  • SQL Server SELECT stored procedure according to combobox.selectedvalue

    - by Jay
    In order to fill a datagridview according to the selectedvalue of a combobox I've tried creating a stored procedure. However, as I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing, depending on the WHERE statement at the end of my stored procedure, it either returns everything within the table or nothing at all. This is what's in my class: Public Function GetAankoopDetails(ByRef DisplayMember As String, ByRef ValueMember As String) As DataTable DisplayMember = "AankoopDetailsID" ValueMember = "AankoopDetailsID" If DS.Tables.Count > 0 Then DS.Tables.Remove(DT) End If DT = DAC.ExecuteDataTable(My.Resources.S_AankoopDetails, _Result, _ DAC.Parameter(Const_AankoopID, AankoopID), _ DAC.Parameter("@ReturnValue", 0)) DS.Tables.Add(DT) Return DT End Function Public Function GetAankoopDetails() As DataTable If DS.Tables.Count > 0 Then DS.Tables.Remove(DT) End If DT = DAC.ExecuteDataTable(My.Resources.S_AankoopDetails, _Result, _ DAC.Parameter(Const_AankoopID, AankoopID), _ DAC.Parameter("@ReturnValue", 0)) DS.Tables.Add(DT) Return DT End Function This is the function in the code behind the form I've written in order to fill the datagridview: Private Sub GridAankoopDetails_Fill() Try Me.Cursor = Cursors.WaitCursor dgvAankoopDetails.DataSource = Nothing _clsAankoopDetails.AankoopDetailsID = cboKeuze.SelectedValue dgvAankoopDetails.DataSource = _clsAankoopDetails.GetAankoopDetails Catch ex As Exception MessageBox.Show("An error occurred while trying to fill the data grid: " & ex.Message, "Oops!", MessageBoxButtons.OK) Finally Me.Cursor = Cursors.Default End Try End Sub And finally, this is my stored procedure: (do note that I'm not sure what I'm doing here) USE [Budget] GO /****** Object: StoredProcedure [dbo].[S_AankoopDetails] Script Date: 04/12/2010 03:10:52 ******/ SET ANSI_NULLS ON GO SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON GO ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[S_AankoopDetails] ( @AankoopID int, @ReturnValue int output ) AS declare @Value int set @Value =@@rowcount if @Value = 0 begin SELECT dbo.tblAankoopDetails.AankoopDetailsID, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.AankoopID, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.ArtikelID, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.Aantal, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.Prijs, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.Korting, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.SoortKorting, dbo.tblAankoopDetails.UitgavenDeelGroepID FROM dbo.tblAankoopDetails INNER JOIN dbo.tblAankoop ON dbo.tblAankoopDetails.AankoopID = dbo.tblAankoop.AankoopID INNER JOIN dbo.tblArtikel ON dbo.tblAankoopDetails.ArtikelID = dbo.tblArtikel.ArtikelID INNER JOIN dbo.tblUitgavenDeelGroep ON dbo.tblAankoopDetails.UitgavenDeelGroepID = dbo.tblUitgavenDeelGroep.UitgavenDeelGroepID WHERE dbo.tblAankoopDetails.Deleted = 0 and dbo.tblAankoopDetails.AankoopID = @AankoopID ORDER BY AankoopID if @@rowcount >0 begin set @ReturnValue=999 end else begin set @ReturnValue=997 end end if @Value >0 begin --Dit wil zeggen dat ik een gebruiker wil ingeven die reeds bestaat. (998) set @ReturnValue=998 end Does anyone know what I need to do to resolve this?

  • scala currying by nested functions or by multiple parameter lists

    - by Morgan Creighton
    In Scala, I can define a function with two parameter lists. def myAdd(x :Int)(y :Int) = x + y This makes it easy to define a partially applied function. val plusFive = myAdd(5) _ But, I can accomplish something similar by defining and returning a nested function. def myOtherAdd(x :Int) = { def f(y :Int) = x + y f _ } Cosmetically, I've moved the underscore, but this still feels like currying. val otherPlusFive = myOtherAdd(5) What criteria should I use to prefer one approach over the other?

