  • jQuery button click refresh of jqGrid only firing once

    I have the following jQuery code which I'm using to populate a jqGrid. It works perfectly posting to my ASP.NET MVC page on the first click of the button. My problem is, any other clicks past the first it seems to run through the jquery code when clicking the button but it never makes it to the POST page.     Is it possible to align grid column headers in jqgrid? eg align left right or center? In the jqrid documents http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:colmodel_options it says: align: Defines the alignment of the cell in the Body layer, not in header cell. Possible values: left, center, right. Note that it says "not in the header cell". How can I do this for the header cell (grid title cell)? The documentation fails to mention this little detail....

  • How to use WINAPI from newer SDK but still using the old SDK in WindowsMobile.

    Specifically, I want to use Point-to-point Message Queue but because I am still using legacy codes in eVC++ 4 and it only support until PocketPC 2003SE SDK, I cannot find CreateMsgQueue and friends in the headers (the port to newer VisualStudio is still in progess) I am using the Message Queue to do IPC with apps developed with WM-6.5-DTK (VS2005). Update: I am using the following code (taken from msgqueue.h) to store function pointers and load CoreDLL.dll using GetProcAddress() and LoadLibrary() respectively.   • MetadataType, inherited properties and client validation in ASP.NET MVC 2

    Inherited properties and MetadataType does not seem to work with client side validation in ASP.NET MVC 2. The validation of our MetadataTypes work as expected on the server but for some reason it does not generate the appropriate client scripts for it. Client side validation kicks in as expected for properties with the DataAnnotations attributes set on the PersonView so I know that client side validation is active and that it works. Does anyone know if or how it can be fixed?     I have an ISAPI filter that I am using to do URL rewriting for my CMS. I am processing SF_NOTIFY_PREPROC_HEADERS notifications, and trying to do this: DWORD ProcessHeader(HTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT *con, HTTP_FILTER_PREPROC_HEADERS *head) { head->SetHeader(con, "test1", "aaa"); con->AddResponseHeaders(con, "test2:bbb\r\n", 0); return SF_STATUS_REQ_NEXT_NOTIFICATION; } However, I can't seem to read these values using server variables or response headers in classic ASP or PHP. The values are missing. I'm expecting either my "test1" or "test2" header values to appear, but they are not. Am I doing something wrong here?

    We have JSF web application that generates XLS file and gives user link to thes file. All works fine if access this file via HTTP. But IE(8) cannot open/save this xls file via HTTPS. There is following error message: Internet Explorer cannot download ...466088C5C313F92808BDB0AFF3447 from testhost. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. I can open the same document via HTTPS in Firefox and in Chrome. What can be the problem with IE?     Hi guys, I keep on getting this error "error: expected specifier-qualifier-list for core data code im working with, in the app delegate. Now when i get this error and about 40 other errors relating to managedobjectcontext etc, i thought maybe the library needs to be imported. Now i havent done this before, but i went to Frameworks group and add existing frameworks and it added CoreData.framework. I re-build and it still came up with the error. Do I need to import anything in the headers explicitly or is there some other step i need to do? Thanks

    Hi all, I am having this problem with one of my cakePHP applications. My application displays a big html table on the page. I noticed that when the table goes beyond a certain size limit, IE cannot display that page. While trying to figure out why this happens, I noticed that my html response header contains a HUGE number of lines repeating the same thing.   • Return automatic download JQuery Ajax Call

    I use the Ajax JQuery command to call a PHP script that generates a CSV file and returns a link to that file for the user to download. I would like to make this more user friendly by automatically starting the download so the user sees the browsers "Save or Open" window instead of having to click the download link. I'm guessing I need to somehow change the headers in the Ajax success callback function?? I'm not really sure what I should be titling my searches or even if this is possible. Thanks!

