  • How to make javascript for font sizes fully language dependent?

    Hello All I have a multilanguage webiste English and Arabic. The javascript for the fontsizes is included in the theme not in the .css. Both language have different fontsize 16 and 12. When switching from English to Arabic the English letters such as ( dates and stuff like that ) are shown way too big. And when switching from English to Arabic the arabic letters are too small. I would really like to make this javascrip fully language dependent so that the English letters being shown in the Arabic version keeps the same fontsize as in English version and vice versa for arabic. //-- function setstyle(tag){ var elements = document.getElementsByTagName(tag); for (var i = 0; i The following script is the current javascript included in the theme.     So I have I think around 36,000 just to be safe, a number I wouldn't think was too large for a modern sql database like mysql. Each record has just two attributes.     I have a MySQL Server operating just fine if I access him from his local LAN (192.168.100.0/24). If I try to access hin from another LAN (192.168.113.0/24 in this case) it hangs for a really long time before delivering the result. SHOW PROCESSLIST; shows this process in Sleep, State empty.   • HTML/Javascript Strange behavior with input field and TABBING

    I have a strange error where if a user enters in data, say first name and then tabs, the text in the field is highlighted/selected as opposed to moving to the next. So, a person may type the first name and then tab to the next input item, text is selected and then they hit a character and now the name they typed in is deleted. If I use the default [input] tags, the tab works properly. But in the code below, with keyup, that may change the tabbing behavior. How can I get my code where it won't select the text.     I'm trying to compare 2 dates using javascript. 1 at the end of the month and 1 at the beginning. I need to compare these 2 dates in seconds so I'm using the Date.UTC javascript function. Here's the code: var d = Date.UTC(2010,5,31,23,59,59); document.write(d); var d2 = Date.UTC(2010,6,1,12,20,11); document.write(d2); The output for is: 1278028799000 1277986811000 This is telling me that 1/6/2010 is less than 5/31/2010 in milliseconds.     Hi, I need in animation of sequence of more PNG files (300 png files and size is 320x480). I've try make it with 12 fps, but sometime iPhone 3g have lags... 3gs working fine. I think 2g working with lags always. I've use one UIImageView and loading images in NStimer callback by UIImage:imageWithContentOfFile.   • Not getting native resolution of external monitor in Ubuntu

    Since there us a defect in my laptop screen, I am using an external Dell 1600x1000 monitor. Windows was recognizing the native resolution correctly. But when I installed Ubuntu 10.10, I get only up to 1024x768 in the Monitor preferences. I had a look at this and tried to add resolution by running xrandr --addmode VGA 1600×1000 but I am getting the error xrandr: cannot find output "VGA" What is the way out.

    I have a hickup in using printf . I am on ubuntu 10.04. Basically i have a C program asking for some input and then prints it back. It is OK for printing something after inputing. I tried to insert some Hex Address to Stack by following format:- printf "hello world!\x12\x23\x34" | ./input1 But i don't know what is the problem. If i give only string beyond 12 bytes it overwrites BUT If I give hex address(through printf), it doesn't overwrite on return address. Instead it stores some other thing. Could anyone help???     I have an application which has different font sizes for different controls say Button: 10, TextBlock : 12 etc. I want to give options to the user where he can select any one of the below say Normal , Small, Big, Bigger. Suppose one selects "small" I would want to decrease every distinct font size by 2. If "Big", I would want to increase every font size by 2. I hope we can do this using converter sending actual font size as parameter and render as per the selected choice if I am not wrong. What will be the best option.     Hi all I have followed the instructions on the Android website on how to download the latest android source code files but it gives errors when i run this command: repo init -u git://android2.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git It gives the following error: Getting repo ... from git://android.git.kernel.org/tools/repo.git android.git.kernel.org[0: 199.6.1.176]: errno=Connection refused android.git.kernel.org[0: 130.239.17.12]: errno=Connection refused fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection refused) On checking forums for its resolution, i was told that port 9418 was being blocked. I use Ubuntu 10.04 and ensured that the firewall wasnt blocking the port and also enabled the port and the above IP addresses. I also spoke to the networking peeps who ensured that no traffic from the internet is being blocked. I would be glad if i could get directions on how to proceed next. Many thanks as you respond.     Hello, If i insert multiple records with a loop that executes a single record insert, the last insert id returned is, as expected, the last one... but if i do a multiple records insert statement: INSERT INTO people (name,age) VALUES('William',25),('Bart',15),('Mary',12); let's say the three above are the first records inserted in the table...after the insert statement i expected last insert id to return 3, but it returned 1...the first insert id for the statement in question... So can someone please confirm if this is the normal behavior of LAST_INSERT_ID() in the context of multiple records INSERT statements...so i can base my code on it thanks :)

    I have 2 arrays in 2D, where the column vectors are feature vectors. One array is of size F x A, the other of F x B, where A << B. As an example, for A = 2 and F = 3 (B can be anything): arr1 = np.array( [[1, 4], [2, 5], [3, 6]] ) arr2 = np.array( [[1, 4, 7, 10, ..], [2, 5, 8, 11, ..], [3, 6, 9, 12, ..]] ) I want to calculate the distance between arr1 and a fragment of arr2 that is of equal size (in this case, 3x2), for each possible fragment of arr2. The column vectors are independent of each other, so I believe I should calculate the distance between each column vector in arr1 and a collection of column vectors ranging from i to i + A from arr2 and take the sum of these distances (not sure though). Does numpy offer an efficient way of doing this, or will I have to take slices from the second array and, using another loop, calculate the distance between each column vector in arr1 and the corresponding column vector in the slice?

I checked the PHP docs for scanf (as suggested by fscanf), and I didn't see anything mentioning having to escape a left bracket. Any suggestions on how to get the 4th and 5th elements to look like "user" and "message" respectively?

  • java detect clicked buttons

    I have multiple panels on a JFrame window. I am going to populate each panel differently every time. For example: i start the GUI: (image center panel, right panel, bottom panel). Center panel is populated with 20 buttons, right panel with 10 buttons and bottom panel with 3. second start of the GUI (same gui). Center panel has 50 buttons, right panel has 12 buttons, bottom has 3. So everytime there is a random number of buttons, impossible to be all uniquely named. Given the fact that I don't have a unique name for each button (just a list) I would like to know which buttons were clicked according to the panel they belong to. is that possible?

    Actually in my system having 2007 office then i am reading the 2003 .xls file with using the 2007 connection string string ConnectionString = "Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=" + Filename + ";Extended Properties=\"Excel 8.0;HDR=YES;\""; data is not reading. But if the first row first column data length is lessthen 255 then the following first columns data is cutting up to 255 character. If the First row first column is morethan the 255 character then the following first columns data is reading fine. Is there any back word computability is there?
