    Hi, I am connecting with a php web service from my iphone application, I am doing a simple thing i.e. 1. Getting user inputs for: username password in a text field from the iphone form and sending the same to the PHP Post request web service. At the web service end I receive nothing other than blank fields that are inserted into the MySQL Database....... When i click the second tab bar, the tab bar view is seen only after the parsing is done, till the parsing time the tab bar appears like unselected.I want to display the tabbar view with activity indicator when the parsing is done.How can i achieve it.Please help me out.Thanks.

  • Grid view in iPhone SDK

    Hi, I would like to create a grid view in my iPhone app similar to that shown in the iPad photos app. I know that the iPhone 3.2 SDK is under NDA, but is there a library or framework available for adding this kind of functionality (non-SDK). Ideally I would like to eventually develop an iPad version of the app, where the grid would be 3 items wide in portrait and 4 in landscape, however for the time being I would like 2 items wide in portrait and 3 wide in landscape. The only way I can think of doing this is by subclassing UITableView and having a custom cell that creates the 2 or 3 items. This however seems messy and I am sure that there is a better way. A typical item will have a picture, label and button - nothing too complicated. Thanks

    Hello. I added Orthographic Camera to my project. I want to show my chart on screen proportional. For example height is 4 and width 4 (region from -2 to 2). I set width to 4 and it perfectly fit my square in widht. but i have problem with height. The chart top and bottom is always out of screen space. Why this happens and how to set to camera view the same width and height ? Camera position: 0,0,5 Viewport have size: 571.5x497 On image we can see on vertical axis points from 2 to -2 but on vertical much more. How to make them same?     is there a way to send multiple startKey/endKey pairs to a view, akin to the keys: [] array that can be posted for keys? the underlying problem - let's say my documents have "categories" and timestamps. if i want all documents in the "foo" category that have a timestamp that's within the last two hours, it's simple: function (doc) { emit([doc.category, doc.timestamp], null); } and then query as GET server:5894/.../myview?startKey=[foo, |now - 2 hours|]&endkey=[foo, |now|] the problem comes when i want something in categories foo or bar, within the last two hours. if i didn't care about time, i could just pull directly by key through the keys collection. unfortunately, i have no such option with ranges. what i ended up doing in the meantime is rounding the timestamp to two-hour blocks, and then multiplexing the query out: POST server:5894/.../myview keys=[[foo, 0 hours], [foo, 2 hours], [bar, 0 hours], [bar, 2 hours]] it works, but will get messy if i want to go back a large amount of time (in relationship to the blocksize)

    Hi, I have a ListView with TextBoxes in second column. I want to validate that my text box does not contain a number if the third column(data_type) is "Text". I am unable to do the validation. I tried a few approaches. In one approach I try to handle the MouseDown event and am trying to get the Row number so that I can get the data_type value of that row. I want to us this value in the Validate method. I have been struggling for a week now.     I am sending a $.Ajax POST to a MVC Controller function with parameters and returning a JasonResult successfully. What I need to happen is that the current View be returned (as if it was not a JSON request and I was returning the Viewdata). The Viewdata has been updated and the page needs to be redrawn. In short, I want the MVC Action to respond back to the $Ajax request correctly, and then have the page redrawn using the updated Viewdata. Hope this makes sense, coming down with a bad cold.

    I have mapped a simple entity, let's say an invoice using Fluent NHibernate, everything works fine... after a while it turns out that very frequently i need to process 'sent invoices' (by sent invoices we mean all entities that fulfill invoice.sent==true condition)... is there a way to easily abstract 'sent invoices' in terms of my data access layer? I dont like the idea of having aforementioned condition repeated in half of my repository methods. I thought that using a simple filtering view would be optimal, but how could it be done? Maybe I am doing it terribly wrong and someone would help me realize it :)?

    Hi. How do I rotate the ImageView ... i'm trying to use landscape mode, and have a problem with accelerometer moving the image ... Because when I work in portrait mode the x of accelerometer is the same as the x of the image ... But when I work landscape, the x of accelerometer is the y of the image, because the ImageView autorotates with the parent View. When I rotate the image with CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(M_PI/2), it rotates only the image in it's ImageView... and the x,y sides stays untouched ... Is there any way to make own class which will extend UIImageView where I will swap the x,y sides of a UIImageView ? Or is there some way to rotate the UIImageView, and not only the image in it?

    I've got a rootViewController that, at one point, displays a peoplePickerNavigationController. I'm trying to push a second view controller when my user selects a specific contact property, like so: -(BOOL)peoplePickerNavigationController:(ABPeoplePickerNavigationController *)picker shouldContinueAfterSelectingPerson:(ABPersonRef)person property:(ABPropertyID)property identifier:(ABMultiValueIdentifier)identifier { RuleBuilder *ruleBuilder = [[RuleBuilder alloc] initWithNibName:@"RuleBuilder" bundle:nil]; [self pushModalViewController:ruleBuilder animated:YES]; [ruleBuilder release]; return NO; } This compiles just fine, but when I run the code in the simulator and run through the peoplePicker, nothing happens when I select a contact property. On a whim, I added a [self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; just before [ruleBuilder release]; and that dismisses the peoplePicker, but otherwise has no effect on my missing ruleBuilder. Any ideas?

    Hi, I have a UITable View that displays an image in the left hand side of the table cell, and it works fine in the simulator. Only problem is, once I ran it on my device no images appear. At first 3 did, but then I "cleaned headers" and now none appear. Have checked that images are added to resource folder for build (which they are) and that capitals etc. match (which they do).     Qt's graphics view frameworks is very powerful, but I have not found a way to support custom layers. In Qt, there is a QGraphicsScene::ItemLayer,but QGraphicsScene renders all items are in this layer. I want manage the items with several layers, Just like Illustrator and CorelDraw. all the item only in the current layer will receive the event, be selected or get the key focus etc.. Other layers(not current layer) will not receive all scene event. The most reasons of using layers is I could catalogue a large number of items more clearly.And without needing transfer events to all the layers' items ,I think the graphics frameworks will be more efficient. The last question, does QGraphicsView support rendering server stacked graphics scenes at the same time? If support, I think the "custom layers" can be solved in this way. Thanks very much!

Is there any way we can tell in that abc.jsp needs to be default and it can be found in such and such path. Also the url pattern is html so is there a way it can be mapped in Spring MVC. For example - When a user types www.example.com , I want the application to direct to abc.jsp page and also when someone types www.example.com/something, even then application should direct to abc.jsp, but the url pattern shouldnt be compromised.
