    I was running Vista 64, I installed (not upgraded, fresh install) Windows 7 64 bit on the same partition, but since then it's been bringing up a dual boot menu asking if I want to boot to 7 or Vista. Any way to get rid of that, I'm really not interested in rolling back.

  • What is the best SVN client for Windows?

    I am familiar with using both Versions and Cornerstone on Mac - they are fantastic and incredibly simple to use... but I don't want to always rely on being able to borrow my girlfriend's MacBook so need to find an alternative for my Windows machine. Can anyone please recommend a good subversion client? I have experimented using Tortoise and RapidSVN and couldn't even get them working :( I'd like something just incredibly simple if possible. It shows my settings for my local IIS and everything I've tried from clicking various places on the connections panel, changing the address in the address bar and checking the various menubar menus none seem to offer connect to another machine.

    I am getting an error in my application on 500 Internal Server Error.     Ok probably a bit of an odd question, but is there a way to enable "finger" like functionality on a Windows network? we'd basically like the ability to find out where a user is logged in on a network and possibly which users are logged onto a workstation if possible. We're currently on AD2003 functional level, with the intent of going to AD2008 very soon, so compatibility in that arena is preferable.

    I'm looking for a mouse gestures program for Windows (including XP). I've seen gMote and StrokeIt, both pretty good, but they're both missing one thing: support for Rocker Gestures. If you don't know it, a Rocker gesture is just holding your right mouse button, then clicking your left (and vice versa). StrokeIt, at least, supports Rocker gestures in one direction, but not the other. Anybody know of a good program that has support for Rocker gestures? Thanks

    I have a BIND DNS server running on my Windows 7 development machine and I'm serving pages with WAMPSERVER. My ideia is to develop some tools (in PHP) for my intranet at work and I want them to be accessible via LAN in this format: http://tools.mycompany.com I've already placed BIND and I can access http://tools.mycompany.com on the machine that holds BIND server, but I cannot access it from other LAN computers. I've done the following on my router: defined static IP's for all LAN computers set Port Forwarding to my server (remember: it serves DNS and Web pages) set DNS server configuration to point to my LAN server On LAN computers, I went to Local Area Network properties and also changed the DNS server IP in order to point to my local DNS server.     Hello folks, I have reinstalled in my Windows XP machine. After it is re-isntalled the audio in my machine has failed. I have installed all the device drivers in my mother board. The Realtek Sound driver is also installed. Note: Sound is working when I test the surround settings test in my RealTek program, but unable to play any audio, tried playing both in my local machine and from the internet. I don't know if I get this right, but there seems to be a set of Roland Sound Canvas samples used in XP's wavetable synthesizer. I looked for a SoundFont based on these samples, but either there is none in my Windows installation, or the MIDI playback works in a different way. Anyone has an idea where to look for it?

    In the default email client in Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, how can arbitrary files(.zip, .mp3, .txt, .pdf etc) be attached. As the storage is sand-boxed, the file handler can implement hooks to the email client, as MS-Office does and Adobe Reader doesn't, but the email client can not access files in the Phone's storage. Is there a way, or a work around? I my usage pattern, I tend to send a lot of pdfs, and am unable to do that!
