• plugin from github not successfully installing

  Hey all, I tried to install the highcharts-rails plugin from github as specified in the instructions: Installation Get the plugin: script/plugin install git://github.com/loudpixel/highcharts-rails.git Run the rake setup: rake highcharts_rails:install But when I run the script/plugin install... It installs a couple of files only and not all the required files, I presume, because when I run rake highcharts_rails:install I get the following: rake aborted!   I often find myself wanting to change just something little in a colorscheme, but i don't want to edit the original file. I tried putting my change in '~/.vim/after/colors/blah.vim', but that doesn't work for me. Example, I want to change the CursorLine highlight in BusyBee.vim.. ~/.vim/colors/BusyBee.vim I create the file '~/.vim/after/colors/BusyBee.vim' and add this: hi CursorLine guibg=#000000 ctermbg=Black cterm=none However, i don't see the change. Of course it works if i change the line in the originial BusyBee.vim, but like i said i'd prefer not to do that. Doing... :colo Busy<TAB> Shows me... BusyBee BusyBee

  I am using Ruby on Rails 3 and I would like to make to work HTTPS connections on localhost. I am using: Apache v2 + Phusion Passenger Mac OS + Snow Leopard v10.6.6 My Ruby on Rails installation use the Typhoeus gem (it is possible to use the Ruby net\http library but the result doesn't change) to make HTTP requests over HTTPS. • Passenger: RailsBaseURI case sensitive?

  I used Passenger to deploy a RoR app to a sub URI on my domain. The problem I'm facing is that the sub URI seems to be case sensitive. Navigating to http://mydomain.com/RailsApp resolves fine. However, if I go to http://mydomain.com/railsapp, http://mydomain.com/railsApp, or any other variation, I get a 404 error. How can these requests using different casings get resolved correctly? I want return success only if both the transactions succeeds. Say if password change succeeds and unlock fails i cannot send success or failure. So i want to create a rollback point before password change, if both queries executes successfully i will commit the transaction. If one of the query fails i will discard the changes by rolling back to the rollback point. I am doing this in C++ using ADO. The main issue is that the index.php file residing in the /web folder uses the /web path in its path to images and scripts. • What is the correct way to backup ZODB blobs?

  I am using plone.app.blob to store large ZODB objects in a blobstorage directory. This reduces size pressure on Data.fs but I have not been able to find any advice on backing up this data. I am already backing up Data.fs by pointing a network backup tool at a directory of repozo backups. Should I simply point that tool at the blobstorage directory to backup my blobs? What if the database is being repacked or blobs are being added and deleted while the copy is taking place? Are there files in the blobstorage directory that must be copied over in a certain order?

• emacs: force ido-mode to forget history...

  Hi, I wonder if I can keep ido from not remembering my history and only show completions for files that are in the current directory when I am searching for a file. I understand that this history feature is useful at times, but I often end up editing the incorrect file because I think I am editing file called 'abc.txt' in the current directory but in fact I am editing the file by the same name in another one that I previously visited (often happens when there is not an 'abc.txt' in the current directory, as I mistakenly assume). From reading the ido.el file I thought to set in my .emacs file (also evaluated these expressions in running emacs instance): (custom-set-variables '(ido-enable-last-directory-history nil) '(ido-record-commands nil) ) and deleted a file called .ido.last in ~/, but still it remembers some previous files I've visited before making these changes. How can I purge my previous history, and I am not entirely sure what the difference between the two variables above are but seems to have done the trick to keep ido from remembering files I visit in the future?   ok, so I ran into problems with Boost under visual studio 2010, so I decided to rebuild it with bjam: such as: bjam --toolset=msvc-10.0 --build-type=complete After running bjam (successfully?) it created a new directory under boost_1_42_0 called: bin.v2 Inside bin.v2 is directory called: libs. Two issues: 1. there's lot less libs under that new directory (about 13), the old directory libs has 88. Is it supposed to be like that or did something fail? 2. the structure is somewhat different too. What do I do with this exactly? Meaning, do I copy it over to the original libs, delete the old libs, try rebulding it with different flags?

  I am developing a gwt application in maven. In this I am using maven war plugin. Everything works fine. When I give mvn install command it builds abc.war file in target folder. But it is not copying compiled javascript files ("module1" and "module2" directories present in target) to war directory. I want to get newly compiled javascript files in war directory. • Some problem running NUnit

  I have NUnit installed at this directory. C:\Program Files\NUnit 2.5.5\bin\net-2.0 When I try to run my unit test (mut.dll) in some random directory. I get the following error. I have to copy the mut.dll under the NUnit directory in order to run it. ProcessModel: Default DomainUsage: Single Execution Runtime: net-2.0 Could not load file or assembly 'nunit.framework, Version=2.5.5.10112, Culture=n eutral, PublicKeyToken=96d09a1eb7f44a77' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. What's wrong? Is there anything that I have to configure to run NUNit under any directory?

