on the page but not on the div (or not on any element that is inside the div). If it wasn't a user control I could use body's clieck event to check the target, but because this is usercontrol that is hosted by other page I can't just "play" with it's elements. How can I achieve that without using body of the hosting page?

    Hi, Due to the lack of Deployment functionality of Visual Studio Express edition, I'm here asking if anyone can recommend a very nice free Deployment template for the express edition. I'm mainly working with C# desktop project. I know that there is still ClickOnce deployment in the Express edition, but it seems to me that it is not so difficult to control, which means, you do "click once", then the tool will give you a bunch of files out of my control, not so easy to maintain.     I have made an ActiveX control and have made its .cab file for automatic installation on client machine using Internet Explorer.. It working fine of Windows XP, but on windows Vista and Windows 7 its installation is blocked by UAC (User account control), and when I disable it, all things works fine... I have signed my .cab file with a certificate for development enviornment... What is the way to over come this problem.. I don't want to tell users to disable their UAC module...

    Hi, i have a small problem. Im using the ASP.NET Xml control and want to pass it a url to a rss feed and a stylesheet - so that i can style the rss myself on my website. When applying the full web path to the xml control (http://www.myserver.com/myfeed.rss) i get an exception telling me that the document source is not a valid virtual path. What am i doing wrong? I would hate to download the file before showing it...

    Is there any way to enable debugging from within the Windows Forms Designer in Visual Studio (any version, up to and including 2010)? What I mean is, say I have some custom user control, and this control has certain validation that it performs when I set a particular property. I'd like to be able to set a breakpoint somewhere within that code, and step through it to see what happens when I set the property from the designer.

    Hi all, i would like to know what is the correct way to create a fullscreen view of a tabpage control. This page has other controls, and that controls has various events that are subscribed. I was trying creating a new fullscreen form and copy all controls of the tabs to that form, but with this approach i need to resubscribe every control to the corresponding handler. If i only add the references the subscription remains but when the fullscreen form is close also the referenced copied controls are lost.

    Hi Folks, I'm a beginner in silverlight so i hope i can get an answer that brings me some more light in the measure process of silverlight. I found an interessting flap out control from silverlight slide control and now I try to use it in my project. So that the slide out is working proper, I have to place the user control on a canvas. The user control then uses for itself the height of its content. I just wanna change that behavior so that the height is set to the available space from the parent canvas. You see the uxBorder where the height is set. How can I measure the actual height and set it to the border? I tried it with Height={Binding ElementName=notificationCanvas, Path=ActualHeight} but this dependency property has no callback, so the actualHeight is never set.     Hi all, In Mac, in skype when we add users to an existing chat, by clicking '+' button on top, a beak like window appears carrying a token field like control. When an user types some name in it and a match is found then a list appears carrying user icon , status icon and his/her name. Also the width of dynamic list is same as beak window.
