• Clickonce downloading the deploy files via HTTP and not HTTPS

  I am working on a project to deploy a project via clickonce. The website where these files are housed will only accept HTTPS traffic and if you attempt to connect via HTTP, our siteminder agent will redirect you to a HTTPS login form. We cannot disable the siteminder agent or enable HTTP for security reasons. In the application file, I have a codebase that references an absolute path to the manifest and it is via HTTPS <dependency> <dependentAssembly dependencyType="install" codebase="https://psaportal.ilab.test.com/testprinting/Application_Files/testprint_1_0_0_1/testprint.exe.manifest" size="10147"> <assemblyIdentity name="testprint.exe" version="1.0.0.1" publicKeyToken="9a078649ee05e0e7" language="neutral" processorArchitecture="msil" type="win32" /> <hash> <dsig:Transforms> <dsig:Transform Algorithm="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:HashTransforms.Identity" /> </dsig:Transforms> <dsig:DigestMethod Algorithm="http://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#sha1" /> <dsig:DigestValue>2nch1T0SmlAycmePobtg9F1qF7c=</dsig:DigestValue> </hash> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> In running wireshark and decoding the SSL traffic (I am using the server’s private key in wireshark to decrypt the SSL traffic). I see the request to the application’s manifest file is via HTTPS (This is a good thing). But when the clickonce tries to download the testprint.exe.deploy and the other respective files, it is always via HTTP and the siteminder jumps in and redirects the requests which kills the clickonce install with errors. I have tried to specific an absolute codebase reference in the manifest file, but then I start getting entrypoint errors when the manifest is downloaded by the Clickonce installer. We have tried about every combination of generating application and manifest files as we a dream up and are looking for other solutions. The application is using .NET 3.5 and we have tried building the application and manifest files via VS2008, VS2010 and mage with no success. Does anyone know how to get all of the deploy files to always download via HTTPS?

• wpf display staggered content

  I am trying to display a rather dynamic list of data in WPF. I have essentially a LineItem class that contains a list of strings and a line type. The line type separates different categories of line items. All line items with the same type should be displayed the same and their data should line up. For example, this list will contain an order summary. And the there will be a line type that represents something with a width and height. The width and height must line up vertically. However, there may be other line types that don't have to line up vertically. I want to produce a table similar to what you see below: ------------------------------------------------------------------ | some content here | some more content here | last content here | |----------------------------------------------------------------| | some content here | | last content here | |----------------------------------------------------------------| | spanning content that is longer then most | last content here | |----------------------------------------------------------------| | some content that can span a really long distance | ------------------------------------------------------------------ I attempted to do this by creating ListView with a single column that had a datatemplate that contained a grid with a fixed number of fields and then bind to the Colspan value. Unfortunately, this didn't work. I ended up with incorrect or overlapping content anytime I tried to do a column span. I may be taking the wrong approach. I'm trying to avoid any solutions where I explcitily build something in the code behind as I'm using the MVVM pattern so it has to be something that I can bind from exposed through the controller. My intial plan was to create a factory and separate classes that display the data differently based on type. However, I'm struggling coming up with a strategy for this using MVVM as I really can't just build something and display it. I have toyed with the idea of making some kind of UI service class that is injected, but it would still require some pretty detailed UI information from the controller to do it's work.

• PHP Dynamic Count & Limit Menu items

  Hello, I want to modify this code which works pretty good but (or I don't know because I'm new with php) I can't limit the number of li's displayed for the main elements in the menu. The actual code will echo all elements it finds, I want to limit the times <li><a href='{$sLink}' {$sOnclick} target='_parent'>{$sPictureRep}{$sText}</a> this line is echoed.. let's say to echo just the first 15 elements + a "MORE" button under which to display the rest of the elements as sub-menus.. (this is a 2 level horizontal menu). Can someone please help me? I really tried a lot but I'm not an expert in PHP.. • Injection of an EJB into a web java class under JBoss 7.1.1