  • unexpected T_TRY, expecting T_FUNCTION error message, not sure why ?

    - by Rachel
    I am getting unexpected T_TRY, expecting T_FUNCTION error message and am not sure as too why am getting that, can't we use try and catch block inside class like this: class Processor { protected $dao; protected $fin; try { public function __construct($file) { //Open File for parsing. $this->fin = fopen($file,'w+') or die('Cannot open file'); // Initialize the Repository DAO. $this->dao = new Dao('some name'); } public function initiateInserts() { while (($data=fgetcsv($this->fin,5000,";"))!==FALSE) { $initiate_inserts = $this->dao->initiateInserts($data); } } public function initiateCUpdates() { while (($data=fgetcsv($this->fin,5000,";"))!==FALSE) { $initiate_updates = $this->dao->initiateCUpdates($data); } } public function initiateExecuteIUpdates() { while (($data=fgetcsv($this->fin,5000,";"))!==FALSE) { $initiate_updates = $this->dao->initiateIUpdates($data); } } } catch (Exception $e) { } }

  • calling Greasemonkey functions from web page

    - by well son
    Hi Can I call function() of my custom Greasemonkey from my page? For example, I created a GM script that contains do_this() function. I want my-web-site.com call the do_this() function. But I can't. I know, I can by doing unsafeWindow.do_this() but doing so prevents me from calling GM_xmlhttpRequest(). Any ideas?

  • Create date efficiently

    - by Dave Jarvis
    On Pavel's page is the following function: CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION makedate(year int, dayofyear int) RETURNS date AS $$ SELECT (date '0001-01-01' + ($1 - 1) * interval '1 year' + ($2 - 1) * interval '1 day'):: date $$ LANGUAGE sql; I have the following code: makedate(y.year,1) What is the fastest way in PostgreSQL to create a date for January 1st of a given year? Pavel's function would lead me to believe it is: date '0001-01-01' + y.year * interval '1 year' + interval '1 day'; My thought would be more like: to_date( y.year||'-1-1', 'YYYY-MM-DD'); Am looking for the fastest way using PostgreSQL 8.4. (The query that uses the date function can select between 100,000 and 1 million records, so it needs speed.) Thank you!

  • how iterate over class members java (app-engine)

    - by Alexandre H. Tremblay
    Hello, I am using the java version of the google app engine. I would like to create a function that can receive as parameters many types of objects. I would like to print out the members of the object. Each objects may be different and the function must work for all objects. Do I have to use reflection - if so, what kind of code do I need to write? public class dataOrganization { private String name; private String contact; private PostalAddress address; public dataOrganization(){} } public int getObject(Object obj){ // This function prints out the name of every // member of the object, the type and the value // In this example, it would print out "name - String - null", // "contact - String - null" and "address - PostalAddress - null" } How would I write the function getObject?

  • convert pointer to pointer to void pointer

    - by FihopZz
    When I'm learning to use qsort to sort an array of string, there is a question puzzled me. For example, to sort the following s char *s[] = { "Amit", "Garima", "Gaurav", "Vaibhav" }; To use the qsort, you must provide a comparison function like the following function cstring_cmp I guess in the qsort function, the type of parameter to be passed to the function cstring_cmp is char**. How to convert a char** to a void*? Why can we convert a char** to a void*? int cstring_cmp(const void *a, const void *b) { const char **ia = (const char **)a; const char **ib = (const char **)b; return -strcasecmp(*ia, *ib); /* return the negative of the normal comparison */ }

  • Custom Collection Initializers

    - by Jake
    Classes that implement IEnumerable and provide a public void Add(/* args */) function can be initialized like in the following example: List<int> numbers = new List<int>{ 1, 2, 3 }; which calls the Add(int) function 3x after initializing the List<int>. Is there a way to define this behavior explicitly for my own classes? For example, could I have the initializer call a function other than the appropriate Add() overload?

