If I do like this: const CGPadding CGPaddingZero = (CGPadding){0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0}; It doesnt work. So what am I doing wrong?

I'm having trouble making it display the initial content, unfortunately it waits 5000 milliseconds before triggering the very first content area to display. Anyone spot an easy way to make it display the initial area, then slide to the next area and do them at 5000 milliseconds.   It looks like that the 'grid' option in the constructor of Draggable is relatively bound to the original coordinates of the element being dragged - so simply put, if you have three draggable divs with their top set respectively to 100, 200, 254 pixels relative to their parent: <div class="parent-div" style="position: relative;"> <div id="div1" class="draggable" style="top: 100px; position: absolute;"></div> <div id="div2" class="draggable" style="top: 200px; position: absolute;"></div> <div id="div3" class="draggable" style="top: 254px; position: absolute;"></div> </div> Adn all of them are getting enabled for dragging with 'grid' set to [1, 100]: draggables = $('.draggable'); $.each(draggables, function(index, elem) { $(elem).draggable({ containment: $('#parent-div'), opacity: 0.7, revert: 'invalid', revertDuration: 300, grid: [1, 100], refreshPositions: true }); }); Problem here is that as soon as you drag div3, say, down, it's top is increased by 100, moving it to 354px instead of being increased by just mere 46px (254 + 46 = 300), which would get it to the next stop in the grid - 300px, if we are looking at the parent-div as a point of reference and "grid holder". I had a look at the draggable sources and it seem to be an in-built flaw - they just do all the calculations relative to the original position of the draggable element. I would like to avoid monkey-patching the code of draggable library and what I am really looking for here is the way how to make the Draggable calculate the grid positions relative to containing parent. However if monkey-patching is unavoidable, I guess I'll have to live with it. Thanks!

  EDIT: Looks like the problem was a rootkit that corrupted a bunch of low level linux commands, including top, ps, ifconfig, netstat and others. The problem was resolved by taking all web files off the server and wiping it. A dedicated server we operate is having a strange issue. Files are not be sent complete or are showing up with garbage data. Example: http://sustainablefitness.com/images/banner_bootcamps.jpg To make matters more confusing this corruption does NOT happen when the files are served as https, (I would post a link, but I don't have enough rep points, just add an 's' after http in the link above.) When I throw load at the server, I get dozens of (swapd)s in top this is the only thing that really jumps out. I can't post images but ( imgur.com / ZArSq.png ) is a screenshot of top. I have tried a lot of stuff so far, I am willing to try anything that I can. A dedicated server we operate is having a strange issue.   We've been using Seagate Info Desktop 7.5 for a while and it stopped working after 31 Dec 2010. After a lot searching on the web, we found out from the SAP threads that a particular dll file(ciweb.dll) had this line of code "expires= Friday,31-Dec-2010 00:00:00 GMT",and this was causing the problem. The solution to the problem was to hexedit this dll file by changing the date to a later date. I have got no experience in hex editing a file. Would some please advise me with steps to do it? Thank You

• Moving UIScrollView in App

  Currently, I am attempting to create the same effect as Yahoo! Weather's App where the vital day information is at the bottom of the page on the top of a UIScrollView, that's contained by a UIView. I am having a hard time thinking about how this is going to happen or how I should implement this. If the user taps on the top of the UIScrollView which is located near the bottom of the laoded UIView, and starts to scroll up (/), the UIScrollView's frame should be moved to the TOP of the current UIView's frame. So the UIScrollView's y-value should change to UIView's (self.view.frame.origin.y) if the user starts scrolling UP on the UIScrollView which is located on the UIView's y-pixel ~280. Here's what the UIViewController should look like in the beginning of loading the ViewController... Then once the user slides his finger from the bottom to the top of the screen... this should happen........ And when the user scrolls to the top of the UIScrollView with all the content within it... the view should go back to the start picture shown... How is this done? I was thinking several UIGestureRecognizer's and Instantiating the UIscrollview at the lower part of the UIView... _weatherView = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(self.view.frame.origin.x, self.view.frame.origin.y + 250, self.view.bounds.size.width, self.view.bounds.size.height - 44)]; _weatherView.contentSize = CGSizeMake(self.view.bounds.size.width, self.view.bounds.size.height * 4); _weatherView.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor]; [self.view addSubview:_weatherView]; The adding some UIGestureRecognizer delegate method.... • jQuery sliding animation not working

