  • nunit2 Nant task always returns exit code 0 (TeamCity 5.0)

    - by Jonathan
    Hello, I just cannot for the life of me get my nant build file to terminate upon a test failure and return (thus preventing the packaging and artifact step from running) This is the unit part of the nant file: <target name="unittest" depends="build"> <nunit2 verbose="true" haltonfailure="false" failonerror="true" failonfailureatend="true"> <formatter type="Xml" /> <test assemblyname="Code\AppMonApiTests\bin\Release\AppMonApiTests.dll" /> </nunit2> </target> And regardless what combination of true/false i set the haltonfailure, failonerror, failonfailureatend properties to, the result is always this: [11:15:09]: Some tests has failed in C:\Build\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\ba5b94566a814a34\Code\AppMonApiTests\bin\Release\AppMonApiTests.dll, tests run terminated. [11:15:09]: NUnit Launcher exited with code: 1 [11:15:09]: Exit code 0 will be returned.1 Please help as i don't want to be publishing binarys where the unit tests have failed!!! TeamCity 5.0 build 10669 AppMonApiTests.dll references nunit.framework.dll v2.5.3.9345 unit isn't installed on the build server or GAC'd Using Nant-0.85 and Nantcontrib-0.85 Thanks, Jonathan

  • Scalaz Kleisli question

    - by oxbow_lakes
    There is a trait called Kleisli in the scalaz library. Looking at the code: import scalaz._ import Scalaz._ type StringPair = (String, String) val f: Int => List[String] = (i: Int) => List((i |+| 1).toString, (i |+| 2).toString) val g: String => List[StringPair] = (s: String) => List("X" -> s, s -> "Y") val k = kleisli(f) >=> kleisli(g) //this gives me a function: Int => List[(String, String)] Calling the function k with the value of 2 gives: println( k(2) ) //Prints: List((X,3), (3,Y), (X,4), (4,Y)) My question is: how would I use Scalaz to combine f and g to get a function m such that the output of m(2) would be: val m = //??? some combination of f and g println( m(2) ) //Prints: List((X,3), (X,4), (3,Y), (4,Y)) Is this even possible?

  • Mysql german accents not-sensitive search in full-text searches

    - by lukaszsadowski
    Let`s have a example hotels table: CREATE TABLE `hotels` ( `HotelNo` varchar(4) character set latin1 NOT NULL default '0000', `Hotel` varchar(80) character set latin1 NOT NULL default '', `City` varchar(100) character set latin1 default NULL, `CityFR` varchar(100) character set latin1 default NULL, `Region` varchar(50) character set latin1 default NULL, `RegionFR` varchar(100) character set latin1 default NULL, `Country` varchar(50) character set latin1 default NULL, `CountryFR` varchar(50) character set latin1 default NULL, `HotelText` text character set latin1, `HotelTextFR` text character set latin1, `tagsforsearch` text character set latin1, `tagsforsearchFR` text character set latin1, PRIMARY KEY (`HotelNo`), FULLTEXT KEY `fulltextHotelSearch` (`HotelNo`,`Hotel`,`City`,`CityFR`,`Region`,`RegionFR`,`Country`,`CountryFR`,`HotelText`,`HotelTextFR`,`tagsforsearch`,`tagsforsearchFR`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 COLLATE=latin1_german1_ci; In this table for example we have only one hotel with Region name = "Graubünden" (please note umlaut ü character) And now I want to achieve same search match for phrases: 'graubunden' and 'graubünden' This is simple with use of MySql built in collations in regular searches as follows: SELECT * FROM `hotels` WHERE `Region` LIKE CONVERT(_utf8 '%graubunden%' USING latin1) COLLATE latin1_german1_ci This works fine for 'graubunden' and 'graubünden' and as a result I receive proper result, but problem is when we make MySQL full text search Whats wrong with this SQL statement?: SELECT * FROM hotels WHERE MATCH (`HotelNo`,`Hotel`,`Address`,`City`,`CityFR`,`Region`,`RegionFR`,`Country`,`CountryFR`, `HotelText`, `HotelTextFR`, `tagsforsearch`, `tagsforsearchFR`) AGAINST( CONVERT('+graubunden' USING latin1) COLLATE latin1_german1_ci IN BOOLEAN MODE) ORDER BY Country ASC, Region ASC, City ASC This doesn`t return any result. Any ideas where the dog is buried ?