  Hello, I'm using Data Pump to export/import data, one requirement is to import data to a sql file. The OS is window. I made the follow export : expdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp content=DATA_ONLY tables=user.tablename and it works, I can see the file TABLESDUMP.DMP in the directory path. then when I tried to import it to a sql file: impdp system/password directory=dpump_dir dumpfile=tablesdump.dmp sqlfile=tables_export.sql the log show : ..... ORA-31655 no data or metadata objects selected for job ..... and the sql file is created empty in the directory path. I'm not DBA, I'm a Java developer , Can you help me? Thks

• How many repositories should I use to maintain my scripts under version control?

  I mainly code small programs for myself, but recently, I've been starting to code for my peers on my team. To that end, I've started using a Mercurial repository to maintain my code in some form of version control (specifically, Tortoise-Hg on Windows). I have many small scripts, each in their own directory, all under one repository. However, while reading Joel's Hg Tutorial, I tried cloning a directory for one of my bigger scripts to create a "stable" version and found I couldn't do it because the directory wasn't itself a repository. So, I assume (and please correct me if I'm mistaken) that in order to use cloning properly, I'd have to create a repository for each script/directory. But.. would that be a "good idea" or a future maintenance nightmare waiting to happen? Succinctly, do I keep all my (unrelated) scripts in one repository, or should I create a repository for each? Or some unknown third option?

My application uses some files from the jar (default) or from a filesystem directory specified at runtime (user input). I'm looking for a consistent way of a) loading these files as a stream b) listing the files in the user-defined directory or the directory in the jar respectively Edit: Apparently, the ideal approach would be to stay away from java.io.File altogether. Is there a way to load a directory from the classpath and list its contents (files/entities contained in it)?

• GoDaddy Subdomain Hosting Issue/Question with Disk Access (C#/ASP.NET 3.5)

  This isn't a very complicated scenario really, but as I start to type out the problem I'm realizing how convoluted it can become textually. Let me try and be very clear: First, the set up... I have a C#/ASP.NET web application that is publicly facing on my main domain (www), let's call it www.mysite.com. Nothing fancy, just a front-end that connects to SQL to display records. Then, I have a second C#/ASP.NET web application that is secured using forms authentication running on a subdomain, let's call it admin.mysite.com. This is a very light-weight CMS system to administer the public site. Now, the problem... Both of these sites run fine for basic tasks, however, my problem arises when I try to gain access to the file system for uploading. GoDaddy requires subdomains to run as a virtual directories under the main application in IIS (so the subdomains actually resolve/re-direct to www.mysite.com/admin when you type in admin.mysite.com), but because of this I am unable to write to my website root from the subfolder. Let me explain a little more... The CMS system (running as a virtual directory) gives the admin the ability to upload photos for display on the main site, the target folder of which is www.mysite.com/images - when attempting disk access from the root app, I am able to write to the virtual directory, but cannot do the opposite -- that is, write to the root from the virtual directory, getting security violations. If I can only upload to the /admin/ virtual directory, the entire point is moot because it's a secured folder that the public can't see! The only solution I can think of is to upload the files to the /admin/ virtual directory, then call a URL in the root that moves files from /admin/ back to the root, but that is entirely ghetto. I hope this post makes sense. Anyone else experience anything like this? The bottom line is that it seems virtual directories ONLY have access to themselves, and not their parent directories, no matter what credentials are used. Thanks!

I added some php code to my HEADER.html (which is in the root directory / ), I am trying to add to htaccess: AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .php .htm This not working, I think because the HEADER.html is in the root. If I try add the AddType... to the /.htaccess (and not to the /stackoverflow/.htaccess) it is overwriting my /stackoverflow/.htaccess rules. Why? How I can add AddType rule to my /stackoverflow/.htaccess to Apache parse html file as php file?

• Ubuntu 12.04 OpenCL with Intel and Radeon?

  I want to setup my Ubuntu 12.04 with OpenCL(Open Computing Language) support for i7 2600k and Radeon HD5870. My Monitor is connected to the integrated Graphics of the i7. Intel OpenCL SDK is installed and working. Iteration of avaliable OpenCL devices shows 2 entries for Intel. As recommended I installed AMD APP SDK 2.6 first and then the fglrx driver. I installed fglrx from Ubuntu repositories. This works fine till here. When I run aticonfig --inital -f and restart the system I get into trouble.   Hi, I have a main domain (www.mysite.com). All the files (source code) are stored within the public_html directory. I added one addon domain (www.mysite.net). By default it points to public_html/mysite.net/ directory. Is it possible that it reads all the files (source code) from public_html directory itself. Actually I am planning to have multiple addon domains, the source code for all will be same.