  I have three divs stacked on each other but offset so that a part of each div is visible. When one of the bottom divs is clicked I want the top div to animate out and back into the stack at the bottom, then the div that is clicked will appear at the top. So far I only have the code for when the middle div is clicked, but I cannot get it to work properly. What am I doing wrong? (I also realize that the code I wrote is probably terrible, this is the first jQuery code I have written.)   I am trying to do a vertical dropdown menu. This is my code .menu li:hover>ul{ position:absolute; display:inline; left:120px; top:100px;} I use position: Absolute to remove the sub-menu from the table, once the menu gets hovered. It appears that, if I do not indicate top or left property. The sub-menu will displayed relatively. Now I need to adjust the position relatively but seems that only the left property works. So my sub-menu left position is 120px relatively away from its original position. But the top is 100px away from the top of the window, rather then to the original position. How do I move the list up relative to it original position? I cant use position:relative because I need the sub-menu to be remove from the table.

• Weird compatibility problem with .Net 3.5 and 4.0 assemblies (NATUPnPLib)

  I'm having trouble getting NATUPnP 1.0 Type Library to work with Framework 3.5 in Visual Studio 2010. If I use .Net 4.0, it works just fine, but with .Net 3.5, NATUPNPLib's namespace looks excactly like NETCONLib's. For example this Port Forwarding Management Application sample from this site: http://pietschsoft.com/post/2009/02/05/NET-Framework-Communicate-through-NAT-Router-via-UPnP.aspx ..is using .Net 3.5, but I can't get it to compile in Visual Studio 2010 unless I change it to .Net 4.0. I haven't tried, but I bet in Visual Studio 2008 there would be no problems.

• Delphi fsstayontop oddity

  Here is the deal. Main form set to fsnormal. This main form is maximized full screen with a floating toolbar. Toolbar is normal form with style set to fsstayontop. Most fo the time this works as expected. The mainform displays and the toolbar floats over on top of it. Sometimes (this is a bugger to find a reproducable set of steps) when alt-tabbing to and from other apps (or when clicking the delphi app icon on the taskbar) the following symptoms can happen... When alt-tabbing away from the delphi app the floating topmost fsstayontop form stays on top of the other apps. So if I alt-tab to firefox then the floating menu stays on top of firefox too. When alt-tabbing from another app to the delphi app the flaoting menu is not visible (as it is behhind the fsnormal mainform). Is there a known bug or any hacks to force it to work? This also seems to happen most when mutliple copies of the app are running (they have no interaction between them and should be running in their own windows "sandbox"). It is as if delphi gets confused which window is meant to be on top and swaps them or changes the floating form to stayontopofeverything mode. Or have I misunderstood fsstayontop? I am assuming setting a form style to fsstayontop makes it stay on top of all other forms within the current app and not all windows across other running apps. Thanks for any tips or workarounds.

  Hi guys, I'm using ASP.NET MVC 1.0 and I try to create a personal blog! I have a problem with an url that it has to show all post wrote in a specific year and specific month. My url is look like(http://localhost:2282/Blog/Archive/2010/5). So... it work correctly, infact it show all record that have year=2010 and month=5 but my problem is that when I use this url, images in total my site are no longer loading. I have this problem only with this url's type.   I need to add a link over the entirety of a div which contains some more divs. Looks like this: div.top { width: 150px; height: 150px; position: relative; } a.link { width: 150px; height: 150px; position: absolute; top: 0; } <div class="top"> <div class="text1">Text 1</div> <div class="text2">Text 2</div> <a class="link" href="http://something"></a> </div> So I put a link inside and made it the size of the top div. Everythign works fine in Firefox, Safari and Chrome. In IE and Opera, whenever I hover mouse cursor over that area but also over a text, the cursor is changing to selection cursor, not a hand (meaning no link). Whenever I move the cursor off the text, the link is available again. How can I make the link to "cover" the text completely? I tried adding z-index: div.top { z-index: 0; } a.link { z-index: 1; } doesn't help. Any ideas?

