  • How do I pass session variables from one domain to another in PHP

    - by Dave
Hi everyone, I have encountered a situation where I need to pass $_SESSION variables from one domain to an iFrame page from another domain. I have spent the last 16 days trying various methods to no avail. I think that the only logical way would be to encode the variables in the url that calls the iFrame and decode them in th iFrame page. I am not sure how to go about this and I am looking for any samples, assistance etc that I can find. Thanks for any and all suggestions. Here is an example of what I am trying to do... Example: <!-- Note only using hidden as I didn't want to build the form at test phase--> <form name="test" method="post" action="iframe_test.php"> <input type="submit" name="Submit" /> <input type="hidden" name="fName" value="abc" /> <input type="hidden" name="lName" value="def" /> <input type="hidden" name="address1" value="ghi" /> <input type="hidden" name="address2" value="jkl" /> <input type="hidden" name="country" value="mno" /> <input type="hidden" name="postal_code" value="pqr" /> <input type="hidden" name="city" value="stu" /> <input type="hidden" name="retUrl" value="vwx"> <input type="hidden" name="decUrl" value="yz"> So from here I am hitting the iframe_test.php and doing the following: PHP Code: function StripSpecChar($val) { return (preg_replace('/[^a-zA-Z0-9" "-.@\:\/_]/','', $val)); } foreach ($_POST as $key => $val) { $_SESSION[$key] = StripSpecChar($val); } and I get a session array that looks like this: Code: Array ( [fName] => abc [lName] => def [address1] => ghi [address2] => jkl [country] => mno [postal_code] => pqr [city] => stu [retUrl] => vwx [decUrl] => yz ) Still all good so far....call the iFrame Code: <body> Some page stuff here <div align="center"><span class="style1"><strong>This is the iFrame Page</strong></span> </div> <div align="center"> <iframe src="https://www.other_domain.org/iframe/reserve.php" width="500" height="350" frameBorder="0"></iframe> </div> </body> So HOW do I take... $_SESSION['fName']['abc']; $_SESSION['lName']['def']; $_SESSION['address1']['ghi']; $_SESSION['address2']['jkl']; $_SESSION['country']['mno']; $_SESSION['postal_code']['pqr']; $_SESSION['city']['stu']; $_SESSION['retUrl']['vwx']; $_SESSION['decUrl']['yz']; and turn it into the encoded url that I am looking for? Further once that is done how to I get the session vars back as session vars on that new domain iFrame page...

  • IIS7 Session ID rotating with Classic ASP

    - by ManiacZX
I am trying to migrate a Classic ASP app onto a Windows 2008 R2 server. The application features run fine, but I am having issue with session. The application keeps the logged in user information in session and I am constantly getting knocked out as if the session had expired. While debugging I have discovered the sessions are not expiring but instead I am getting 2-3 different Session IDs in use by one browser. I am outputting Response.Write(Session.SessionID) on various pages in the application and I can sit there and hit refresh over and over and watch the number changed between these 2-3 SessionIDs randomly. The sessions are still valid because when I refresh and get the Session ID that I logged in under the page is displayed (because the security check was successful) and when I get one of the other Session IDs I get the "you aren't logged in, you need to log in" message. If I close and re-open the browser, same story just the set of IDs are new. This happens with IE8, Firefox and Chrome from multiple computers. Things I've tried: - AppPool set to No Managed Code and Classic - Output Caching set .asp to never cache - ASP Session Properties enabled and disabled asp session state and confirmed it affected page (error trying to read Session.SessionID when disabled) Things I've tried just in case but shouldn't have anything to do with ASP Session: - Disabled compression - Changed ASP.Net Session State properties (InProc, StateServer, SQLServer, Cookies, URI, etc) -

