  I have a javascript function for checking errors which I am calling on OnClicentClick event of a button. Once it catch a error I want to stop execution of the click event. But in my case it always it always executes the onclick event.   I am trying to add calendar events with my applicatiom. Event gets saved successfully. However when i try to edit that event in Calendar. I get Force Close error.   I have a float value between 0 and 1. I need to convert it with -120 to 80. To do this, first I multiply with 200 after 120 subtract. When subtract is made I had rounding error. Let's look my example. float val = 0.6050f; val *= 200.f; Now val is 121.0 as I expected. val -= 120.0f; Now val is 0.99999992 I thought maybe I can avoid this problem with multiplication and division. float val = 0.6050f; val *= 200.f; val *= 100.f; val -= 12000.0f; val /= 100.f; But it didn't help. I have still 0.99 on my hand. Is there a solution for it? Edit: After with detailed logging, I understand there is no problem with this part of code. Before my log shows me "0.605", after I had detailed log and I saw "0.60499995946884155273437500000000000000000000000000" the problem is in different place.

  I've just created a package (RTIO) and a package repository (Q:/Integrated Planning/R), which is a company network drive.   Hi, i am very new at jquery and code, here i am trying to get the setTimeout event to be inside the .mouseout event but i'm not sure how to do that as i keep getting syntax error in my editor. Moving the mouse to the .slidedown div should keep it open until the mouse is removed. But will this code collapse the .slidedown div if the user doesn't mouse over .slidedown after .trigger but instead moves the mouse directly from .trigger to another area of page? I.e i need some kind of 'setTimeout' that is trigged only if the user doesn't move mouse over .slidedown after hovering over .trigger. Hope i make sense. Thanks for your help!

  I get an error on line 6 (initialize my_foo to foo_init) of the following program and I'm not sure I understand why. typedef struct foo_t { int a, b, c; } foo_t; const foo_t foo_init = { 1, 2, 3 }; foo_t my_foo = foo_init; int main() { return 0; } Keep in mind this is a simplified version of a larger, multi-file project I'm working on. The goal was to have a single constant in the object file, that multiple files could use to initialize a state structure. Since it's an embedded target with limited resources and the struct isn't that small, I don't want multiple copies of the source. I'd prefer not to use: #define foo_init { 1, 2, 3 } I'm also trying to write portable code, so I need a solution that's valid C89 or C99. Does this have to do with the ORGs in an object file? That initialized variables go into one ORG and are initialized by copying the contents of a second ORG? Maybe I'll just need to change my tactic, and have an initializing function do all of the copies at startup. Unless there are other ideas out there?

  I have a web page that when I run it on a remote computer I get the message saying that remote errors cannot be viewed When I go to view it on my web server machine, I get a message saying: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage • Most likely causes: • You are not connected to the Internet. • The website is encountering problems. • There might be a typing error in the address. What you can try: Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected. Retype the address. Go back to the previous page. I can get to google fine, so it is not the internet connection.... But this message gives me nothing to work on. How can I get more info as to why my page is not working? I tried going to IIS Mananger and right clicking on the site and selecting browse. But my site is an HTTPS site so that does not work. Any ideas would be great.

I'm trying to write an app that listens for an sms sent from the device then emails the message of the sms, but I get the error: reference to Message is ambiguous, both class javax.wireless.messaging.Message in javax.wireless.messaging and class net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Message in net.rim.blackberry.api.mail match I need to import net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Message in order to sent an email. Is there a way to get around this as it seems that the two packages are clashing. • Error with `Thread.Sleep` during automatic testing on TeamCity 5

  Hello, I'm having some problems executing the tests of the application I'm developing. All the tests execute normally with ReSharper and in NCover. However, the execution of one of these tests in TeamCity is generating an error. This test initializes two objects, the object under test and a simulator of a real object. Both objects will communicate throug a serial link in a representation of the real scenario. ObjectSimulator r_simulator = new ObjectSimulator(...); ObjectDriver r_driver = new ObjectDriver(...); Assert.IsTrue(r_driver.Connect() == ErrorCode.Success); The simulator just do the following in the constructor public class ObjectSimulator { ... public ObjectSimulator() { // serial port configuration m_port = new SerialPort(); m_port.DataReceived += DataReceivedEvent; } ... } The main object has two threads. The main thread of the application and a timer to refresh a watchdog timer in the real object. public ErrorCode Connect() { ... StartSynchroTimer(); Thread.Sleep(4); // to check if the timer is working properly ... } The problem seems to be comming from the Thread.Sleep() call, as when I remove it everything works. The ObjectSimulator somehow doesn't execute the DataReceived event callback. How can I resolve this issue?

But if for instance the user inputs an invalid city, zip etc the XML page that gets read from is empty and the app force closes with nullpointerexception. How can I solve this issue? Is this the right way to set UserPermission access?

  I am having issues with my php script that I am using for gathering a users followers by accessing the twitter API. The script works fine for a user that has < 5000 followers but I tried adjusting the script using cursors to collect the complete set of users.   I'm having some difficulty with my php coding. I have 3 files, add.php, lib.php, and view.php I created a simple form, and when the user clicks submit, it should direct them to the view.php where it will display the database. Now I'm having a couple issues I can't seem to resolve. when the user clicks submit and the fields are blank or there is an error no entry should be made into the view page (or database)...however when I click submit a blank entry is made into the database. ALSO if i click "enter product" from the top menu bar anytime I click it, it causes a blank entry into the database. I can't figure out why that's happening. My next issue is with the header('Location') and my browser says: "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at lib.php:13) in add.php on line 16" However if I click submit on my form it goes away. • Complex Forms Generating Error

  I am working on an application that allows students to create a catalog of courses they are taking for a semester. I have created models for user; course; subject and category. Users can have many courses. Each course can have many subjects and categories. The tables for courses, subjects and categories include the following: Catalog: user_id; subject_id, category_id and course_id Courses: user_id; coursedetail_id Coursedetail: name; description Subject: name; description Category: name; description The idea is that an Admin can create a list of courses; subjects and categories and that the user can select the courses they want to add to their catalog. I have seperated courses and coursedetails because I envision that the coursedetails will grow overtime and the courses table will allow me to join the user_id and cousres details to rreport on if necessary. I attempted to follow Ryan's railscast on Complex Forms thinking that that I should use a complex form and has many relationship to get things working -- but I get an error in the catalog controller - cannot locate catalog_id which I know is in the table. I am now not sure if complex forms is the way to go or I should be looking at another direction to get the appropriate form in place. Any assistance would be appreciated.

• Maven2 multi-module ejb 3.1 project - deployment error

  The problem is taht I get the following error qhile deploying my project to Glassfish: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to load EJB module. DeploymentContext does not contain any EJB Check archive to ensure correct packaging But, let us start on how the project structure looks like in Maven2... I've build the following scenario: MultiModuleJavaEEProject - parent module - model --- packaged as jar - ejb1 ---- packaged as ebj - ejb2 ---- packaged as ebj - web ---- packaged as war So model, ejb1, ejb2 and web are children/modules of the parent MultiModuleJavaEEProject. _ejb1 depends on model. _ejb2 depends on ejb1. _web depends on ejb2. the pom's look like: _parent: <?xml version="1.0"