  • jQuery set selected value in option box once the box has been loaded

    - by Maarten
    I want to preset the value of a selectbox based on a hidden field. I need this after an error has been detected in a form to avoid the user having to set the value themselves again. I do this by setting the value of a hidden field server side. The problem I have seems to be that the select box isn't done yet at the time I try to set the selected value. Anyone know how to solve this (possibly in a very different way?) <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"> $(function(){ // this functions loads the state select box with states if a country with states is selected $("select#countries").change(function(){ $.getJSON("/ajax/exhibition/getstates.php?idCountry="+$("select#countries").val(), function(j){ var options = ''; $.each(j, function(key, value){ options += '<option value="' + key + '">' + value + '</option>'; }); $("select#state").html(options); }); }); }); $(document).ready(function(){ // preset the state select box on page ready $('select#countries').change(); // set the selected value of the state select box var foo = $('#statepreset').val(); $("select#state option[value="+foo+"]").attr('selected', 'selected'); }); </script>

  • php array_unique

    - by dotty
    HAy, i have an array Array( [0] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [2] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 8 [frame_id] => 8 ) [3] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) [4] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) ) As you can see key 0 is the same as 1,3 and 4. And key 2 is different from them all. When running the array_unique function on them, the only left is Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 33 [user_id] => 33 [1] => 3 [frame_id] => 3 ) ) any ideas why array_unique isn't working as expected?

  • Subselecting with MDX

    - by Vince
    Greetings stack overflow community. I've recently started building an OLAP cube in SSAS2008 and have gotten stuck. I would be grateful if someone could at least point me towards the right direction. Situation: Two fact tables, same cube. FactCalls holds information about calls made by subscribers, FactTopups holds topup data. Both tables have numerous common dimensions one of them being the Subscriber dimension. FactCalls             FactTopups SubscriberKey      SubscriberKey CallDuration         DateKey CallCost               Topup Value ... What I am trying to achieve is to be able to build FactCalls reports based on distinct subscribers that have topped up their accounts within the last 7 days. What I am basically looking for an MDX equivalent to SQL's: select * from FactCalls where SubscriberKey in ( select distinct SubscriberKey from FactTopups where ... ); I've tried creating a degenerate dimension for both tables containing SubscriberKey and doing: Exist( [Calls Degenerate].[Subscriber Key].Children, [Topups Degenerate].[Subscriber Key].Children ) Without success. Kind regards, Vince

  • Aero Snap not working for my application

    - by Magnus Österlind
    I have a problem with Aero Snap not working with the application I'm working on (Windows desktop, native C++ application), and I'm a bit confused as to what's happening, as it seems like it should just work, out of the box. I've used Spy++ on a mininal win32 application, and get the following messages when I press Win-Left: <00070 00030D1C P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:0 fUp:0 <00071 00030D1C P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:1 fUp:0 <00072 00030D1C P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:1 fUp:0 <00088 00030D1C S WM_GETMINMAXINFO lpmmi:0043FCBC <00089 00030D1C R WM_GETMINMAXINFO lpmmi:0043FCBC <00090 00030D1C S WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING lpwp:0043FCC4 <00091 00030D1C S WM_GETMINMAXINFO lpmmi:0043F8E8 <00092 00030D1C R WM_GETMINMAXINFO lpmmi:0043F8E8 <00093 00030D1C R WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING .. and so on So I can see that the WM_KEYDOWN for the left key isn't reaching the application, but I'm getting the aero snap "resize window" stuff instead. When I Spy++ my application, I can see that the left key isn't being "intercepted", but instead being passed on to the application, so I don't get any snapping goodness. <00043 000F0F12 P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:0 fUp:0 <00044 000F0F12 P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:1 fUp:0 <00045 000F0F12 P WM_KEYDOWN nVirtKey:VK_LWIN cRepeat:1 ScanCode:5B fRepeat:1 fUp:0 <00060 000F0F12 P WM_KEYUP nVirtKey:VK_LEFT cRepeat:1 ScanCode:4B fRepeat:0 fUp:1 I'm going to dig into the cores of our message handling and see what's going on, but I'll take all the tips I can get :)