  • PHP (CodeIgniter) Pass Object Through Session

    - by FranticPedantic
I am using PHP5 and CodeIgniter and I am trying to implement a single-sign on feature with facebook (although I don't think that facebook is relevant to the question). I am somewhat of a novice with PHP and definitely one with CodeIgniter, so if you think my approach is just completely off telling me that would be helpful too. So here is in short what I am doing: //Controller 1 $this->load->plugin("facebook"); $facebook = new Facebook(array ( 'appId' => $fbconfig['appid'], 'secret' => $fbconfig['secret'], 'cookie' => true, ) ); $fbsession = $facebook->getSession(); //works fine $this->session->set_userdata('facebook', serialize($facebook); Now I would like to grab that facebook object in a different controller. //Controller 2 $facebook = unserialize($this->session->userdata('facebook')); $fbsession = $facebook->getSession(); Produces the error: Call to undefined method getSession. So I look up more about serialization and think that maybe it just doesn't know what the facebook object's attributes are. So I add in a $this->load->plugin('facebook'); To controller 2 as well and I get a "Cannot redeclare class facebook." I am strongly suspecting that I am misunderstanding sessions here. Do I have to somehow tell PHP what kind of object it is? Thanks for the help.

  • Rackspace Cloud rewrite jpg causes Session reset

    - by willoller
This may be the .Net version of this question. I have an image script with the following: ... Response.WriteFile(filename); Response.End(); I am rewriting .jpg files using the following rewrite rule in web.config: <rule name="Image Redirect" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="^product-images/(.*).jpg" /> <conditions> <add input="{REQUEST_URI}" pattern="\.(jp?g|JP?G)$" /> </conditions> <action type="Redirect" redirectType="SeeOther" url="/product-images/ProductImage.aspx?path=product-images/{tolower:{R:1}}.jpg" /> </rule> It basically just rewrites the image path into a query parameter. The problem is that (intermittently of course) Mosso returns a new Asp Session cookie which breaks the whole world. Directly accessing a static .jpg file does not cause this problem. Directly accessing the image script does not cause it either. Only rewriting a .jpg file to the .aspx script causes the Session loss. Things I have tried (From the Rackspace doc How can I bypass the cache?) I added Private cacheability to the image script itself: Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.Private); I tried adding these cache-disabling nodes to web.config: <staticContent> <clientCache cacheControlMode="DisableCache" /> </staticContent> and <httpProtocol> <customHeaders> <add name="Cache-Control private" value="Cache-Control private" </customHeaders> </httpProtocol> The Solution I need The browser cache cannot be disabled. This means potential solutions involving Cache.SetNoStore() or HttpCacheability.NoCache will not work.

  • How to prevent session hijacking with SID (CGI perl)

    - by Gnippots
I have a web app used by a small number of people (internal only) and am using a randomised sessionID that is stored under the user record and placed in various links. I have had a problem where users are sending links to each other which is allowing them to hijack the sender's session. What are some ways of preventing this from happening while still letting users send links to one another? Edit: The session ID in the link (which also contains $username) is just compared to what is stored in the User table. &incorrectLogin just prints an error followed by die; if ($sid) { $sth = $dbh->prepare("SELECT * FROM tbl_User WHERE UserID = '$username'"); $sth->execute(); $ref = $sth->fetchrow_hashref(); $session_chk = $ref->{'usr_sessionID'}; unless ($sid eq $session_chk) {&incorrectLogin;} } The problem is that if someone uses a link that is created by someone else, the page will load as them. I am not using cookies, and I recall being told in the past that CGI perl cookie handling is quite poor.

  • PHP/WordPress Session CountDown

    - by Cameron
    I have the following code to show how long a user has left before their session will expire, I am using WordPress. How can I do this? Thanks <script> var obj_Span; var n_Seconds = 0; var n_Minutes = 0; var n_Hours = 0; function F_ConvertNumberToString ( n_Num ) { var str_Num = String(n_Num); if ( str_Num.length < 2 ) str_Num = "0" + str_Num; return str_Num; } function F_CountDown () { if ( n_Hours == 0 && n_Minutes == 0 && n_Seconds == 0 ) { obj_Span.innerHTML = "(Sorry, your session has expired.)"; } else { if ( n_Seconds >= 0 ) n_Seconds --; if ( n_Seconds < 0 ) { n_Minutes --; n_Seconds = 59; } if ( n_Minutes >= 0 ) { window.setTimeout ( "F_CountDown()", 1000 ); } if ( n_Minutes < 0 ) { n_Hours --; n_Minutes = 59; window.setTimeout ( "F_CountDown()", 1000 ); } F_UpdateDisplay (); } } function F_UpdateDisplay ( ) { if ( document.getElementById ) { if (n_Hours > 0 ) obj_Span.innerHTML = "(Remaining " + F_ConvertNumberToString(n_Hours) + ":" + F_ConvertNumberToString(n_Minutes) + ":" + F_ConvertNumberToString(n_Seconds) + ")"; else obj_Span.innerHTML = "(Remaining " + F_ConvertNumberToString(n_Minutes) + ":" + F_ConvertNumberToString(n_Seconds) + ")"; } } function F_StartCountDown ( n_Session ) { obj_Span = document.getElementById ( "CountDown" ); n_Minutes = n_Session; n_Hours = Math.floor(n_Minutes/60); n_Minutes = n_Minutes - (60*n_Hours); F_CountDown (); } </script> <script> F_StartCountDown ( " code here...   • Jetty 7 will not allow me to customize a session cookie path

