• Nested AccordionItem. Inner AccordionItem do not expand.

  In Silverlight an AccordionItem is inside another one . When the inner one is selected, it can not expand its parent more which is already expanded to show its own content. I tried to get around it by templating but I was unlucky. • jQuery Block UI: node is undefined

  I'm close to finishing an app that uses quite a bit of JS. Recently Firebug started throwing an error that says "node is undefined", referring to data.parent = node.parentNode; on line 209 of jQuery blockUI plugin Version 2.31 (06-JAN-2010) @requires jQuery v1.2.3 or later. I'm using jQuery 1.4.2 When I remove the code from my page that triggers the Block UI action, the error is still there. So it does not seem to be an issue in my code but an "error" in the file itself, or perhaps some kind of conflict with another file? For info my code is below. My IDE is highlighting some syntax errors in here but it does that even when there are none. • CSS positioning breaks in Safari

  Hi all, i have a website in which i am trying to position (using CSS) a certain on the page. the is absolutely positioned and is located inside a relatively positioned paernt . on firefox and even IE it looks ok but on Safari, things get messy and it shows 5 pixels lower than it should. i have tried to figure out for days now what is wrong there but cannot seem to see it. you can find an example link to the problematic page here: http://yaronattar.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=117:the-new-lovers-2010&catid=51:the-new-lovers-2010&Itemid=242 the problematic is the one conaining the "previous/next" navigation at the bottom right corner of the page. anyone sees what is causing the trouble here? thanks

  We have JSF web application that generates XLS file and gives user link to thes file. All works fine if access this file via HTTP. But IE(8) cannot open/save this xls file via HTTPS. There is following error message: Internet Explorer cannot download ...466088C5C313F92808BDB0AFF3447 from testhost. Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. I can open the same document via HTTPS in Firefox and in Chrome. What can be the problem with IE? So I test with Moma this app, and it notice me that I can't use Form.Window.Webbroser " mac osx not compatible", Well I search around the web and I find this http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/14918.html but honestly I don't understand why I should use Gdk, and glade so I try to "add reference" to visual studio 2010 RC but I find Monodoc.GeckoHtmlRend then I find an other way using Mono.WebBrowser.dll but again Mono.WebBrowser Mono.WebBrowser.DOM Well my question are: where find documentation about one or other libs if I "add reference..." using menu of visual 2010 rc the dll linked is needed in release file or all library needed is included in release assembly?   I am trying to do a plot of a time series with DateListPlot. I want to feed it a time series I obtain from an SQL database. When I retrieve the time series the list is composed of SQLDateTime entries that DateListPlot doesn't understand. In[24]:= t=SQLExecute[conn, "select timestamp,value from timeseries order by timestamp asc"] Out[24]={{SQLDateTime[{2010,1,1}],12.3},{SQLDateTime[{2010,1,2}],12.51}} Doesn't work: In[25]:= DateListPlot[t] DateListPlot requires a Date tuple and doesn't understand SQLDateTime. • Android TitleBar / NavBar ?

  I am not sure what the proper term is, but I am trying to add a "TitleBar" to the top of one of the windows in my App. Much like the Contacts App, I have several Tabs along the top of the screen. When you select an item from the list, it loads the next Activity, but that Activity no longer has the Tabs at the top of the screen. I don't know if it is called a TitleBar or what. The Contacts App has this TitleBar along the top of the screen when you select a person from the list of Contacts. I am trying to mimick the Grey Bar that says "George Washington"

I'm not able to come up with the logic of xml which should be used in this case. moreover I'm not able to figure out how should I check "Today's date" in xml's "if" statement. Can I please get some code sample to understand this kinda logic???

• How to use drag and drop within a UIScrollView

  I am trying to drag and drop UIViews within a UIScrollView. I'd like the UIScrollView to scroll if I drag a UIView so that it intersects the top or bottom of the ScrollView. If it touches the top, it should scroll up. If it touches the bottom, it should scroll down. Once the UIView is moved such that it is no longer intersecting the top or bottom, the scrolling should stop. The first approach I tried was to start an NSTimer whenever I detected that the UIView intersected with the top or bottom of the scrollview. The timer would scroll the UIScrollView bit by bit until it was invalidated. This resulted in very jerky scrolling, since there is no way to predict when the timers will fire. My current approach is to simply scroll all the way to the top or bottom of the ScrollView, like this: [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationCurveEaseInOut]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:1.0]; [self.parentScrollview setContentOffset:newOffset animated:NO]; [UIView commitAnimations]; In order to stop scrolling, I try to determine the position of the touch in the touchesMoved: delegate, and use that to calculate the contentOffset to use for the scrollView. The problem is, when I try to get the location in the view via [[touches anyObject] locationInView:self], I get the final end location, rather than the current location. I'm guessing that's because the contentOffset on the scrollView is set immediately. Is there a way to get the actual location of a touch in a situation like this? Or any other way to set the contentOffset when I interrupt the scrolling animation?