  • Auto detect internal/external development environment

    - by zaf
    We use the following function to auto detect if we are on a machine internally or on a live server and then choose the appropriate configs for various components. function devIsLocal(){ $res=false; $http_host=$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']; if($http_host=='localhost')$res=true; if($http_host=='127.0.0.1')$res=true; if(substr($http_host,-4)=='.lan')$res=true; if(strpos($http_host, '.')===false)$res=true; return($res); } As you can see it only relies on the HTTP_HOST value. Of course, if you have use virtual host locally like example.com then the function will be tricked. Are there any other ways to fool the function? and what other variables/places could we peek at to determine where we are?

  • Multi-Array of XML Requests

    - by sologhost
    OMG, I am in need of a way to set up arrays of XML Requests based on the idShout - 1. So it would be something like this... var req = new Array(); req[idShout - 1] = ALL XML Data... Here's what I got so far but it's not working at all :( var idShout; var req = new Array(); function htmlRequest(url, params, HttpMethod) { req[req.push] = ajax_function(); for (i=0;i<req.length;i++) { if (req[i]) { if (HttpMethod == "GET") { req[i].onreadystatechange = function() { if (req[i].readyState != 4) return; if (req[i].responseText !== null && req[i].status == 200) { document.getElementById("shoutbox_area" + idShout).innerHTML = req[i].responseText; } } } req[i].open(HttpMethod,url,true); if (HttpMethod == "POST") req[i].setRequestHeader("Content-Type", "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); if (params == "") req[i].send(null); else req[i].send(params); return req[i]; } else return null; } } function ajax_function() { var ajax_request = null; try { // Opera 8.0+, Firefox, Safari ajax_request = new XMLHttpRequest(); } catch (e) { // IE Browsers try { ajax_request = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP"); } catch (e) { try { ajax_request = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } catch (e) { //No browser support, rare case return null; } } } return ajax_request; } function send() { var send_data = "shoutmessage=" + document.getElementById("shout_message" + idShout).value; var url = smf_prepareScriptUrl(smf_scripturl) + "action=dreamaction;sa=shoutbox;xml;send_shout="+ idShout; htmlRequest(url, send_data, "POST"); document.getElementById("shout_message" + idShout).value = ""; document.getElementById("shout_message" + idShout).focus(); return true; } function startShouts(refreshRate, shoutCount) { clearInterval(Timer[shoutCount-1]); idShout = shoutCount; show_shouts(); Timer[shoutCount - 1] = setInterval("show_shouts()", refreshRate); return; } function show_shouts() { var url = smf_prepareScriptUrl(smf_scripturl) + "action=dreamaction;sa=shoutbox;xml;get_shouts=" + idShout; htmlRequest(url, "", "GET"); } Any help at all on this would be greatly appreciated... Basically, I'm setting the Timer Arrays in a different function before this, and I call startShouts which is supposed to show all of the information, but startShouts gets called more than once, which is why I have idShout set to equal shoutCount. So it will go something like this: shoutCount = 1, shoutCount = 2, shoutCount = 3, everytime it is being called. So I set the req[idShout - 1] array and it should return the result right?? Well, I get no errors in Firefox in the error console with this code above, but it doesn't work... Any ideas anyone?? As it needs to output into more than 1 area... argg. Thanks for any help you can offer here :) Thanks guys :)

  • How do I catch jQuery $.getJSON (or $.ajax with datatype set to 'jsonp') error when using JSONP?