    - by Bob Obringer
Using Jetty 7.0.2, I am unable to set a custom session cookie path. I am hosting multiple sites on the same server using apache to proxy requests to the proper context. (replaced http as htp as stackoverflow thinks my multiple links might be spam) <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName context.domain.com ProxyRequests On ProxyPreserveHost Off <Proxy *:80> Order deny, allow Allow from 127.0.0.1 </Proxy> ProxyPass / htp://localhost:8080/context/ ProxyPassReverse / htp://localhost:8080/context/ <Location /> Order allow, deny Allow from all </Location> </VirtualHost> Jetty is running on the same server on port 8080 and my context is available @ /context The user accesses the application @ htp://context.domain.com but jetty is setting the path for the session cookie @ /context. This prevents the browser from accessing the cookie since the the actual path to the context is not being used. I need to override Jetty's default setting to set the cookie for the context, and set the path at the root ( / ). In my Jetty's webdefault.xml I have the following, which is partially working: <context-param> <param-name>org.eclipse.jetty.servlet.SessionCookie</param-name> <param-value>CustomCookieName</param-value> </context-param> <context-param> <param-name>org.eclipse.jetty.servlet.SessionPath</param-name> <param-value>/</param-value> </context-param> The cookie is properly set with a custom name, but it is NOT setting the SessionPath. No matter what I set the value to... it refuses to set a cookie at any path but /context. This has been driving me crazy so any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How Session out trigger on browser close?

    - by Hemant Kothiyal
Hi, Yesterday morning i open gmail account in Internet Exlorer second tab. I checked my mail and closed that tab (not browser). Then at the time of evining i again open second tab of browser and enetr gmail.com, it automatically redirect me at my email account without asking login. I shocked and i thought i should remain browser open for whole night and today open gmail in second tab , it behave similar means without login screen it redirect in my gmail account. Then i closed that tab and open another browser session and enter gmail i again surprised that i redirect me login page. At the same time i open second tab of first browser and it automatically redirect me at mail account page. What i councluded by this behaviour is that might be gmail server keep my browser id at their server so that whenever i eneter gmail.com on second tab of first browser, it automatically redirect me at gmail account. I don't know i am right or not? Please clear me this concept? What happens with my session at gmail server when i closed my browser tab? As per my opinion it should automatically logout me but why this doesn't happened?

  • Signed_request lost in ASP.NET session, confusing my website

    - by Csabi
I have an ASP.NET MVC 3 website which is available both from a specific public url, and I'm also making be available as a Facebook App. Inside my website logic, in some places I have to determine whether the current request is from the Facebook-app, or from the public website, because I want to display content based on this environment. So, for eg. if the user is using my site as a facebook-app, then I want to display a picture, and if the user is using my site normally, then I don't wanna display a picture. To determine whether I'm from a Facebook app, I check the "signed_request" in the HttpContext.Request, and store it in the HttpSession to be available for my other actions, not just for that action (url) which is defined for my Facebook app. So when a child-action is executed, I can determine based on the Session, that the website is used as a FB-app or not. The problem happens, when the Session times out, because then althought the logic is still running inside Facebook, my logic thinks it's not inside Facebook. Any advice?

