• How to intercept an Exit event for a Windows Form in VB?

  When a user clicks on the little red "x" a.k.a. the form close button on the form command bar, what even is activated besides FormClosed() I know FormClosing() is called, but I cannot really stop the form from closing after my code is run. I want to be able to show a messagebox that asks if the user wants to exit the form or not. Obviously if they click no, I want the form to stay open, how would I do this?

Is this possible without the browser popping up a warning? When I do this on IE8, I get the following message: Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? • asp.net external form loading into jquery dialog submit button issue

  I am loading an external file 'contact_us.aspx' into a jquery dialog box. the external page contains a form. When the submit button is pressed it closes the dialog box and changes the page to contact_us.aspx. is my code correct or is there a different way of doing this. see my code below, thanks. • I can't get onChange to fire for dijit.form.Select

  I seem unable to correctly attach the onchange event to a dijit.form.Select widget. However, I am new to web development, so I could be doing something completely idiotic (although, as best I can tell (and I've read all the docs I could find) I'm not). I made sure the body class matches the dojo theme, that I dojo.require() for all the widgets I use (and dojo.parser), and still, nada. The code I'm using is: dojo.addOnLoad (function () { var _query = dojo.query('.toggle'); for (var i=0; i < _query.length; i++) { dojo.connect(_query[i], 'onchange', function (ev) { console.log(ev + ' fired onchange'); }); } }); Any help at all would be appreciated.

Now, the problem I'm experiencing is that I can't get the submit buttons to look normally again. I could ofcourse remove the input from the list and be done with it, but I'd like to know how to get it back, since I might need that in the future.

  If I'm on a route alias such as /register and I have a form error and I render :new, is it possible for the path to be /register still? At the moment it is rendering /new I could do a redirect_to register_path but then I would lose the params?   Hi, Im learning rails and exploring a bit away from the book and creating a simple application with added functionality as i increase my knowledge. Im writing a simple blog application and i have a field in the form called date added, i don't want this to be a field i want it to get the date from the server and place it in to the database automatically. How would i go about doing this? I was thinking of a hidden field but then unsure on how to process the date and insert it to the hidden field. Is this the wrong way of going about things?   I'm creating a web app (locally, so security doesn't matter) in PHP where the user uploads a set of information and a small .jpeg, which is then inserted into a mySQL table. I can do this no problem with all the text data, but I'm not sure how to cause the image to upload alongside it. I assume I will have to use the blob data type and input type="file", but I fooled around with that a little bit and the solution doesn't seem to be an intuitive extension of how input type="text" works. Do I need to do a lot more PHP scripting to get this to work? Is it possible to upload an image with a form, or is there a necessary intermediate step?

  Hi, I'm trying to create a C# form app that will allow me to use all of my previous C++ programs from one central program. I'm able to open the exes with Process.start, however it does not compile the code correctly. Example code: Process.Start("C:\\Documents and Settings\\dan\\Desktop\\test.exe"); This will bring up the console and act like it's running, but it does not run like when I normally compile out of the C++ editor. Is there a startinfo variable I need to set to signify that it's a c++ program or something along that line? Also, is there any way to execute a C++ program using process.start that will allow me to pass it variables through the command line via argc and argv? Thanks

I have two questions to ask: First, are there any example applications out there using Rails + MongoMapper + EmbeddedDocument? Preferably on GitHub or some other similar site so that I can take a look at the source and see where I am supposed to head? If not ... ... what is the best way to approach this task? How would I go about creating a form to handle an embedded document. What I am attempting to do is add addresses to users. I can toss up the two models in question if you would like. In the add view it works just fine. But the edit view renders the OptionsAndFeatures as blank.