    - by Andy May
    Is it possible to catch an error when using JSONP with jQuery? I've tried both the $.getJSON and $.ajax methods but neither will catch the 404 error I'm testing. Here is what I've tried (keep in mind that these all work successfully, but I want to handle the case when it fails): jQuery.ajax({ type: "GET", url: handlerURL, dataType: "jsonp", success: function(results){ alert("Success!"); }, error: function(XMLHttpRequest, textStatus, errorThrown){ alert("Error"); } }); And also: jQuery.getJSON(handlerURL + "&callback=?", function(jsonResult){ alert("Success!"); }); I've also tried adding the $.ajaxError but that didn't work either: jQuery(document).ajaxError(function(event, request, settings){ alert("Error"); }); Thanks in advance for any replies!

  • Python: load variables in a dict into namespace

    I want to use a bunch of local variables defined in a function, outside of the function, so I am passing x=locals() as a return value. How can I load all the variables defined in that dictionary into the namespace outside the function, so that instead of accessing the value using x['variable'], I could simply use variable.

  • R: How to tell lapply to ignore an error and process the next thing in the list?

    - by John
    I have an example function below that reads in a date as a string and returns it as a date object. If it reads a string that it cannot convert to a date, it returns an error. testFunction <- function (date_in) { return(as.Date(date_in)) } testFunction("2010-04-06") # this works fine testFunction("foo") # this returns an error Now, I want to use lapply and apply this function over a list of dates: dates1 = c("2010-04-06", "2010-04-07", "2010-04-08") lapply(dates1, testFunction) # this works fine But if I want to apply the function over a list when one string in the middle of two good dates returns an error, what is the best way to deal with this? dates2 = c("2010-04-06", "foo", "2010-04-08") lapply(dates2, testFunction) I presume that I want a try catch in there, but is there a way to catch the error for the "foo" string whilst asking lapply to continue and read the third date?

  • Javascript closures with google geocoder

    - by DaNieL
    Hi all, i still have some problems with javascript closures, and input/output variables. Im playing with google maps api for a no profit project: users will place the marker into a gmap, and I have to save the locality (with coordinates) in my db. The problem comes when i need to do a second geocode in order to get a unique pairs of lat and lng for a location: lets say two users place the marker in the same town but in different places, I dont want to have the same locality twice in the database with differents coords. I know i can do the second geocode after the user select the locality, but i want to understand what am i mistaking here: // First geocoding, take the marker coords to get locality. geocoder.geocode( { 'latLng': new google.maps.LatLng($("#lat").val(), $("#lng").val()), 'language': 'it' }, function(results_1, status_1){ // initialize the html var inside this closure var html = ''; if(status_1 == google.maps.GeocoderStatus.OK) { // do stuff here for(i = 0, geolen = results_1[0].address_components.length; i != geolen) { // Second type of geocoding: for each location from the first geocoding, // i want to have a unique [lat,lan] geocoder.geocode( { 'address': results_1[0].address_components[i].long_name }, function(results_2, status_2){ // Here come the problem. I need to have the long_name here, and // 'html' var should increment. coords = results_2[0].geometry.location.toUrlValue(); html += 'some html to let the user choose the locality'; } ); } // Finally, insert the 'html' variable value into my dom... //but it never gets updated! } else { alert("Error from google geocoder:" + status_1) } } ); I tryed with: // Second type of geocoding: for each location from the first geocoding, i want // to have a unique [lat,lan] geocoder.geocode( { 'address': results_1[0].address_components[i].long_name }, (function(results_2, status_2, long_name){ // But in this way i'll never get results_2 or status_2, well, results_2 // get long_name value, status_2 and long_name is undefined. // However, html var is correctly updated. coords = results_2[0].geometry.location.toUrlValue(); html += 'some html to let the user choose the locality'; })(results_1[0].address_components[i].long_name) ); And with: // Second type of geocoding: for each location from the first geocoding, i want to have // a unique [lat,lan] geocoder.geocode( { 'address': results_1[0].address_components[i].long_name }, (function(results_2, status_2, long_name){ // But i get an obvious "results_2 is not defined" error (same for status_2). coords = results_2[0].geometry.location.toUrlValue(); html += 'some html to let the user choose the locality, that can be more than one'; })(results_2, status_2, results_1[0].address_components[i].long_name) ); Any suggestion? EDIT: My problem is how to pass an additional arguments to the geocoder inner function: function(results_2, status_2, long_name){ //[...] } becose if i do that with a clousure, I mess with the original parameters (results_2 and status_2)