  • Hibernate Session flush behaviour [ and Spring @Transactional ]

    - by EugeneP
I use Spring and Hibernate in a web-app, SessionFactory is injected into a DAO bean, and then this DAO is used in a Servlet through webservicecontext. DAO methods are transactional, inside one of the methods I use ... getCurrentSession().save(myObject); One servlet calls this method with an object passed. The update seems to not be flushed at once, it takes about 5 seconds to see the changes in the database. The servlet's method in which that DAO's update method is called, takes a fraction of second to complete. After the @Transactional method of DAO is completed, flushing may NOT happen ? It does not seem to be a rule [ I already see it ]. Then the question is this: what to do to force the session to flush after every DAO method? It may not be a good thing to do, but talking about a Service layer, some methods must end with immediate flush, and Hibernate Session behavior is not predictable. So what to do to guarantee that my @Transactional method persists all the changes after the last line of that method code? getCurrentSession().flush() is the only solution? p.s. I read somewhere that @Transactional IS ASSOCIATED with a DB Transaction. Method returns, transaction must be committed. I do not see this happens.

  • Zend headScript() and appendFile not working as expected

    - by Ryan
I'm having an issue trying to append a javascript file using headScript()->appendFile('file name') with Zend. I have my layout setup like this: <?= $this->headScript() ->prependScript( 'BASE_URL = "' . $this->baseUrl() . '";' ) ->appendFile( $this->baseUrl('js/lib/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js') ) ->appendFile( $this->baseUrl('js/admin.js') ); ?> Then, in my controller I am trying to append an additional js file only for this page, like: $this->view->headScript()->appendFile( 'another/js/file.js' ); This file needs to be appended to what is already setup in the layout. However, this file gets added before the other 'appendFile' files. I've also tried $this->headScript()->offsetSetFile(999, '/js/myfuncs.js'); But this still adds the file before the other files. This is not how I would expect this to work, especially when using the offsetSetFile method. How can I add this file after the other files? Thanks.

  • PHP CLI version issue

    - by seengee
I am trying to use Zend Tool on my media temple Grid Server account. The problem is that the installed CLI version of PHP is 4.4.8 and Zend Framework needs PHP5. On an account basis its possible to choose PHP 4 or 5 but not so for CLI. Its possible to globally select to use PHP5 by using the extension .php5 but in the case of Zend Tool which is called by a shell script zf.sh i'm not sure what options i have. PHP5 is on the server at /usr/bin/php5 and someone at MT has suggested creating an alias so php=/usr/bin/php5 but i'm not sure that will work. Any ideas?

  • Call Multiple Stored Procedures with the Zend Framework

    - by Brian Fisher
I'm using Zend Framework 1.7.2, MySQL and the MySQLi PDO adapter. I would like to call multiple stored procedures during a given action. I've found that on Windows there is a problem calling multiple stored procedures. If you try it you get the following error message: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2014 Cannot execute queries while other unbuffered queries are active. Consider using PDOStatement::fetchAll(). Alternatively, if your code is only ever going to run against mysql, you may enable query buffering by setting the PDO::MYSQL_ATTR_USE_BUFFERED_QUERY attribute. I found that to work around this issue I could just close the connection to the database after each call to a stored procedure: if (strtoupper(substr(PHP_OS, 0, 3)) === 'WIN') { //If on windows close the connection $db->closeConnection(); } This has worked well for me, however, now I want to call multiple stored procedures wrapped in a transaction. Of course, closing the connection isn't an option in this situation, since it causes a rollback of the open transaction. Any ideas, how to fix this problem and/or work around the issue. • jQuery/Ajax with Zend Framework

    - by Nathan
I've been tinkering around with Zend-Framework and Jquery for a month or so, and finally started tinkering with them together using ZendX_JQuery. It seems I've ran into something that at first seemed it should be simple, So maybe I'm just missing something here. I have a view along the lines of: $this->ajaxLink( $this->escape($var->title), $this->baseUrl() . "/another/action", array('update' => '#domain' . $var->id , 'complete' => '$("#domain' . $var->id .'").toggle("slow");')); echo '<div id="domain"' . $var->id . '" style="display:none;" ></div>'; Which works correctly, when the link displayed by the code above is clicked it loads the contents returned from /another/action into the domain"id" div. The problem occurs when the view loaded by the above contains an ajaxLink() the ajax link stops working. This can be fixed by adding an option to the ajaxLink() array "inline" = true but what if I need other JQuery views helpers to work when loaded into the page via ajax i.e. dialogContainer() I guess I could simply be asking how to control where zendx jquery helper puts java script. by default it is trying to put all statments in the <head> section in a single <script> tag. I need away around that for views displayed from an ajax call. Does Dojo try and force all php rendered javascript/ajax into the head also? Thanks.

