  I'm trying to extract the mileage value from different ebay pages but I'm stuck as there seem to be too many patterns because the pages are a bit different . Therefore I would like to know if you can help me with a better pattern . • Jquery - Get all other menus to slide up

  I have a drop down menu made with Jquery. Right now, if you hover over all the menu items, their submenus will all show at the same time. I would like that if I hover over one menu, then go to the next, that the previous menu's submenu will slide back up. As it is now, I have to hover out of the submenus for them to slide up.   Hi Everyone, I was wondering if someone could do me massive favour.. I really don't understand how to make use of API's - so I was wondering if, using Basecamp as an example, someone could talk me though the basics. So far I have an application with a dashboard controller/view, I have put basecamp.rb into my /lib directory, added the following to my application_controller: def basecamp_connect Basecamp.establish_connection!('XXXXXX.basecamphq.com', 'USER', 'PASS', false) @basecamp = Basecamp.new end Obviously changing the required parts to my credentials. Next up I have added the following to my dashboard_controller: def index Basecamp::TodoList.find(:all) end Next I presume I have to somehow list the Todo's on the dashboard using some sort of loop. Am I doing the right thing, if so - how on earth do I display all the todo items and if not - what am I doing wrong/missing. It doesn't have to be todo's, anything from basecamp or any other popular API service would be a good start. It's just that I happen to have a basecamp account! Thanks, Danny

Am I missing a obvious step?

If a task has ([A-Z]) next to, that defines the task's priority.   Hello. I would like to stream videos that reside at the webserver from within a ExpressionMediaPlayer control. The following results in a network error. I believe that the problem is with my Uri. I have the videos inside the 'ClentBin' folder. • Is there a workaround to Safari's/Opera's bug that you can't tab through hyperlinks?

  In IE, Firefox, Chrome and most Windows-based interfaces that I've used, the Tab key can be used to navigate from one form field or hyperlink to the next (e.g. "actionable" items) (note: I have not tested on other Operating Systems) However Safari and Opera skip all hyperlinks in a web page when tabbing. IMHO its a usability bug but I digress. Is there a workaround/hack to make Safari and/or Opera navigate through these links? I've noticed that Opera will accept the tabindex attribute if set e.g. tabindex="0" thus maintaining the links "index" within the flow of the DOM on the page... but Safari does not want to accept this. For those interested, this bit of jQuery will make all the hyperlinks clickable. //Make links 'tab-able' in Opera $(document).ready(function(){ if($.browser.opera){ $('a[href]').attr('tabindex', 0); } }); ...and although this seems to work for Opera... is there a better workaround?

• Hiding UIToolBar for child views of UITableViewController

  My main controller is a subclass of UITableViewController with a UIToolBar at the bottom and when a row is selected, I'd like to display another view without the toolbar. How can I hide the UIToolBar in the child view? Right now, it's present throughout all child views unless they're created as modal. • SharePoint web part not displaying for site readers

  Hello - I've built a custom SharePoint 2010 web part and deployed it to the home page of a publishing site. It's a very simple web part that just displays items from a SP list in a drop down list. The web part works fine if I'm logged in as a site owner or a member but not if I'm just a reader. The web part doesn't render at all to readers. I don't get any of the web part chrome or title, just nothing. I have other web parts (out-of-box ones) in the same zone that are displaying fine so it's not an issue of the whole zone not displaying. As a reader, I can still view the list directly so it doesn't appear to be a problem with list permissions. My web parts are being deployed as a farm solution, not sand-boxed and the assembly is being deployed to the GAC. I feel like I must be missing something simple here but I'm stumped. Help.

  I've got a ListActivity and ListView and I've bound some data to it. The data shows up fine, and I've also registered a context menu for the view. • How to make an NSOutlineView indent multiple columns?

  What would be the easiest or recommended way for making an NSOutlineView indent multiple columns? By default, it only indents the outline column; and as far as I know there is no built-in support for making it indent other columns. I have an NSOutlineView which shows a comparison between two sets of hierarchical data. For visual appeal, if some item in the outline column is indented, I'd like to indent the item on the same row in another column by the same indentation amount. (There's also a third column which shows the result of comparing the two items, this column should never be indented.) Can this only be achieved by subclassing NSOutlineView? And what would need to be overridden in the subclass? Or is there an easier way to get it to indent multiple columns?

• Joining Multiple Projects in one solution

  I have started creating a game, and I added a second project, it's the standard XNA Windows game 3.1 project, and since the other project already had a Main to start the program and the 2nd is for game data, where as the first was for the drawing and graphical side of things (menu's etc) I thought I would remove the Main method, and now all I get are Errors saying there isn't a Valid main method, I tried to make it dependant on the other (since this data is loaded at run time and is such as quests/items etc) but it still wont let me run the solution at all. the code for the main method is still in the 1st project, and if I delete the 2nd project it runs fine, although no game data so I only get menus... • PyQt: How to keep QTreeView nodes correctly expanded after a sort

  I'm writing a simple test program using QTreeModel and QTreeView for a more complex project later on. In this simple program, I have data in groups which may be contracted or expanded, as one would expect in a QTreeView. The data may also be sorted by the various data columns (QTreeView.setSortingEnabled is True). Each tree item is a list of data, so the sort function implemented in the TreeModel class uses the built-in python list sort: self.layoutAboutToBeChanged.emit() self.rootItem.childItems.sort(key=lambda x: x.itemData[col], reverse=order) for item in self.rootItem.childItems: item.childItems.sort(key=lambda x: x.itemData[col], reverse=order) self.layoutChanged.emit() The problem is that whenever I change the sorting of the root's child items (the tree is only 2 levels deep, so this is the only level with children) the nodes aren't necessarily expanded as they were before. If I change the sorting back without expanding or collapsing anything, the nodes are expanded as before the sorting change. Can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? I suspect it's something with not properly reassigning QModelIndex with the sorted nodes, but I'm not sure.