  • MVC Form and Dictionary Type

    - by Brian Schmitt
    I am attempting to use a property on my model that is of type Dictionary<string, string>. This dictionary is one of several other properties on the model, and I am using the dictionary as a key/value store to produce a 'dynamic' form. E.G.: User Name Settings A B I want to be able to submit and save any changes to settings A and B. I can submit the form and get my posted values in all my other fields, however the dictionary gets set to null. <%=Html.LabelFor(m => m.Name)%> <%=Html.DisplayFor(m => m.Name)%> <%=Html.LabelFor(m => m.Settings["A"])%> <%=Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.Settings["A"])%> <%=Html.LabelFor(m => m.Settings["B"])%> <%=Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.Settings["B"])%> Is there a better way to produce the dynamic form with a key/value pair? The actual code will be using partials (there several hundred variations), and the above is only a contrived example.

  • Input validation in WPF

    - by irfanali-wpfexpert
    i am developing an application in wpf using MVVM design pattern. i have a listbox when an item is slected then a dialog is open having the same record in editable mode. this dialog is binded with the selected item of the list. i have apply the validation rule for textbox using IDataErrorInfo. when the user update a record on dialogbox then at every key press, the selected record in listbox is also changed. if the user press save button then i submit changes to database. but if user click cancel button then i do not submit changes to database but the list box is updated with the current updation in GUI. when i refresh the list then old value appears again. My requirement is to update the listbox only when the user hit the save button but not on every key press on dialog box. I first fill the generic list with the linq to sql classes then bind the listbox with it. Please let me know what i have to do. Thanks in advance

  • How to tell what name RIA Services/EF Model uses for Associations?

    - by Nick Gotch
    Hi, I'm working on a C#.NET 3.5 WCF RIA Services app and having an issue with my Entity Framework model. My entity Foo is mapped to a DB table and has a primary key called FooId. My Bar is mapped to a DB view. I've selectively designed this view to generate a composite key in the EF using two of the columns (by making sure they were non-nullable and the others are all nullable. This was done using NULLIF and ISNULL in the view design.) I'm able to add this view to the model with no problem but I keep running into an issue when I try to map an association between the two. Foo should contain many Bars but I keep getting the following error when I add the association: Unable to retrieve AssociationType for association 'FK_Bar_Foo' According to this page, it looks like this might work if I can properly name the association (since RIA Services looks for specific names.) I've tried several variants of names that match the pattern of other associations with no success. Does anyone know if there's a place I can look to find out what name it's looking for? Thanks,

  • Stuck on preserving config file in WIX major upgrade!

    - by Joshua
    ARGH! Wix is driving me crazy. So, of course I have seen the many posts both here on stackoverflow and elsewhere about WiX and major upgrades. I inherited this software project using WiX and am releasing a new version. I need this new version to leave ONLY the one configuration file if it's present, and replace everything else. This installer works EXCEPT no matter what I have done so far, the new XML file replaces the old on every install. Even attempting to use NeverOverwrite="yes" and even trying and messing back and forth with OnlyDetect="no"! I am simply stuck and humbly request a little guidance. The file that needs to be preserved is called SETTINGS.XML and is in the All Users-ApplicationData directory. • Collection is empty when it arrives on the client

    - by digiduck
    One of my entities has an EntitySet< property with [Composition], [Include] and [Association] attributes. I populate this collection in my domain service but when I check its contents when it is received on the client, the collection is empty. I am using Silverlight 4 RTM as well as RIA Services 1.0 RTM. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Here is the code on my service side: public class RegionDto { public RegionDto() { Cities = new EntitySet<CityDto>(); } [Key] public int Id { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } [Include] [Composition] [Association("RegionDto_CityDto", "Id", "RegionId")] public EntitySet<CityDto> Cities { get; set; } } public class CityDto { [Key] public int Id { get; set; } public int RegionId { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } } [EnableClientAccess()] public class RegionDomainService : LinqToEntitiesDomainService<RegionEntities> { public IEnumerable<RegionDto> GetRegions() { var regions = (ObjectContext.Regions .Select(x => new RegionDto { Id = x.ID, Name = x.Name })).ToList(); foreach (var region in regions) { var cities = (ObjectContext.Cities .Where(x => x.RegionID == region.Id) .Select(x => new CityDto { Id = x.ID, Name = x.Name })).ToList(); foreach (var city in cities) { region.Cities.Add(city); } } // each region's Cities collection is populated at this point // however when the client receives it, the Cities collections are all empty return regions; } }