  • Zend: How to populate data to checkboxes?

    - by NAVEED
I am working on zend. I have a form with some checkboxes. I want to get data from database and populate this data to this form. If '1' is stored in table field then tick the check box otherwise leave it alone. In textboxes and dropdowns, data is easily populated but how to check a checkbox in action. I am creating checkboxes and textboxes elements like this in form.php: // Person name $person = $this->CreateElement('text', 'name'); $person->setLabel('Name'); $elements[] = $person; // Organization name $person = $this->CreateElement('text', 'organization'); $person->setLabel('Organization'); $elements[] = $person; // isAdmin Checkbox $isAdmin = $this->CreateElement('checkbox', 'isAdmin'); $isAdmin->setLabel('Admin'); $elements[] = $isAdmin; $this->addElements($elements); $this->setElementDecorators(array('ViewHelper')); // set form decorator (what script will render the form) $this->setDecorators(array(array('ViewScript' , array('viewScript' => 'organization/accessroles-form.phtml')))); And populating data like this (for example): // Prepare data to populate $data['name'] = 'Naveed'; $data['organization'] = 'ABC'; $data['isAdmin'] = '1'; // Populate editable data $this->view->form->populate( $data ); It is populating data in textboxes but not checking the checkbox? Any idea that how to check a checkbox from action? Thanks

  • Taking the data mapper approach in Zend Framework

    - by Seeker
Let's assume the following tables setup for a Zend Framework app. user (id) groups (id) groups_users (id, user_id, group_id, join_date) I took the Data Mapper approach to models which basically gives me: Model_User, Model_UsersMapper, Model_DbTable_Users Model_Group, Model_GroupsMapper, Model_DbTable_Groups Model_GroupUser, Model_GroupsUsersMapper, Model_DbTable_GroupsUsers (for holding the relationships which can be seen as aentities; notice the "join_date" property) I'm defining the _referenceMap in Model_DbTable_GroupsUsers: protected $_referenceMap = array ( 'User' => array ( 'columns' => array('user_id'), 'refTableClass' => 'Model_DbTable_Users', 'refColumns' => array('id') ), 'App' => array ( 'columns' => array('group_id'), 'refTableClass' => 'Model_DbTable_Groups', 'refColumns' => array('id') ) ); I'm having these design problems in mind: 1) The Model_Group only mirrors the fields in the groups table. How can I return a collection of groups a user is a member of and also the date the user joined that group for every group? If I just added the property to the domain object, then I'd have to let the group mapper know about it, wouldn't I? 2) Let's say I need to fetch the groups a user belongs to. Where should I put this logic? Model_UsersMapper or Model_GroupsUsersMapper? I also want to make use of the referencing map (dependent tables) mechanism and probably use findManyToManyRowset or findDependentRowset, something like: $result = $this->getDbTable()->find($userId); $row = $result->current(); $groups = $row->findManyToManyRowset( 'Model_DbTable_Groups', 'Model_DbTable_GroupsUsers' ); This would produce two queries when I could have just written it in a single query. I will place this in the Model_GroupsUsersMapper class. An enhancement would be to add a getGroups method to the Model_User domain object which lazily loads the groups when needed by calling the appropriate method in the data mapper, which begs for the second question. Should I allow the domain object know about the data mapper?