• VS2010 add-in custom menu item in files of Solution Explorer

  Hey guys, I need to create a custom menu item for Visual Studio 2010 Add-in in C#, but I have had no luck in coming with a solution anytime soon. I am aware that there was a similar post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2486818/visual-studio-add-in-adding-a-context-menu-item-to-solution-explorer But it did not help, as the blog follows the process through the integration package, and the video is done through VB. I had attempted to convert the VB syntax to the C# syntax, but about half way through the video, the Add-in methods has significantly changed from 2005 to 2010, as some of the methods have removed or changed. Is there any good tutorials on making a custom menu item on the Solution Explorer in the lastest Visual Studio in C#, and is there a good website that could be used as a reference for looking over the VS add-in API? I've used Microsoft's main website, however it is confusing and wordy, which is difficult to understand and find the methods, properties, or commands that I am looking for. Any help would be appreicated, Thanks in advance.

• Best way to display a list of events by month

  I have a mySQL table of events and want to display them in a list using PHP. Pretty simple, except I only want to display the month name once, for example: May 2010 12th, 7 pm. Event 1 - event one description 15th, 5:30 pm. Event 2 - event two description June 2010 9th, 7 pm. Event 1 - event one description 11th, 5:30 pm. Event 2 - event two description I'm very new at SQL and PHP. I can think of one way to do it. It would involve selecting all records grouped by date, then looping through all records, comparing the month/year value each time and the first time the month/year doesn't match, print a new header row to my HTML table. I can't believe it's the best or most efficient way to go. Any ideas for a newbie? I'm sure my way would work, but it's inelegant at best, and processor-intensive at worst.

  I started with Turbo Pascal 3, went to TP5, Bought TP6 called Borland the next day and downgraded to TP5.5. Bought Delphi 3, and now have Delphi 5 Enterprise. I sort of lost interest in writing code about 4-5 years ago for two reasons; Spent all day writing ASP & SQL for someone else. PC Techniques magazine went away. I've got a few programs in the shareware market that are solid performers but are in need of serious updating. I love Delphi or did when it was Borland (before Borland bought DBase and all the other crap), I'd like to salvage as much of my D5E code as possible but I doubt I can. I plan on upgrading to Delphi 2010. My next software release needs to interact with a database. I'm very proficient with MS Sql and like to put all of the database code in stored procedures. What is the best database choice that interacts well with Delphi, allows stored procedures and is so easy to deploy that even the Geico gecko could deploy it? 10/25/2009 18:53 PM EST Re-Opened After Reading Install Docs for Delphi 2010 I downloaded a trial version of Delphi 2010 and unzipped the install. I've been reading the install docs included in the package. MSSQL driver requires the installation of the SQL Native Client. SQL Native Client 2008 is required for dbxmss.dll. SQL Native Client 2005 is required for dbxmss9.dll I checked my machine to see if SQL Native Client is installed. Nope. I wasn't done reading the docs so I made a note to install SQL Native Client. I googled dbxmss.dll and dbxmss9.dll and found a very interesting thread on the Embarcadero forums. read thread here. After reading this thread and some careful thought I don't think I will be using Microsoft SQL Express. I can't rely on my customers having the right drivers installed. So, I'm back to looking for a different solution. If I'm selling a $40 product to the general masses I need to have a bulletproof solution that doesn't require my brand new customer to update their machine before my software will work.

  Hi there, can anyone help? I have a problem aligning rounded corners in IE6/7. Basically everything seems to work in Firefox / IE8 but in IE6/7 the left / center / and right divs get misaligned. • MySQL: LIMIT then RAND rather than RAND then LIMIT

  I'm using full text search to pull rows. I order the rows based on score (ORDER BY SCORE) , then of the top 20 rows (LIMIT 20), I want to rand (RAND) the result set. So for any specific search term, I want to randomly show 5 of the top 20 results. My workaround is code based- where I put the top 20 into an array then randomly select 5. Is there sql way to do this?
