  • CodeContracts: How to fullfill Require in Ctor using this() call?

    I'm playing around with Microsoft's CodeContracts and encountered a problem I was unable to solve. I've got a class with two constructors: public Foo (public float f) { Contracts.Require(f > 0); } public Foo (int i) : this ((float)i) {} The example is simplified. I don't know how to check the second constructor's f for being 0. Is this even possible with Contracts?

    I am trying to make a simple animation using JQuery. I have tried adding the script externally(external file) and internally(within script tags). I have testing if the page is recognizing the script using the alert function, but the script is not executing. But after showing 3 only return true is getting executed and the form is getting submitted. How to stop form submitting before running the script. Can someone explain to me whats going on, I think it might be a syntax issue.

    I like using clang with vim. The one problem that I always have is that whenever I include boost, clang goes through boost library every time I put "." after a an object name. It takes 5-10 seconds. Since I don't make changes to boost headers, is there a way to cache the search through boost? If not, is there a way to remove boost from the auto-completion search? update (1) in response to answer by adaszko after :let g:clang_use_library = 1 I type a name of a variable. I press ^N.     I am having a problem figuring how to check a string for the same characters in a row then count that same character in a row then printing it out then giving the location of the last occorance of that character count then printing it out then moving to the next character in the string that is different then the previous character and the program is case sensitive. So the input could be: aaaaAAAbbbddccc How would I compress this string to: a4A3b3d2c3 ? and then decompress it?

    I am evaluating user inputs as commands for my application. If the user presses Q, or q, and then hits enter, the application quits and execution terminates. Is there a proper context, or best practices on how to do that? I do not have any resources to release, or anything like that. Should I just use System.exit(0);? Is there a recommended way to do that?   • MS Access Crashed an now all Form objects and code modules are missing

    I was adding a form to our Access 07 db. I copied an existing form to use as a template, renamed it, and saved it. I opened a different form to check something and Access crashed. When I reopened the database it says: "Access has detected that this database is in an inconsistent state, and will attempt to recover the database." etc. When it reopened - all forms and reports were missing. Saved queries remain. The error message states that object recovery failures will be noted in a Recovery Errors table - but this table wasn't created. The links to the be database remained intact. The database is split - I was experimenting with a form on a front-end copy which might have something to do with it. Any ideas what would cause this (I can see loosing recent work - but nixing all form objects?!) And is there any chance of recovery?

  • Problem running firefox built from source (on Ubuntu 9.10)

    The title of the question sums it up pretty well. I've downloaded the source for firefox 3.6 and built it (no errors), but when I try to run it, I get a warning that says: (firefox-bin:2857): GLib-WARNING **: g_set_prgname() called multiple times I'm not sure what to try now. Any suggestions? Or even a better place to ask this question? *EDIT - It's not that I only get a warning, that wouldn't bother me. The problem is that the warning is the only thing that ever happens (no firefox windows show up or anything). When I run it from the terminal, that warning shows up twice and then nothing else happens (it just hangs and I have to Ctrl-C it).

I haven't posted any source here, as you can freely see all that is there on the link. :-) Statement:I have a web page at http://agrimgupta.com/antaragni/ Disclaimer: Pardon me for the pathetic coding on that page. ;-) It was done on a very short interval. Improvements will be done at a later stage. Observation: This page is functioning normally on my localhost on all browsers. Problem: IE 8 is crawling (nearly hanging) while loading this page from the website. Although it is working fine on localhost. When on the website, It fails to render the mouseover effects, doing them in almost what seems like a minute. Question: How to resolve this stuck up of IE? It is necessary to resolve this.