  • WPF - expander Collapsed event being triggered by child controls with validation

    - by Shaboboo
    I have an expander that contains an ItemsControl. The items in the itemsControl are templated, some have textboxes in them, others have checkboxes. Both have bindings that cause validation. The styling and validation is working as expected. The problem is when I first expand the expander and cause a change to either control, the expander collapses again, this is not what I want. If I repeat this a second time this does not happen. I'm not sure what is triggering this strange behaviour. I've tried setting the focus to the itemsControl when the expander expands with no luck. What is differnt the second time it's expanded? Could it be the validation? Any Ideas? XAML: <Expander Header="{Binding SubSectionName}" Padding="0" > <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding ConfigSubSectionSettings}" ItemTemplateSelector="{StaticResource Settings_Selector}" /> </Expander> <!-- Templates selected by the ItemTemplateSelector --> <DataTemplate x:Key="subSection_Bool"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <TextBlock x:Name="lbl" Text="{Binding SubSectionName}" > <CheckBox x:Name="chk" IsChecked="{Binding BoolValue, ValidatesOnDataErrors=True}" VerticalAlignment="Center" Margin="2" > </StackPanel > </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate x:Key="subSection_Text"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <TextBlock x:Name="lbl" Text="{Binding SubSectionName}" /> <TextBox x:Name="txt" VerticalAlignment="Center" Text="{Binding StringValue, ValidatesOnDataErrors=True}" /> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate>

  • Troubles Iterating Over A HashMap with JSF, MyFaces & Facelets

    - by Lee Theobald
    Hi all, I'm having some trouble looping over a HashMap to print out it's values to the screen. Could someone double check my code to see what I'm doing wrong. I can't seem to find anything wrong but there must be something. In a servlet, I am adding the following to the request: Map<String, String> facetValues = new HashMap<String, String>(); // Filling the map req.setAttribute(facetField.getName(), facetValues); In one case "facetField.getName()" evaluates to "discipline". So in my page I have the following: <ui:repeat value="${requestScope.discipline}" var="item"> <li>Item: <c:out value="${item}"/>, Key: <c:out value="${item.key}"/>, Value: <c:out value="${item.item}"/></li> </ui:repeat> The loop is ran once but all the outputs are blank?!? I would have at least expected something in item if it's gone over the loop once. Checking the debug popup for Facelets, discipline is there and on the loop. Printing it to the screen results in something that looks like a map to me (I've shortened the output) : {300=0, 1600=0, 200=0, ... , 2200=0} I've also tried with a c:forEach but I'm getting the same results. So does anyone have any ideas where I'm going wrong? Thanks for any input, Lee

  • Determine between files and folders using cURL

    - by ILMV
    I'm writing a script to download files from an FTP server using cURL + PHP, at the moment I am just trying to build a complete file structure, here's the code I'm using so far: <?php $curl = curl_init(); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_URL, "ftp://www.example.com"); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_USERPWD, "user:pwd"); curl_setopt ($curl, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1) ; curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_CUSTOMREQUEST, 'NLST'); // or curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_CUSTOMREQUEST, 'LIST -a'); $ftp=curl_exec($curl); $directory=split("[\n|\r]",$ftp); echo("<pre>".print_r($directory,true)."</pre>"); foreach($directory as $key=>$value) if($value=='') unset($directory[$key]); echo("<pre>".print_r($directory,true)."</pre>"); curl_close ($curl); ?> I can use either NLST or the LIST function, but what I want to do is programatically determine what are files and what are folders. Thanks!