  • Zend file upload error

    - by jgnasser
I am attempting to upload a file using Zend Framework 1.8 and I get some errors. Here is the code snippet: The form element: $element = new Zend_Form_Element_File('doc'); $element->setLabel('Upload an image:') ->setDestination('/path/to/my/upload/folder'); $element->addValidator('Count', false, 1); $element->addValidator('Size', false, 102400); $element->addValidator('Extension', false, 'jpg, png, gif, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, txt'); $this->addElement($element); The code for handling the upload: $adapter = new Zend_File_Transfer_Adapter_Http(); if (!$adapter->receive()) { $messages = $adapter->getMessages(); echo implode("\n", $messages); } This works fine and the file is uploaded but I get the error "The file 'doc' was illegal uploaded, possible attack". I managed to get past this problem by not creating a new Zend_File_Transfer_Adapter_Http() but instead using: $adapter = $form->doc->getTransferAdapter(); With this modification, the first error disappears but now I have an error saying I have provided 2 files instead of one (probably its reading the temp) and when I adjust the validator to accept two files I then get the arror saying "The file 'doc' was not found" and the upload now fails completely. Please help

  • Deployed a Zend App on EC2 and its not working

    - by Gublooo
Hey Guys, I'm confused about the problem and not sure if I can provide enough details. I have a php app built on Zend framework which I've successfully deployed on other hosting companies. I am now trying to move to Amazon EC2 I moved all my code and set my domain to point to the IP address. So far so good. Now when I access my home page say www.example.com - everything looks good - The home page opens up which means the IndexController is being called and the index method is properly executed which pulls data from the database and displays it in the index.phtml page. So this lets me to believe that everything is working fine. But every link I click on the home page whether its a simple contact us link - or any other action that I directly try to call even through the URL results in 404 Not Found The requested URL /user/add was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.9 (Fedora) Server at www.example.com Port 80 The interesting thing is the home page opens up fine when I call www.example.com but when I give the entire path which is www.example.com/index/index - I get the same above error. I have checked the logs and there are no errors. Has anyone encountered something similar or have any idea if I'm missing a simple step or something like rewrite rule maybe. Its running on LAMP Any ideas Thanks

  • My Zend Framework 'quoting' mess.

    - by tharkun
I've got a probably very simple issue to which I can't find a satisfactory (subjectively seen) answer in the Zend Framework manual or elsewhere... There are so many ways how I can hand over my php variables to my sql queries that I lost the overview and probably I lack some understanding about quoting in general. Prepared Statements $sql = "SELECT this, that FROM table WHERE id = ? AND restriction = ?"; $stmt = $this->_db->query($sql, array($myId, $myValue)); $result = $stmt->fetchAll(); I understand that with this solution I don't need to quote anything because the db handles this for me. Querying Zend_Db_Table and _Row objects over the API $users = new Users(); a) $users->fetchRow('userID = ' . $userID); b) $users->fetchRow('userID = ' . $users->getAdapter()->quote($userID, 'INTEGER')); c) $users->fetchRow('userID = ?', $userID); d) $users->fetchRow('userID = ?', $users->getAdapter()->quote($userID, 'INTEGER')); Questions I understand that a) is not ok because it's not quoted at all. But what about the other versions, what's the best? Is c) being treated like a statement and automatically quoted or do I need to use d) when I use the ? identifier?

  • How to profile Doctrine in Zend Framework

    - by David Zapata
Good day. I'm using Doctrine as ORM for my Zend Framework project. This is the first time I use it. I've followed the ZendCasts Doctrine chapters, and everything works for me, but I needed to perform some profiling; There is a Doctrine_Connection_Profiler class that should be used to profile the Doctrine Model internal queries, but I've tried to use it without success. I always get a "PDOException: You cannot serialize or unserialize PDOStatement instances" exception when I perform my Unit Tests. Here is a example: $conn = Doctrine_Manager::connection($doctrineConfig['dsn'], $dbconfname); ... if( APPLICATION_ENV != 'production'){ $obj_doctrine_profiler = new Doctrine_Connection_Profiler(); $conn->setListener($obj_doctrine_profiler); } All of my Unit Tests works if I comment/delete the $conn->setListener($obj_doctrine_profiler); line. This code block is located in my Bootstrap.php class; the weird thing is, the web application works just fine even with the mentioned code line. Thank you so much for your help. please excuse me if my english is not the best.