  • Hitting a ADO.NET Data Services from WPF client, forms authentication

    Hey all! There are a number of questiosn on StackOverflow that ALMOST hit this topic head on, but they are either for other technologies, reference obsolets information or don;t supply an answer that I can suss out. So pardon the almost duplication :) I have a working ADO.NET Data Service, and a WPF client that hits it. Now that they are working fine I want to add authentication / security to the system. My understanding of the steps so far is... Turn on forms authentication and configure it on the server (I have an existing asp.net membership service DB for other aspects of this app, so that isnt a problem) so that it is required for the service URL In WCF apply for and recieve a forms authentication "ticket" as part of a login routine Add that "ticket" to the headers of the ADO.NET service calls in WPF Profit! All well and good - but does anyone have a line on a soup to nuts code sample, using the modern releases of these technologies? Thanks!

    I'm trying to figure out to store a reference to an ABPerson in a Core Data store on an iPhone app. Ultimately, I'd like to be able to sync with a Mac version of the app (I'm assuming ABRecordIDs wouldn't be the same for the iPhone and the Mac). I was thinking of storing the record ID, name, and email and checking against those--is there a better way?

    Hello. I have no good script-writing experience. So, I have a list created on MOSS 2007 with about 1000 elements and attachments enabled. I need to attach to each list item file (*.jpg) from a local folder. I doesn't have administrator privileges at MOSS server, only contributor rights Here is my script: $web = new-Object system.Net.WebClient $web.Credentials = [System.Net.CredentialCache]::DefaultCredentials $web.Headers.Add("user-agent", "PowerShell Script") $web.UploadFile('http://ruglbsrvsps/IT/Lists/Test1/', 'C:\temp\Attachments\14\Img1.jpg' ) Test1 - target list; Item1, Item2, Item3 - list items, without attachments, created manually When I run script, it returns byte array and does not upload file to the list item. Can you fix my script or advice better solution for my task (attach bulk of files to the MOSS list items, only contributor rights for target Sharepoint 2007 list) Thank you.

  • Rails 3 can not find sqlite3-ruby

    I am trying to learn rails3. I tried folowing the installation guide from guides.rails.info, I installed sudo gem install rake rack-test rack-mount erubis mail sudo gem install tzinfo builder i18n memcache-client sudo gem install text-format thor And rails 3 via sudo gem install rails --pre Now I create a new app rails abc And try rake db:create Which fails with Could not find gem 'sqlite3-ruby (>= 0, runtime)' in any of the sources. So I try installing sqlite3-ruby sudo gem install sqlite3-ruby Which fails with Could not create Makefile due to some reason, probably lack of necessary libraries and/or headers. Check the mkmf.log file for more details. You may need configuration options. So I install it via apt-get sudo aptitude install libsqlite3-ruby1.8. And still get same error on rake db:create.

  • SSRS 2005 Matrix and border styles when exporting to XLS

    The Matrix in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services 2005) seems to have issues with certain the border styles when exporting to XLS (but not PDF or web view; maybe other formats, not sure?). For example: Create a matrix and set the Matrix border style to Black Solid 1px, but all 4 of the cells to have a border style of Black None 1px. When viewed via the ASP.NET control, it looks correct. But after export to XLS, it creates borders around all of the header cells (column and row headers, and the top left cell), and even the right most data column. But all the cells in the middle of the report correctly have no border set. Update: If the Matrix borders are set to None, then the borders on the cells don't show up in XLS. So, how do you set an outer border around the Matrix, but not have it apply the 'all sides' border to every cell that touches the edge of the Matrix when exported to Excel?

  • Does jQuery ajaxSetup({cache: true}) generally work?

    jQuery 1.4.2 omits the timestamp GET parameter (to defeat browser cacheing) if I assert the ajax cache setting in the local context: $.ajax({ url: searcher, data: keys, cache: true, type: 'GET', dataType: 'json', success: function(data) { // something }); But it includes timestamp if I move the setting out of there and into the global context: $.ajaxSetup({cache: true}); Moreover, if I let the default apply, jQuery sets timestamp, which doesn't seem to match the manual. Do you experience the same? Do HTTP cache control response headers from the server affect this jQuery feature?

  • Fmylife javascript copy-paste into link

    Fmylife.com has a nifty feature that when you copy the text from a post, it actually copies a LINK (html) so that when you paste it into your email/facebook/instant messenger/twitter/whatever it automatically will link to the post, giving them more traffic and more page views and more ad revenue, etc. I looked into their javascript files but can't seem to find how they do it. How would one go about copying this behavior?
