    I want to write a program in C that displays each word of a whole sentence (taken as input) at a seperate line. I can understand that there is a mistake at my malloc() implementation but i do not know what it is. Is there another more elegant - generally better way to do it? Thanks in advance.

    Hello stackoverflow I have a very odd problem with javascript. My code is rather long so here is an example of the structure and the problem: var x = new function f() { this.id = ""; } function g(obj) { if (x.id == "") { ... obj.firstChild.setAttribute("onclick", "javascript:o();"); ... x.id = obj.id; } else if (x.id != obj.id) { ... x.id = ""; g(obj); } } function o() { ... if (something == something) { ... } else { ... x.id = ""; // if-statement of the g() function is called here? } } As you can see, the if-statement of the g() function is for some reason called or re-run upon x.id being changed. I simply cannot understand this, because they are not in the same scope, and changing a variable should under no circumstances trigger anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What's the best way to accomplish the following. I have strings in this format: $s1 = "name1|type1"; //(pipe is the separator) $s2 = "name2|type2"; $s3 = "name3"; //(in some of them type can be missing) Let's assume namen/typen are strings and they can not contain a pipe. Since I need to exctract the name/type separetly, I do: $temp = explode($s1, '|'); $name = $temp[0]; $type = ( isset($temp[1]) ? $temp[1] : '' ); Is there an easier (smarter whatever faster) way to do this without having to do isset($temp[1]) or count($temp).   • C#: Creating an editable object inside a PictureBox

    My goal is to let the user click on a specific location on a map to add a Placemark, and then edit the placemark by click its icon (change its name, move it around, etc). I am using a PictureBox to show the map, and by registering the MouseDoubleClick event I am drawing an Image on the map with GDI+ DrawImage() method. The problem is that after the placemark's Image was drawn, it does not editable: the user cant click the icon and move it around, change its name etc. Is there any other design pattern I can follow? maybe using other controls... ?

Admin and the mainpage will be displayable, but user section (which uses ajax) will be displayed, but can not be used (vith a transparent div set over the page).     I have to create dynamically allocated array of CStatic (CStatic* array;), which then displayed on the dialog. It must be allocated and filled like this: array = new CStatic[list_box.GetCount()]; for (int i = 0; i < list_box.GetCount(); i++) { CString str; list_box.GetText(i, str); array[i].Create(str, WS_CHILD, CRect(), GetParent()); } But str is destroyed after the dialog is closed, because list_box destroyes too, and all pointers inside CStatics points nowhere (I assume it is not working because of this). What can I do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I know, that this is awful way and this is all wrong and I know how to do this right, but unfortunately, I can't change tasks, they give us in the university :)

And that's what I'd like to get! Could anybody help me on this?

The question is how should my (ideally fluent) mappings look like here? It is not necessary (from my point of view) for Hour class to have Id or be accessible from some kind of repository.

    I want to pull data from table "Province_Notifiers" and also fetch all corresponding items from table "Province_Notifier_Datas". The table "Province_Notifier" has a guid to identify it (PK), table "Province_Notifier_Datas" has a column called BelongsToProvinceID witch is a foreign key to the "Province_Notifier" tables guid.     I am trying to create an AJAX form for a polymorphic associated model. I created "Comments" which have a polymorphic association with all objects you can comment on (i.e. user profiles, organization profiles, events, etc). I can currently add comments to objects using a form created by: form_for [@commentable, @comment] do |f| I am trying to make this form via Ajax but I keep getting errors. I've tried at least ten different pieces of code, using remote_form_tag, remote_form_for, etc..with all different options, and nothing works. The comment does not get inserted into the database. Can anyone please tell me how I can make the above form ajax-enabled?

I want the following pseudo code to work: IList<FavoriteItem> list = session.Linq<FavoriteItem>().ToList(); list.Add(item1); list.Add(item2); list.Remove(item3); list.Remove(item4); var item5 = list.First(i => i.Name = "Foo"); item5.Name = "Bar"; session.Save(list); This should automatically insert item1 and item2, delete item3 and item3 and update item5 (i.e. I don't want to call sesssion.SaveOrUpdate() for all items separately. Is it possible to define a pseudo entity that is not associated with a table? For example I want to define the class Favorites and map 2 collection properties of it and than I want to write code like this: var favs = session.Linq<Favorites>(); favs.FavoriteColors.Add(new FavoriteColor(...)); favs.FavoriteMovies.Add(new FavoriteMovie(...)); session.SaveOrUpdate(favs); FavoriteColors and FavoriteMovies are the only properties of the Favorites class and are of type IList and IList. I do only want to persist the these two collection properties but not the Favorites class. Any help is much appreciated.