  • How do we read the data from a public google spreadsheet using Zend_Gdata

    - by bobo
I have read the examples here: http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.gdata.spreadsheets.html But those examples assume the spreadsheet to be read needs authentication: $service = Zend_Gdata_Spreadsheets::AUTH_SERVICE_NAME; $client = Zend_Gdata_ClientLogin::getHttpClient($user, $pass, $service); $spreadsheetService = new Zend_Gdata_Spreadsheets($client); $feed = $spreadsheetService->getSpreadsheetFeed(); The spreadsheet I am going to read from is a public one, so I don't really need to provide any authentication right? And what I need to provide is just the url of the spreadsheet. I tried to read the class description here but still have no idea how it can be done: http://framework.zend.com/apidoc/core/Zend_Gdata/Spreadsheets/Zend_Gdata_Spreadsheets.html

This is what I've got: Basically I got the following code as my action: class SubcategoriesController extends Zend_Controller_Action{ ..... public function loadtreeAction() { Zend_Dojo::enableView($this->view); Zend_Layout::getMvcInstance()->disableLayout(); //Creating a sample tree of categories and subcategories $a["cat1"]["id"] = "id1"; $a["cat1"]["name"] = "Category1"; $a["cat1"]["type"] = "category"; $subcat1 = array("id" => "Subcat1","name" => "Subcategory1" , "type" => "subcategory"); $subcat2 = array("id" => "Subcat12","name" => "Subcategory12" , "type" => "subcategory"); $a["cat1"]["children"] = array($subcat1,$subcat2); $treeObj = new Zend_Dojo_Data('id', $a); $treeObj->setLabel('name'); $this->view->tree = $treeObj->toJson(); } .... } And on my view: <?php $this->dojo()->requireModule('dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore'); $this->dojo()->requireModule('dijit.Tree'); $this->dojo()->requireModule('dojo.parser'); ?> <div dojoType="dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore" url="/Subcategories/loadtree" jsId="store"></div> <div dojoType="dijit.tree.ForestStoreModel" jsId="treeModel" store="store" rootId="root" rootLabel="List of Categories" childrenAttrs="children" query="{type:'category'}"></div> <div dojoType="dijit.Tree" model="treeModel" labelAttrs="ListOfCategories"></div> It doesn't even seem to try to load the tree at all. Any help is appreciated

  • Zend/PHP: How to disable webpage behind popup ?

    - by NAVEED
I am working on zend framework, PHP and jQuery. I am working on popups sometimes. When any popup is open on the screen, we can still clicks links on webpage behind popup which causes some unexpected behaviour. How can I disable a webpage behind popup. I have seen some web application in which when popup appears then webpage behind popup become shady. I have read some tutorial about this. In each tutorial a link is used to open a dialog and an special attribute is added in for modal. But I have a different case I have to open dialog on some condition in action. I check a condition in action after post like this: $form = new Edit_Form( ); $this->view->form = $form; $this->view->form->setAction($this->view->url()); $request = $this->getRequest(); if ( $request->isPost() ) { $values = $request->getParams(); if( $values['edit'] ) { $this->view->openEditBox(); } } Now check in view to see that it should open an edit pop or not: if( $this->openEditBox ){ $jsonOutput ['content'] = '<div class="DialogBox" title="Edit">' . $this->form->render() . '</div>'; echo Zend_Json::encode($jsonOutput); } Any Idea? Thanks

  • writing CMS in ZEND

    - by Neoman
Hello guys, I'm trying to write my own CMS using Zend framework and I created modular structure. I have modules like 'news', 'blog' and etc. Also I have "admin" module which has different layout and this is like the administrator panel where admin can edit all the content and etc. But the problem is that I'm looking for the best practice and solution to solve the problem. I don't like the idea that my admin module will have a lot of controllers which will be for administer all the other modules. So I want to ask you all, maybe you have some tuts or just have an advice how to implement admin module separated from other modules as much as it can be done. Because I just want to copy one module for example from one project to another and I want it will work same. I don't want to search the right admin controller, view or something like this in admin module and copy this part seperatelly into new admin module. Hope the question and situation is clear enough and I will be happy to hear any advice or see any tutorials how to do it. Thanks guys!