  I am trying to build a website using JBoss 7.1.1 and RESTeasy. I have managed to constructed and deploy and EAR with a both a WAR and an EJB-JAR contained within: voyager-app.ear META-INF/MANIFEST.MF META-INF/application.xml META-INF/jboss-app.xml lib/voyager-lib.jar voyager-adm.war voyager-ejb.jar voyager-web.war So far things are very simple. voyager-adm.war & voyager-lib.jar are empty (just the manifest file) but I know that I'm going to have code for them shortly. There is just one Stateful EJB - HarbourMasterBean (with just a local interface) and a few Database Entity Beans in the EJB jar file: voyager-ejb.jar META-INF/MANIFEST.MF META-INF/persistence.xml com/nutrastat/voyager/db/HarbourMasterBean.class com/nutrastat/voyager/db/HarbourMasterLocal.class com/nutrastat/voyager/db/PortEntity.class com/nutrastat/voyager/db/ShipEntity.class As far as I can tell the EJBs deploy correctly because the database units are created and the log shows that the publication of some HarbourMaster references: java:global/voyager-app/voyager-ejb/harbour-master!com.nutrastat.voyager.db.HarbourMasterLocal java:app/voyager-ejb/harbour-master!com.nutrastat.voyager.db.HarbourMasterLocal java:module/harbour-master!com.nutrastat.voyager.db.HarbourMasterLocal java:global/voyager-app/voyager-ejb/harbour-master java:app/voyager-ejb/harbour-master java:module/harbour-master The problem lies in getting the HarbourMaster EJB injected into my web bean. • Using Spring as a JPA Container

  Hi, I found this article which talks about using Spring as a JPA container: http://java.sys-con.com/node/366275 I have never used Spring before this and am trying to make this work and hope someone can help me. In the article it states that you need to annotate a Spring bean with @Transactional and methods/fields with @PersistenceContext in order to provide transaction support and to inject an entity manager. Is there something the defines a bean as a "Spring Bean"? I have a bean class which implements CRUD operations on entities using generics: @Transactional public class GenericCrudServiceBean implements GenericCrudService { @PersistenceContext(unitName="MyData") private EntityManager em; @Override @PersistenceContext public <T> T create(T t) { em.persist(t); return t; } @Override @PersistenceContext public <T> void delete(T t) { t = em.merge(t); em.remove(t); } ... ... ... @Override @PersistenceContext public List<?> findWithNamedQuery(String queryName) { return em.createNamedQuery(queryName).getResultList(); } } Originally I only had this peristence context annotation: @PersistenceContext(unitName="MyData") private EntityManager em; but had a null em when findWithNamedQuery was invoked. Then I annotated the methods as well, but em is still null (no injection?). I was wondering if this had something to do with my bean not being recognized as "Spring". • Use component id in Castle Windsor generic object configuration

  2 questions in one, but very much related. Is it possible with Castle Windsor to resolve a configuration entry such as - Assembly.Namespace.Object1`2[[${ComponentId1}],[${ComponentId2}]], Assembly Where ComponentId1 and ComponentId2 are defined as components. Castle Windsor doesn't seem to be resolving the ComponentId, it is just looking for ComponentId1 in the Castle.Windsor assembly. The second question comes in to play if you can't do the first question. The curious part about this is that I can get it to resolve Collector1 and Processor3 individually before the call to the wrapper, but the wrapper still can't see them. This is a basic example, the next thing I'd like to be able to do is when instantiating the Wrapper, set a property on the collector and/or processor. So it could be something like Collector.Id = 10, but set in the config where the wrapper is defined. • AsyncPostBackTrigger Just flashing/flicking the UpdatePanel but not updating it

