The very best for me would be an firefox/ie addon with an API accessible via javascript. Example: URL, Coordinates, Filename http://foo.com/project/show/33; rectangle:10,10,50,50; myapp-area1.jpg http://foo.com/project/show/33; rectangle:100,100,150,150; myapp-area2.jpg

  • Remove characters with regex in c#

    - by Rise_against
Hello all, I am not a regex specialist, so I need some help with this. I have a text file, and I need to remove some trailing delimiters. The text file looks like this: MSH|^~\&|OAZIS||||20101029135359||ADT^A31|00000015|P|2.3.1||||||ASCII EVN|A31|20101029135359^^^^||||19900101 So I think the best way is to do a Regex replace? Can anyone help me with this regex? I want to remove all ^ that come before a | So test^A^^| has to become test^A| Thanks

  • C# integer primary key generation using Entity Framework with local database file (Sdf)

    - by Ronny
Hello, I'm writing a standalone application and I thought using Entity Framework to store my data. At the moment the application is small so I can use a local database file to get started. The thing is that the local database file doesn't have the ability to auto generate integer primary keys as SQL Server does. Any suggestions how to manage primary keys for entities in a local database file that will be compatible with SQL Server in the future? Thanks, Ronny

  • glib on Symbian S60

    - by PulpFiction
Hello, I am interested in porting a C library that depends on glib to Symbian. After some research, I found that there is a Symbian port of glib. However I can't seem to find much documentation about it. Can anyone point me to the right direction as to whether this can be even done or not? If yes, how.

  • How to pass the 'argument-line' of one PowerShell function to another?

    - by jwfearn
I'm trying to write some PowerShell functions that do some stuff and then transparently call through to existing built-in function. I want to pass along all the arguments untouched. I don't want to have to know any details of the arguments. I tired using 'splat' to do this with @args but that didn't work as I expected. In the example below, I've written a toy function called myls which supposed to print hello! and then call the same built-in function, Get-ChildItem, that the built-in alias ls calls with the rest of the argument line intact. What I have so far works pretty well: function myls { Write-Output "hello!" Invoke-Expression("Get-ChildItem "+$MyInvocation.UnboundArguments -join " ") } A correct version of myls should be able to handle being called with no arguments, with one argument, with named arguments, from a line containing multiple semi-colon delimited commands, and with variables in the arguments including string variables containing spaces. The tests below compare myls and the builtin ls: [NOTE: output elided and/or compacted to save space] PS> md C:\p\d\x, C:\p\d\y, C:\p\d\"jay z" PS> cd C:\p\d PS> ls # no args PS> myls # pass PS> cd .. PS> ls d # one arg PS> myls d # pass PS> $a="A"; $z="Z"; $y="y"; $jz="jay z" PS> $a; ls d; $z # multiple statements PS> $a; myls d; $z # pass PS> $a; ls d -Exclude x; $z # named args PS> $a; myls d -Exclude x; $z # pass PS> $a; ls d -Exclude $y; $z # variables in arg-line PS> $a; myls d -Exclude $y; $z # pass PS> $a; ls d -Exclude $jz; $z # variables containing spaces in arg-line PS> $a; myls d -Exclude $jz; $z # FAIL! Is there a way I can re-write myls to get the behavior I want?

    - by Harm De Weirdt
Hello everyone. In a Latex Report I am making I have to write a regex. There is only one in the whole report, so I don't really want to use packages and so on. This is the regex I am talking about: ^\"((\w|\s)+)\"$ I came up with this for Latex: \grave{ }\backslash\"'((\backslash w\| \backslash s)+)\backslash \"' \backslash \$ This gives me like 10 errors, and I can't really see what is wrong. Okay, it looks pretty bad but all the commands should work.. Thanks in advance, Harm

  • agility of asp.net MVC

    - by Hellnar
Hello I am wondering how agile (fast to develop yet stable) asp.net MVC compared to frameworks using dynamic languages such as Django or Ruby on Rails. I will be happy if you share you experiance in the name of development speed (assuming each language/framework is known at a similar level) Things I love about Django Fast model design thanks to ORM Good template system Not too hard to deploy Easy to extend Lots of free apps to plugin and great documentation Thanks