  I am trying to lower the amount of queries that my django app is using, but I am a little confused on how to do it. I would like to get a query set with one hit to the database and then filter items from that set. I have tried a couple of things, but I always get queries for each set. let's say I want to get all names from my DB, but also separate out the people just named Ted. Both the names and the ted set will be used in the template. This will give me two sets, one with all names and one with Ted.. but also hits the database twice: namelist = People.objects.all() tedList = namelist.filter(name='ted') Is there a way to filter the first set without hitting the data base again?

• How can I block based on URL (from address bar) in a safari extension

  I'm trying to write an extension that will block access to (configurable) list of URLs if they are accessed more than N times per hour. From what I understand, I need to have a start script pass a "should I load this" message to a global HTML page (who can access the settings object to get the list of URLs), who will give a thumbs up/thumbs down message back to the start script to deny/allow loading. That works out fine for me, but when I use the usual beforeLoad/canLoad handlers, I get messages for all the sub-items that need to be loaded (images/etc..), which screws up the #accesses/hour limit I'm trying to make. Is there a way to synchronously pass messages back and forth between the two sandboxes so I can tell the global HTML page, "this is the URL in the window bar and the timestamp for when this request came in", so I can limit duplicate requests? I put a breakpoint into the ChangeValue sub but anything happens. I read on some post that handler for the first DropDownList is not necessary but, how is it possible to tell DropDownList to call my sub after changevalue? • How to fix weird scrolling/alignment behavior when using keyboard in MenuStrip?

  I started noticing strange behavior when navigating the main toolbar of my Winforms application, and I don't know how to fix it. When I initially open the dropdown of the File menu, it looks like this: I begin to scroll down each item with the arrow keys, and everything is fine until I reach "Exit". As soon as I hit the down arrow key from "Log Off", or if I hit the up arrow key from "Open", the menu rearranges itself to look like this: I'm puzzled by this behavior. The menu still works, and from this point, if I start scrolling up, I can get the arrangement back to normal: A few observations: The menu still works. This doesn't happen when using the mouse. I have some code that toggles the Visible property of some of the menu items. I was able to modify what the arrangement was by playing around with this, but it was still messed up. Can anyone help me understand what is going on, and how to fix it?

  I'm in need of a list of weak references that deletes items when they die. Currently the only way I have of doing this is to keep flushing the list (removing dead references manually). I'm aware there's a WeakKeyDictionary and a WeakValueDictionary, but I'm really after a WeakList, is there a way of doing this?   I'm trying to create a SVN Eclipese EFS plugin and have problems when getting the names of entries. When I make a call to: SVNRepository `//Fetches the contents of a directory into the provided collection object and returns the directory entry itself. SVNDirEntry getDir(String path, long revision, boolean includeCommitMessages, Collection entries)` It correctly returns the entry for the provided path, however, it doesn't set the "name" value on the "returned" entry. Note, the items returned in the collection are all OK. Does anyone know why this is? And/or if there is a workaround? • Debugging nth-child selector

  I have the following selectors: .progress:nth-child(3n+1) { background: teal; } .progress:nth-child(3n+2) { background: red; } .progress:nth-child(3n+3) { background: blue; } However all of the items end up with a teal background. Are these selectors correct? I'm thinking I should get: Teal (every 3, starting with 1) Red (every 3, starting with 2) Blue (every 3, starting with 3) etc. I've tested on Firefox 3.5.8 and Opera 10.10 on Ubuntu. Also tested with nothing but these rules in the CSS. I'm using the YUI Reset stylesheet but excluding it does nothing.

  Hi, I made a custom list adapter extending the Base adapter. Each item in the list has an imagebutton, 2 textviews and a button. I tried to add the context menu to the list so as to display some options for an item in the list. registerForContextMenu(getListView()); I used a MenuInflater object to inflate the context menu xml file. But on clicking the items in the list nothing shows up or the usual highlighting of the item of list on click isn't shown. Is it that the context menu doesn't work for custom list views? The expression I've tried is to set the row visibility to: =IIF(isnothing(First(Fields!NEW_PRICEBREAKS.Value, "QuoteDetail")),true,false) When I run the query from the dataset "Null" returns for NEW_PRICEBREAKS for most of the records. Also, when I expanded the row with another column with this expression: =IIF(isnothing(First(Fields!NEW_PRICEBREAKS.Value, "QuoteDetail")),"is nothing","not nothing") I see "not nothing" repeated over and over again. I've attempted to use TRIM inside of the isnothing to remove spaces and it still doesn't work. Also, the sql data type for NEW_PRICEBREAKS is nvarchar(MAX). Any ideas how I can suppress this row correctly?