  I am trying UpdatePanel & AsyncPostBackTrigger on master pages through find control method but problem is when I click on button (UpdateButton) It just flash/flick (No Postback) the UpdatePanle but still it don't update or refresh the gridview (images) inside the updatePanel. I have placed script Manger on the master page & an AJAX Update panel in a ContentPlaceHolder in the child page. Also, in another ContentPlaceholder there is an asp button (outside of the UpdatePanel). I want to refresh/reload the AJAX UpdatePanel with this asp button. Thanks for suggestions. I used an array to temporarily hold all the desired recipients for the current user. So I have a two box, with each for displaying. The user will clicks the name from the phonebook lisy and clicks "Add" button to add on the temporary list on the other select box.   I am working on a Browser-based media player which is written almost entirely in HTML 5 and JavaScript. The backend is written in PHP but it has one function which is to fill the playlist on the initial load. And the rest is all JS. There is a search bar that refines the playlist. I want it to refine as the person is typing, like most media players do. The only problem with this is that it is very slow and laggy as there are about 1000 songs in the whole program and there is likely to be more as time goes on. The original playlist load is an ajax call to a PHP page that returns the results as JSON. Each item has 4 attirbutes: artist album file url I then loop through each object and add it to an array called playlist. At the end of the looping a copy of playlist is created, backup. This is so that I can refine the playlist variable when people refine their search, but still repopulated it from backup without making another server request. The method refine() is called when the user types a key into the searchbox. It flushes playlist and searches through each property (not including url) of each object in the backup array for a match in the string. If there is a match in any of the properties, it appends the information to a table that displays the playlist, and adds it to the object to playlist for access by the actual player.   Hi, I have a favourite and un-favourite functionality in my application and I am using jQuery. This functionality works partially. The page gets loaded, and when I click the 'favourite' button(it is inside add_favourite_div element), it sends a XHR request and the post is set as favourite. Then a new div called "remove_favourite_div" replaces its place.Now when I click the remove favourite(which is part of remove_favourite_div), it sends a normal http request inside of xhr. • Double Linked List header node keeps returning first value as 0

  I will preface to say that this is my first question. I am currently getting my Masters degree in Information Security and I had to take C++ programming this semester. So this is homework related. I am not looking for you to answer my homework but I am running into a peculiar situation. I have created the program to work with a doubly linked list and everything works fine. However when I have the user create a list of values the first node keeps returning 0. I have tried finding some reading on this and I cannot locate any reference to it. My question is then is the header node(first node) always going to be zero? The results in 0, 12321, 1234, 64564,346346. Is this what should happen or am I doing something wrong? • Javascript auto calculating

  I have page that automatically calculates a Total by entering digits into the fields or pressing the Plus or Minus buttons. I need to add a second input after the Total that automatically divides the total by 25. The id of the computer and the date of use are stored into the class Connection. I would like to display the list information in a DataGrid and in RowDetailsTemplate like here : http://i.stack.imgur.com/Bvn1z.png So it will do a binding to the Employee class but also to the Connection class with only the last value of the property (here the last value of the list "Computer ID" and the last value of the list "Connection Date" on this last computer). So it is a loop in the different lists. How can I do it ? Is it too much to do ? :( I succeed to get the Employee informations but I do not know how to bind the list of computer.   I was having a very hard time getting webex to work under Saucy. Up until now I've been able to just install a java plugin, install ia32-libs, and I was good to go. With Saucy ia32-libs is gone and it's up to us to figure out which 32-bit libraries we need to install. I struggled with this for a few days trying blindly to install this and that until I found a way to get exactly what I need. I got the clue I needed from this post: http://blogs.kde.org/2013/02/05/ot-how-get-webex-working-suse-linux-122-64bit#comment-9534 and for anyone who wants it, here is a step-by-step method to follow that works every time (so far) ***Install JDK and configure java plugin for browser. No need for a 32-bit JDK or Firefox ***Try to start a webex. This will create $HOME/.webex/1324/ ***Check those .so libraries for unresolved dependencies by running ldd against them. For example: ldd $HOME/.webex/1324/*.so >>check.txt Look in check.txt for anything that is not found. For example, I found: > libdbr.so: > linux-gate.so.1 => (0xf7742000) > libjawt.so => not found > libX11.so.6 => /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libX11.so.6 (0xf75e6000) > libXmu.so.6 => not found > libdl.so.2 => /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libdl.so.2 (0xf75e0000)* ***Find what packages provide that file by installing apt-file with: sudo apt-get install apt-file apt-file update note: apt-file update will take a while, go get a cup of tea then locate which package contains your missing libraries with: apt-file search libXmu.so.6 apt-file search libjawt.so ***and fix it using: apt-get install -y libxmu6:i386 apt-get install -y libgcj12-awt:i386