  I have two image views, one on top of the another, with two different images. As the user touches the image and moves his/her finger, the top image should become transparent along the touch points with a fixed radius. (Like the PhotoChop app). Currently I am doing it this way... For each touch. Get a copy of the image buffer from CGImage of the top image. Edit the alpha channel of the buffer to create a transparent circle centered at the touch point. Create new CGImage from the buffer. Create UIImage from the CGImage and use the new UIImage as the top image view's image. This works but as you can see too many copy, creates are involved and it is slow. Can somebody please suggest me a faster way of doing the same thing?

• Resize AIR app window while dragging

  So I've noticed Windows 7 has a disturbing tendency to prevent you from dragging the title bar of windows off the top of the screen. If you try - in this case, using an air app with a draggable area at the bottom of the window, allowing you to push the top of the window up past the screen - it just kicks the window back down far enough that the title bar is at the top of what it considers the 'visible area.' One solution would be to resize the app window as it moves, so that the title bar is always where windows wants it. How would you resize the window while you're dragging it, though? Would you do it like this? dragHitArea.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, function(e:MouseEvent):void{ stage.nativeWindow.height += 50; stage.nativeWindow.startMove(); stage.nativeWindow.height -= 50; }); see what's going on there? When I click, I'm doing startMove(), which is hooking into the OS' function for dragging a window around. I'm also increasing and decreasing the height of the window by 50 pixels - which should give me no net increase, right? Wrong - the first '.height +=' gets executed, but the '.height -=' after the .startMove() never runs. Why? update - If you're curious, I'm programming an air widget with fly-out menus which expand rightwards and upwards - and since those element can only be displayed within the boundaries of the application window itself (even though the window is set to be chromeless and transparent) I have to expand the application's borders to include the area that the menu 'pops up' into. In the extreme case, with the widget positioned bottom left, and the menus expanded completely across to the right side and top edge of the screen, the application area could very well cover the entire desktop. The problem is, when it's expanded like this, if the user drags it up and to the right, it causes the 'title bar' area of the application window to move above the top edge of the desktop area, where it would normally be unreachable; and Windows automatically re-positions the window back below that edge once the .startMove() operation is completed. So what I want to do is continually resize the height of the application so that the visual effect will be the same for the user, but for the benefit of the operating system the window's title bar will never be above that top boundary of the desktop area.

• How to update child iFrame's entire html (header+body) inside jQuery's post

  I have a chat webpage for Firefox that is structured like this ..... Outer HTML -----|......Frameset Frame ------------|...... header: contains jQuery post has returned data: rdata = new_iFrame_html_str, the entire html string of the iFrame that should be updated ------------|...... iFrame --------------------|...... header: contains jQuery --------------------|...... body: chat messages that depends on the header jQuery to behave properly QUESTION: I can't this jQuery post to work, i.e. I can't find a way for this post to update the ENTIRE iFrame (header + body). Things I've tried and FAILED with javascript and jQuery: top.frames['framesetFrame_name'].document.getElementById('iframe_id').contentDocument.body.innerHTML = new_iFrame_html_str; I don't like this because it's only changing the body, not the header, so the behavior generated from jQuery can't be shown top.frames['framesetFrame_name'].document.getElementById('iframe_bucinid').contentWindow.location.reload(); I do not want to reload because a reload makes the iFrame flicker, bad for a chat program top.frames['framesetFrame_name'].document.getElementById('iframe_id').contents().html = new_iFrame_html_str; Not updating anything that shows :( top.frames['framesetFrame_name'].document.getElementById('iframe_id').contentWindow.location.href = new_iFrame_html_str; This is actually the wrong form here, because it should be = url_of_new_content $( top.frames['framesetFrame_name'].document.getElementById('iframe_id') ).html( new_iFrame_html_str ) ; Not updating anything that shows :(

• Why won't the debugger update?

  Hello everyone, Ive had this problem multiple times and it ruins my projects, I make some changes, like say I have a button in the top left corner of the form and move it to the top right corner, then I press debug but nothing happens to the form, it doesn't change the button is still in the top left-hand corner instead of the top right, and it also doesn't except any new code, its like it saved the project right there and won't move on. Does any one know why or had this problem before? Please, Help!!!! Additional Details: Compiler: Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition I once fixed this problem by rebuilding the solution, but its never worked again.