  • D callbacks in C functions

    - by Caspin
    I am writing D2 bindings for Lua. This is in one of the Lua header files. typedef int (*lua_CFunction) (lua_State *L); I assume the equivalent D2 statement would be: extern(C) alias int function( lua_State* L ) lua_CFunction; Lua also provides an api function: void lua_pushcfunction( lua_State* L, string name, lua_CFunction func ); If I want to push a D2 function does it have to be extern(C) or can I just use the function? int dfunc( lua_State* L ) { std.stdio.writeln("dfunc"); } extern(C) int cfunc( lua_State* L ) { std.stdio.writeln("cfunc"); } lua_State* L = lua_newstate(); lua_pushcfunction(L, "cfunc", &cfunc); //This will definitely work. lua_pushcfunction(L, "dfunc", &dfunc); //Will this work? If I can only use cfunc, why? I don't need to do anything like that in C++. I can just pass the address of a C++ function to C and everything just works.

  • Delphi: Fast(er) widestring concatenation

    - by Ian Boyd
    i have a function who's job is to convert an ADO Recordset into html: class function RecordsetToHtml(const rs: _Recordset): WideString; And the guts of the function involves a lot of wide string concatenation: while not rs.EOF do begin Result := Result+CRLF+ '<TR>'; for i := 0 to rs.Fields.Count-1 do Result := Result+'<TD>'+VarAsString(rs.Fields[i].Value)+'</TD>'; Result := Result+'</TR>'; rs.MoveNext; end; With a few thousand results, the function takes, what any user would feel, is too long to run. The Delphi Sampling Profiler shows that 99.3% of the time is spent in widestring concatenation (@WStrCatN and @WstrCat). Can anyone think of a way to improve widestring concatenation? i don't think Delphi 5 has any kind of string builder. And Format doesn't support Unicode. And to make sure nobody tries to weasel out: pretend you are implementing the interface: IRecordsetToHtml = interface(IUnknown) function RecordsetToHtml(const rs: _Recordset): WideString; end; Update One I thought of using an IXMLDOMDocument, to build up the HTML as xml. But then i realized that the final HTML would be xhtml and not html - a subtle, but important, difference. • when updating location.hash in Chrome the jQuery animation "freezes" for a second

    - by ubunut
    I'm trying to create a sort of "virtual gallery". I'm using Coda Slider 2.0 & jQuery v1.4.2 It behaves perfectly in IE, FF & Safari, but Chrome seems to reload/hang for a second when setting location.hash. This causes the jQuery animation to freeze for a second :S Example: http://hardyernst.dk/gallery.html try clicking on the navigation links above the pictures. The jQuery code that is being executed when clicking a navigation link: $('#coda-nav-' + sliderCount + ' a').each(function(z) { // What happens when a nav link is clicked $(this).bind("click", function() { offset = -(panelWidth*z); navClicks++; $(this).addClass('current').parents('ul').find('a').not($(this)).removeClass('current'); alterPanelHeight(z); currentPanel = z + 1; $('.panel-container', slider).stop().animate({ left: offset }, settings.slideEaseDuration, settings.slideEaseFunction, function(){ if (!settings.crossLinking) { return false; } // Don't change the URL hash unless cross-linking is specified }); }); }); if I add return false; at the end of the function. The animation will slide smoothly :)... BUT as you might have guessed the location.hash value remains unchanged :( I have tried setting the location.hash earlier in the function alas it did not change the behavior in Chrome Would be immensely grateful for any help :) Regards Ubunut

