  Hi folks, i am using WatiN lib for automation test. But some case i have to access a modal dialog which is fired another modal dialog. Above code works fine but last line open a modaldialog again. i can not access it with using ie instance.. any idea ? • How to use and/or localize DisplayAttribute with ASP.NET MVC2?

  I am trying to figure out how to get the DisplayAttribute in my MVC 2 ViewModel to work with the Html.LabelFor() helper. Neither public class TestModel { [Display(ResourceType = typeof(Localization.Labels))] public string Text { get; set; } } nor public class TestModel { [Display(Name = "test")] public string Text { get; set; } } seem to work. Localizing the Required Attribute works as expected: [Required(ErrorMessageResourceName = "Test", ErrorMessageResourceType = typeof(Localization.Labels))] I am using VS2010 RC. Has anybody got that running?

When running it, I get KeyError: 138 module body in test.py at line 4 function __init__ in pcap.py at line 105 Program exited. Why is this? What's wrong?

  I'm trying to pass a ViewData object from a master page to a view user control using the ViewDataDictionary. The problem is the ViewDataDictionary is not returning any values in the view user control whichever way i try it. The sample code below is using an anonymous object just for demonstration although neither this method or passing a ViewData object works. Following is the RenderPartial helper method i'm trying to use: <% Html.RenderPartial("/Views/Project/Projects.ascx", ViewData.Eval("Projects"), new ViewDataDictionary(new { Test = "Mark" })); %> and in my view user control i do the following: <%= Html.Encode(ViewData["Test"]) %> Why does this not return anything? EDIT: I'm able to pass and access the stronlgy typed model without any problems. it's the ViewDataDictionary which i'm trying to use to pass say just a single value outside of the model..

  I have a windows service which exposes an endpoint over http. Again this is a windows service (not a web service hosted in iis). I then call methods from this endpoint, using javascript/ajax. Everything works perfectly, and this the code I'm using in my windows service to create the endpoint: //Create host object WebServiceHost webServiceHost = new WebServiceHost(svcHost.obj, new Uri("http://192.168.0.100:1213")); //Add Https Endpoint WebHttpBinding binding = new WebHttpBinding(); webServiceHost.AddServiceEndpoint(svcHost.serviceContract, binding, string.Empty); //Add MEX Behaivor and EndPoint ServiceMetadataBehavior metadataBehavior = new ServiceMetadataBehavior(); metadataBehavior.HttpGetEnabled = true; webServiceHost.Description.Behaviors.Add(metadataBehavior); webServiceHost.AddServiceEndpoint(ServiceMetadataBehavior.MexContractName, MetadataExchangeBindings.CreateMexHttpBinding(), "mex"); webServiceHost.Open(); Now, my goal is to get this same model working over SSL (https not http). I have then used netsh.exe to configure my port (1213) with the test cert I created, all with no problem. Now, the problem is my javascript/ajax call cannot communicate with the service over https. I simply get some generic commication error (12031). So, as a test, I changed the port I was calling in the javascript to some other random port, and I get the same error - which tells me that I'm obviously not even reaching my service over https. I'm at a complete loss at this point, I feel like everything is in place, and I just can't see what the problem is. Unfortunately, when trying to unit test methods that use this technique I am experiencing random failures. ~3 out of every five executions of a test that contain this code fails. I can verify this by setting breakpoints in Foo and observing that they are never reached. Further, I can force a long delay after calling DoMethodThatInvokesService (which kicks off the async call), and the code is still never run. I do know that the lines of code invoking the Rx framework were called. Other things I've tried: I have attempted to modify the second last line according to the suggestions here: Reactive Extensions Rx - unit testing something with ObserveOnDispatcher No love. I have added .Take(1) to the Rx code as follows: func(inData).ObserveOnDispatcher().Take(1).Subscribe(x = Foo(x)); This improved my failure rate to something like 1 in 5, but they still occurred. I have rewritten the Rx code to use the plain jane Async pattern. This works, however my developer ego really would love to use Rx instead of boring old begin/end. In the end I do have a work around in hand (i.e. don't use Rx), however I feel that it is not ideal. If anyone has ran into this problem in the past and found a solution, I'd dearly love to hear it.

• Fiddler not sniffing SOAP traffic from ASP.NET website

  So far I've been successfully using fiddler to sniff web service traffic from both test fixtures, console apps and web projects. Today I noticed I am not able anymore to sniff that kind of traffic if I am running my web application (it's a ASP.NET website, hosted locally on IIS). I see all the local traffic but the web service traffic is just gone (the service is being hit as I do see the response debugging into the code). I am still able to successfully sniff soap requests and responses from test fixtures or console apps in the same solution (exact same environment). If it was a windows (I am on Win7) security update or the likes it would never work I guess (unless it affects only traffic routed through IIS). What should I be looking for that could cause the emergence this behavior? Any pointers appreciated!

I'd really like to host this in a usercontrol so I can drop the todo list onto a project page, task page or stand alone todo list page. Here's what I have. I just moved over to Delphi 2007 and now with the same program I get EFCreateError, cannot create file "" I got the error description from MAdexcept 3.0.   Hi: This is a strange problem I encountered. I have an window application written in c# to do testing. It has a MDI parent form that is hosting a few children forms. One of the forms launch test cripts by creating processes and capture the scripts output to a text box. Another form open serial port and monitoring the status of the device I am working on(like a shell). If I ran both of them together, the output of the script seems only appear in the text box after the test is done. However, If I don't open the serial port form, the output of the script is captured in real time. Does anyone knows what's causing the problem? I notice the onDataReceived even handler for serial port form has a [SAThread] header to it. Will this cause the serial port thread having higher priority than other processes? Thanks in advance.

• My delete function does not delete the targeted file

  Basically I could upload files based on a project. Whenever I create a project, a new directory is created with the directory name as the project_name e.g. this is a test - this-is-a-test.