In the page for creating a person the bean Person is used as form backing object (key "person" in the model map). <form:form action="${form_url}" method="POST" modelAttribute="person"> I would like to add some attributes to the model map which can be altered by the user in the creation form. Basically, I try to add a Boolean, so that I can control which page is displayed next after the user presses the submit button. I try to modify the Boolean (key "myBoolean" in the model map) using a simple checkbox: <form:checkbox id="_myboolean_id" path="myBoolean"/> However, as I am new to Spring MVC I have some difficulties here. The Boolean object is not an attribute of the form backing object. So if I try to access it the following exception is thrown (of course): Invalid property 'myBoolean' of bean class [de.cm.model.Person]: Bean property 'myBoolean' is not readable or has an invalid getter method: Does the return type of the getter match the parameter type of the setter? Is there are way to access a value of the model map directly? The only solution I can imagine right now is a kind of wrapper object around the class Person and my additional attributes which is used as a new form backing object. However, this is more work for a IMHO simple task. Do you have a better solution?

  • FileUtils.mv adding linebreaks in Windows

    - by Lowgain
    I am streaming wav data from a flash application. If I get the data and do the following: f = File.open('c:/test.wav') f << wav_data.pack('c'*wav_data.length) f.close The wav file works perfectly. If I do this: f = Tempfile.new('test.wav') f << wav_data.pack('c'*wav_data.length) f.close FileUtils.mv(f.path, 'c:/') The file is there, but sounds all garbled. Checking in a hex editor shows that everywhere the working file had an 0A (or \n), the garbled version had 0D0A (or \r\n) I am using this in conjuction with rails+paperclip, and am going to be using a combination of Heroku and S3 for the live app, so I am hoping this problem will solve itself, but I'd like to get this working on my local machine for the time being. Does anybody know of any reason FileUtils.mv would be doing this, and if there is a way to change its behaviour?

  • Fire Fox 3.6 - location.href not working in JSP

    - by user299873
    I have jsp page with method = POST and action='/mydir/mypage/nextpage' I have a button : < button title='Continue' onclick="this.form.perform.value='cancelButton'; javascript:doCloseWindow();" Continue < /button and java script method like: function doCloseWindow(){ location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; } It does not work in fire fox 3.6. On click of button; it redirects to the path I mentioned in form action. With Tamper data I find that the request goes to URL ( as in method ) with GET and then it re-directs to form's action URL. I added return false in the method call also.-- javascript:doCloseWindow();return false" I tired various combination like window.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; window.document.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; document.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; But no success.

  • Proper way to use a config file?

    - by user156814
    I just started using a PHP framework, Kohana (V2.3.4) and I am trying to set up a config file for each of my controllers. I never used a framework before, so obviously Kohana is new to me. I was wondering how I should set up my controllers to read my config file. For example, I have an article controller and a config file for that controller. I have 3 ways of loading config settings // config/article.php $config = array( 'display_limit' => 25, // limit of articles to list 'comment_display_limit' => 20, // limit of comments to list for each article // other things ); Should I A) Load everything into an array of settings // set a config array class article_controller extends controller{ public $config = array(); function __construct(){ $this->config = Kohana::config('article'); } } B) Load and set each setting as its own property // set each config as a property class article_controller extends controller{ public $display_limit; public $comment_display_limit; function __construct(){ $config = Kohana::config('article'); foreach ($config as $key => $value){ $this->$key = $value; } } } C) Load each setting only when needed // load config settings only when needed class article_controller extends controller{ function __construct(){} // list all articles function show_all(){ $display_limit = Kohana:;config('article.display_limit'); } // list article, with all comments function show($id = 0){ $comment_display)limit = Kohana:;config('article.comment_display_limit'); } } Note: Kohana::config() returns an array of items. Thanks

  • Alternative to array_shift function

    - by SoLoGHoST
    Ok, I need keys to be preserved within this array and I just want to shift the 1st element from this array. Actually I know that the first key of this array will always be 1 when I do this: // Sort it by 1st group and 1st layout. ksort($disabled_sections); foreach($disabled_sections as &$grouplayout) ksort($grouplayout); Basically I'd rather not have to ksort it in order to grab this array where the key = 1. And, honestly, I'm not a big fan of array_shift, it just takes to long IMO. Is there another way. Perhaps a way to extract the entire array where $disabled_sections[1] is found without having to do a foreach and sorting it, and array_shift. I just wanna add $disabled[1] to a different array and remove it from this array altogether. While keeping both arrays keys structured the way they are. Technically, it would even be fine to do this: $array = array(); $array = $disabled_sections[1]; But it needs to remove it from $disabled_sections. Can I use something like this approach... $array = array(); $array = $disabled_sections[1]; $disabled_sections -= $disabled_sections[1]; Is something like the above even possible?? Thanks.