  • dynamic date formats in eyecon's Bootstrap Datepicker

    - by Jennifer Michelle
    I need to update my datepickers' date format (mm.dd.yyyy etc) using a select box. I am currently using Eyecon's Bootstrap Datepicker because it had the smallest files size that I could find (8k minified), and includes the date formats I need. I also tried to trigger date format changes in several other datepickers without any success. Fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/Yshy7/8/ Is there an obvious way to trigger a change from the select box to the datepickers? //date format var dateFormat = $('#custom_date_format').val() || "mm/dd/yyyy"; $('#custom_date_format').change(function() { var dateFormat = $(this).val(); }); //start and end dates var nowTemp = new Date(); var now = new Date(nowTemp.getFullYear(), nowTemp.getMonth(), nowTemp.getDate(), 0, 0, 0, 0); var checkin = $('.j-start-date').datepicker({ format: dateFormat, onRender: function(date) { //return date.valueOf() < now.valueOf() ? 'disabled' : ''; } }).on('changeDate', function(ev) { if (ev.date.valueOf() > checkout.date.valueOf()) { var newDate = new Date(ev.date) newDate.setDate(newDate.getDate()); checkout.setValue(newDate); } checkin.hide(); $('.j-end-date')[0].focus(); }).data('datepicker'); var checkout = $('.j-end-date').datepicker({ format: dateFormat, onRender: function(date) { return date.valueOf() <= checkin.date.valueOf() ? 'disabled' : ''; } }).on('changeDate', function(ev) { checkout.hide(); }).data('datepicker');

  • Problem with jQuery.ajax with 'delete' method in ie

    - by Max Williams
    I have a page where the user can edit various content using buttons and selects that trigger ajax calls. In particular, one action causes a url to be called remotely, with some data and a 'put' request, which (as i'm using a restful rails backend) triggers my update action. I also have a delete button which calls the same url but with a 'delete' request. The 'update' ajax call works in all browsers but the 'delete' one doesn't work in IE. I've got a vague memory of encountering something like this before...can anyone shed any light? here's my ajax calls: //update action - works in all browsers jQuery.ajax({ async:true, data:data, dataType:'script', type:'put', url:"/quizzes/"+quizId+"/quiz_questions/"+quizQuestionId, success: function(msg){ initializeQuizQuestions(); setPublishButtonStatus(); } }); //delete action - fails in ie function deleteQuizQuestion(quizQuestionId, quizId){ //send ajax call to back end to change the difficulty of the quiz question //back end will then refresh the relevant parts of the page (progress bars, flashes, quiz status) jQuery.ajax({ async:true, dataType:'script', type:'delete', url:"/quizzes/"+quizId+"/quiz_questions/"+quizQuestionId, success: function(msg){ alert("success"); initializeQuizQuestions(); setSelectStatus(quizQuestionId, true); jQuery("tr[id*='quiz_question_"+quizQuestionId+"']").removeClass('selected'); }, error: function(msg){ alert("error:" + msg); } }); } I put the alerts in success and error in the delete ajax just to see what happens, and the 'error' part of the ajax call is triggered, but WITH NO CALL BEING MADE TO THE BACK END (i know this by watching my back end server logs). So, it fails before it even makes the call. I can't work out why - the 'msg' i get back from the error block is blank. Any ideas anyone? Is this a known problem? I've tested it in ie6 and ie8 and it doesn't work in either. thanks - max EDIT - the solution - thanks to Nick Craver for pointing me in the right direction. Rails (and maybe other frameworks?) has a subterfuge for the unsupported put and delete requests: a post request with the parameter "_method" (note the underscore) set to 'put' or 'delete' will be treated as if the actual request type was that string. So, in my case, i made this change - note the 'data' option': jQuery.ajax({ async:true, data: {"_method":"delete"}, dataType:'script', type:'post', url:"/quizzes/"+quizId+"/quiz_questions/"+quizQuestionId, success: function(msg){ alert("success"); initializeQuizQuestions(); setSelectStatus(quizQuestionId, true); jQuery("tr[id*='quiz_question_"+quizQuestionId+"']").removeClass('selected'); }, error: function(msg){ alert("error:" + msg); } }); } Rails will now treat this as if it were a delete request, preserving the REST system. The reason my PUT example worked was just because in this particular case IE was happy to send a PUT request, but it officially does not support them so it's best to do this for PUT requests as well as DELETE requests.

