  • WPF: ContentPresenter changing Foreground unexpectedly depending on where styles are located

    Hi, I'm having an issue with the ContentPresenter behaving unexpectedly based on whether the styles are located in the Window.Resources or in a ResourceDictionary. Specifically, I'm setting the Foreground of the default TextBlock to Black, then setting the Foreground value in my default button style to White.     Hi, I'm customizing the buttons I'll show in the Ajax Html Editor and would like to see a sample of how to add font-size options inside the dropdownlist. public class HtmlEditor : Editor { { protected override void FillTopToolbar() TopToolbar.Buttons.Add(new AjaxControlToolkit.HTMLEditor.ToolbarButton.FontSize()); } } It shows the fontsize option but with a empty dropdownlist.     I'm following the Java EE firstcup tutorial with Netbeans 6.8 and it says: With the firstcup project selected in the Projects pane, expand Configuration File and double-click faces-config.xml. Click PageFlow in the top left corner of the editor pane to display the visual navigation editor. I can't find that PageFlow mentioned. Where should I look for that button in the IDE? Am I missing any plugin or something?

    Hi, today I got confused when doing a couple of <%=Html.LabelFor(m=>m.MyProperty)%> in ASP.NET MVC 2 and using the [DisplayName("Show this instead of MyProperty")] attribute from System.ComponentModel. As it turned out, when I put the attribute on an overridden property, LabelFor didn't seem to notice it. However, the [Required] attribute works fine on the overridden property, and the generated errormessage actually uses the DisplayNameAttribute.     We are developing a project for a client that requires a rich text editor that supports both tables and "real" tabs for indentation. Of the editors we've looked at, both TinyMCE and FreeRichTextEditor are very close fits, but indenting with tab seems to only work in WebKit-based browsers. Is there a (preferably free) cross-browser compatible rich text editor that supports both of these features, or a way of 'fixing' tab support in Trident and Mozilla-based browsers?

  • Docking *inside* an editor

    I have a document type which has multiple presentations. Say I want to display the document in an RCP editor with a customizable subset of those presentations, in a layout chosen by the user. One option that has come up is docking-like behavior for the panels inside an individual editor, with drag-and-drop, resizing, closing, maybe rollover and floating. Clearly this would need usability testing, but my question here is of feasibility. Are there any existing libraries or e4 plans to support behavior like this?

    I would make to make a small WYSIWYG editor similar to the one used by StackOverflow. Basically, it would have buttons like [quote], and when that button is clicked, [quote] [/quote] should be inserted in the textarea where the cursor is or at the end of all other text. If the [quote][/quote] could be highlighted in some way that would be even more excellent, but its not required. Is there any WYSIWYG editor already available where you can add custom buttons, with custom text being added to the textbox as a result?

Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any kind of syntax highlighting extension point. Does anyone know how I might be able to extend the exisitng eclipse Java Editor to add custom highlighting rules? Bear in mind I'm new to Eclipse plugin programming so please give as much detail as possible.

  • DotNetNuke will not save from editor

    A DNN site version 05.02.00(275) When editing a HTML module the following happens: If I make the changes and save before the cookie "portalaliasid" expires (within 1 minute) all is well. BUT if I stay in the editor for a longer time, say 2 minutes, and posting I end up at the editor again with the old content. All my previous work is lost. Now I'm lost - is this a bug, a bad setting or what? /Staffan
