  • Having ObservableCollection Trigger an update

    So i have something along the lines of private ObservableCollection<ViewModel> _internal; public ObservableCollection<ViewModel> BoundInternal{get;set}; //this is Binded in the Itemssource like ItemSource={Binding BoundInternal} Now In my code i do something like BoundInternal=_internal, However the problem is the BoundInternal isn't trigger any collectionChanged event. I have to use the Add method. So I am wondering if there is a solution to this.

  • WPF ListView Cannot Trigger Selection Changed when only one row

    I have a listview which has its datasource changed after update of a search textbox. When I enter search criteria that only returns one row, I am unable to trigger the OnSelectionChanged event The listbox works as expected at any other time. I have tried changing SelectedItem and SelectedIndex in Code, Clicking aimlessly on the ListView both on and off the row and are at the brink of insanity. Does anyone know of a solution so that I am able to change the selected item!! Help Please

    Hi all, I know a lot so far about this exception. But I am wondering, if any of you tried to use AdWords API on GAE. AdWords uses Axis as underlying WS library, which do not work on GAE and unfortunately I cannot find solution to make it working. I am missing a replacement for the regular expression validator.     I am trying to select rows from a table where one of the (NVARCHAR) columns is within a numeric range. SELECT ID, Value FROM Data WHERE ISNUMERIC(Value) = 1 AND CONVERT(FLOAT, Value) < 66.6 Unfortunately as part of the SQL spec the AND clauses don't have to short circuit (and don't on MSSQL Server EE 2008). More info: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/789231/is-the-sql-where-clause-short-circuit-evaluated My next attempt was to try this to see if I could achieve delayed evaluation of the CONVERT SELECT ID, Value FROM Data WHERE (CASE WHEN ISNUMERIC(Value) = 1 THEN CONVERT(FLOAT, Value) < 66.6 ELSE 0 END) but I cannot seem to use a < (or any comparison) with the result of a CONVERT. It fails with the error Incorrect syntax near '<'. I can get away with SELECT ID, CONVERT(FLOAT, Value) AS Value FROM Data WHERE ISNUMERIC(Value) = 1 So the obvious solution is to wrap the whole select statement in another SELECT and WHERE and return the converted values from the inner select and filter in there where of the outer select. Unfortunately this is where my Linq-to-sql problem comes in. I am filtering not only by one range but potentialy by many, or just by the existance of the record (there are some date range selects and comparisons I've left out.) Essentially I would like to be able to generate something like this: SELECT ID, TypeID, Value FROM Data WHERE (TypeID = 4 AND ISNUMERIC(Value) AND CONVERT(Float, Value) < 66.6) OR (TypeID = 8 AND ISNUMERIC(Value) AND CONVERT(Float, Value) > 99) OR (TypeID = 9) (With some other clauses in each of those where options.) This clearly doesn't work if I filter out the non-ISNUMERIC values in an inner select. As I mentioned I am using Linq-to-sql (and PredicateBulider) to build up these queries but unfortunately Datas.Where(x => ISNUMERIC(x.Value) ? Convert.ToDouble(x.Value) < 66.6 : false) Gets converted to this which fails the initial problem. WHERE (ISNUMERIC([t0].[Value]) = 1) AND ((CONVERT(Float,[t0].[Value])) < @p0) My last resort will have to be to outer join against a double select on the same table for each of the comparisons but this isn't really an idea solution. I was wondering if anyone has run into similar issues before?

  • AjaxMin4 bug with Visual Studio 2010 RC?

    When I compile my solution I get 2 errors which I did not get with version of 1.1 of AjaxMin. The "SourceFiles" parameter is not supported by the "AjaxMin" task. Verify the parameter exists on the task, and it is a settable public instance property. The "AjaxMin" task could not be initialized with its input parameters. If I re-install AjaxMin4 then reload VS it works again until I reboot the PC. Is this a known issue and is there a fix?

    Now I got this gridview, And I need the headers to be clickable, whereafter an event starts (something like OnClickHeader="header_ClickEvent"?) Ofcourse there is a SortExpression element, which enables to sort the grid, but I want to be able to start any event, like when clicking a button. I could not find any solution within the asp:BoundField nor asp:TemplateField... I thought a hyperlink could solve the problem, but that was a bit premature. Also, when using a TemplateField, I find it very hard to fill the column with data. Could anyone bring me the solution? But i don't think I am getting this far. The armoury has a cross domain policy file on it - this may be the cause of the error (not sure! I have uploaded to a production server I am testing it locally using IIS website I am going insane! Websites have made the suggestion that this problem can be overcome by creating a WebProxy - but I haven't the first clue how to do this. It would be great if someone could take on this challenge and show us all that it is possible. I'd prefer a non-proxy solution first, then try a proxy.   • How to run a powershell script within a DOS batch file

    How do I have a powershell script embedded within the same file as a DOS batch script? I know this kind of thing is possible in other scenarios: Embedding SQL in a DOS batch script using sqlcmd and a clever arrangements of goto's and comments at the beginning of the file In a *nix environment having a the name of the program you wish to run the script with on the first line of the script commented out e.g. #!/usr/local/bin/python There may not be a way to do this - in which case I will have to call the separate powershell script from the launching DOS script. One possible solution I've considered is to echo out the powershell script, and then run it. A good reason to not do this is that part of the reason to attempt this is to be using the advantages of the powershell environment without the pain of, for example, DOS escape characters I have some unusual constraints and would like to find an elegant solution. I suspect this question may be baiting responses of the variety: "why don't you try and solve this different problem instead." Suffice to say these are my constraints, sorry about that. Any ideas? Is there a suitable combination of clever comments and escape characters that will enable me to achieve this? Some thoughts on how to achieve this: A carat ^ at the end of a line in DOS is a continuation - like an underscore in VB An ampersand & in DOS typically is used to separate commands echo Hello & echo World results in 2 echos on separate lines %0 will give you the script that's currently running So something like this (if I could make it work) would be good: # & call powershell -psconsolefile %0 # & goto :EOF /* From here on in we're running nice juicy powershell code */ Write-Output "Hello World" Except... It doesn't work... because the extension of the file isn't as per powershell's liking: Windows PowerShell console file "insideout.bat" extension is not psc1. DOS isn't really altogether happy with the situation either - although it does stumble on '#' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    I need a System.Windows.Forms.FlowLayoutPanel that only auto scrolls vertically. WrapContents is false, and I want it to work like a vertical stack panel. I can't find a way to disable the horizontal scroll. I've googled it, can't find a usable solution so far. The alternative is to abandon the FlowLayoutPanel, and try another control. What acts somewhat like a WPF stack panel but that expands and shrinks vertically with the contained controls?

    I have a column that I need to be able to guarantee never gets set to anything other than "N" - I thought a trigger would be the perfect solution for this, but I can't seem to figure out how to make it so that anytime the column gets set to something other than "N" I reset it back to "N" Any pointers? EDIT: I wouldn't want to do a constraint because the application that will potentially change it to Y is outside of my control and I don't want it to be getting errors when it sets it to Y, I just want to passively set it back to N without fanfare.