  • mcrypt_decrypt return strange code

    - by Jin Yong
    I tried to encrypt an array then decrypt it back to string by calling a function, it's seem return the correct value if I does all encrypt and decrypt at once time in the function, however, if I return the encrypt value, then call the function again to decrypt it will return me some strange code. Exmaple: public main() { $dataArray = array("one"=>1, "two"=>2, "three"=>3); $a = $this->encryptDecryptInfo(json_encode($dataArray),$this->key); var_dump($a); } public function encryptDecryptInfo($text,$key) { $iv = mcrypt_create_iv(mcrypt_get_iv_size(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, $text= base64_encode(mcrypt_encrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, $key, $text, MCRYPT_MODE_CFB, $iv)); return mcrypt_decrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, $key, base64_decode($text), MCRYPT_MODE_CFB, $iv); } This will return me the correct value which is string(27) "{"one":1,"two":2,"three":3}" Exmaple 2: public main() { $dataArray = array("one"=>1, "two"=>2, "three"=>3); $a = $this->encryptDecryptInfo(json_encode($dataArray),$this->key,"encrypt"); $b = $this->encryptDecryptInfo($a,$this->key,"decrypt"); var_dump($b); } public function encryptDecryptInfo($text,$key,$type) { $iv = mcrypt_create_iv(mcrypt_get_iv_size(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, MCRYPT_MODE_CFB), MCRYPT_RAND); if($type == "encrypt") return base64_encode(mcrypt_encrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, $key, $text, MCRYPT_MODE_CFB, $iv)); else return mcrypt_decrypt(MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256, $key, base64_decode($text), MCRYPT_MODE_CFB, $iv); } However if I do my code in this way, it will return me strange value which is like this string(27) "?ÔérôŸY éXgíœÈÐN*é౜CµÖ" .Deos anyone know why this is happen?

  • jQuery Validation error...

    - by Povylas
    Hi, I have been struggling with this jQuery Validation Plugin. Here is the code: <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { var validator = $('#signup').validate({ errorElement: 'span', rules: { username: { required: true, minlenght: 6 //remote: "check-username.php" }, password: { required: true, minlength: 5 }, confirm_password: { required: true, minlength: 5, equalTo: "#password" }, email: { required: true, email: true }, agree: "required" }, messages: { username: { required: "Please enter a username", minlength: "Your username must consist of at least 6 characters" //remote: "Somenoe have already chosen nick like this." }, password: { required: "Please provide a password", minlength: "Your password must be at least 5 characters long" }, confirm_password: { required: "Please provide a password", minlength: "Your password must be at least 5 characters long", equalTo: "Please enter the same password as above" }, email: "Please enter a valid email address", agree: "Please accept our policy" } }); var root = $("#wizard").scrollable({size: 1, clickable: false}); // some variables that we need var api = root.scrollable(); $("#data").click(function() { validator.form(); }); // validation logic is done inside the onBeforeSeek callback api.onBeforeSeek(function(event, i) { if($("#signup").valid() == false){ return false; }else{ return true; } $("#status li").removeClass("active").eq(i).addClass("active"); }); //if tab is pressed on the next button seek to next page root.find("button.next").keydown(function(e) { if (e.keyCode == 9) { // seeks to next tab by executing our validation routine api.next(); e.preventDefault(); } }); $('button.fin').click(function(){ parent.$.fn.fancybox.close() }); }); </script> And here is the error: $.validator.methods[method] is undefined http://www.vvv.vhost.lt/js/jquery-validate/jquery.validate.min.js Line 15 I am completely confused... Maybe some kind of handler is needed? I would be grateful for any kind of answer.