  • How do you prevent brute force attacks on RESTful data services

    - by Adrian Grigore
    Hi, I'm about to implement an RESTful API to our website (based on WCF data services, but that probably does not matter). All data offered via this API belongs to certain users of my server, so I need to make sure only those users have access to my resources. For this reason, all requests have to be performed with a login/password combination as part of the request. What's the recommended approach for preventing brute force attacks in this scenario? I was thinking of logging failed requests denied due to wrong credentials and ignoring requests originating from the same IP after a certain threshold of failed requests has been exceeded. Is this the standard approach, or am I a missing something important? Thanks, Adrian

  • Help with Perl persistent data storage using Data::Dumper

    - by stephenmm
    I have been trying to figure this out for way to long tonight. I have googled it to death and none of the examples or my hacks of the examples are getting it done. It seems like this should be pretty easy but I just cannot get it. Here is the code: #!/usr/bin/perl -w use strict; use Data::Dumper; my $complex_variable = {}; my $MEMORY = "$ENV{HOME}/data/memory-file"; $complex_variable->{ 'key' } = 'value'; $complex_variable->{ 'key1' } = 'value1'; $complex_variable->{ 'key2' } = 'value2'; $complex_variable->{ 'key3' } = 'value3'; print Dumper($complex_variable)."TEST001\n"; open M, ">$MEMORY" or die; print M Data::Dumper->Dump([$complex_variable], ['$complex_variable']); close M; $complex_variable = {}; print Dumper($complex_variable)."TEST002\n"; # Then later to restore the value, it's simply: do $MEMORY; #eval $MEMORY; print Dumper($complex_variable)."TEST003\n"; And here is my output: $VAR1 = { 'key2' => 'value2', 'key1' => 'value1', 'key3' => 'value3', 'key' => 'value' }; TEST001 $VAR1 = {}; TEST002 $VAR1 = {}; TEST003 Everything that I read says that the TEST003 output should look identical to the TEST001 output which is exactly what I am trying to achieve. What am I missing here? Should I be "do"ing differently or should I be "eval"ing instead and if so how? Thanks for any help...

  • SQL database problems with addressbook table design

    - by Sebastian Hoitz
    Hello! I am writing a addressbook module for my software right now. I have the database set up so far that it supports a very flexible address-book configuration. I can create n-entries for every type I want. Type means here data like 'email', 'address', 'telephone' etc. I have a table named 'contact_profiles'. This only has two columns: id Primary key date_created DATETIME And then there is a table called contact_attributes. This one is a little more complex: id PK #profile (Foreign key to contact_profiles.id) type VARCHAR describing the type of the entry (name, email, phone, fax, website, ...) I should probably change this to a SET later. value Text (containing the value for the attribute). I can now link to these profiles, for example from my user's table. But from here I run into problems. At the moment I would have to create a JOIN for each value that I want to retrieve. Is there a possibility to somehow create a View, that gives me a result with the type's as columns? So right now I would get something like #profile type value 1 email [email protected] 1 name Sebastian Hoitz 1 website domain.tld But it would be nice to get a result like this: #profile email name website 1 [email protected] Sebastian Hoitz domain.tld The reason I do not want to create the table layout like this initially is, that there might always be things to add and I want to be able to have multiple attributes of the same type. So do you know if there is any possibility to convert this dynamically? If you need a better description please let me know. Thank you!

  • How to add parameters to HttpURLConnection using POST

    - by Michal Švácha
    I am trying to do POST with HttpURLConnection(I need to use it this way, can't use HttpPost) and I'd like to add parameters to that connection such as post.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(nvp)); where nvp = new ArrayList<NameValuePair>(); having some data stored in. I can't find a way how to add this ArrayList to my HttpURLConnection which is here: HttpsURLConnection https = (HttpsURLConnection) url.openConnection(); https.setHostnameVerifier(DO_NOT_VERIFY); http = https; http.setRequestMethod("POST"); http.setDoInput(true); http.setDoOutput(true); the reason for that awkward https and http combination is the need for not verifying the certificate. That is not a problem, though, it posts. But I need it to post with arguments. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
