  • JclLastExceptStackListToStrings produces an empty string list

    - by Max
    I've installed JCL into Delphi 2010. In the following code try raise Exception.Create('Error Message'); except on E: Exception do begin ResultStatus := JclLastExceptStackListToStrings(sl, True, True, True, True); end; end; Also I have this call in the initialization section: initialization JclStartExceptionTracking; ResultStatus is false and sl is empty. I have set options to generate map and .jdbg files. Other functions, like ProcByLevel work fine. Is there something else I need to do to make JclLastExceptStackListToStrings work? • css menu for cross browser...mobile and desktop

    - by user1763319
    I made a cross browser drop down menu, which works well with IE6. However, I have problems with other browsers such as IE9, Firefox, Chrome... etc. How can I modify my HTML and CSS to get the same effect that works in IE6? Link to JSFiddle Here is my CSS: <style> .bar ul,li{ z-index:999; margin:0; padding:0; } .bar { color: #FFFFFF; font-weight: bold; text-align: center; } .bar a { padding: 11px; } .bar a:visited { color: #FFFFFF; font-weight: bold; text-decoration:none } .bar a:link { color: #FFFFFF; font-weight: bold; text-decoration:none } .bar a:hover { color: #FFFFFF; font-weight: bold; text-decoration:underline } #nav0{ list-style:none; font-weight:bold; /* Clear floats */ float:left; width:100%; } #nav0 li{ float:left; margin-right:10px; position:relative; } #nav0 a{ display:block; padding:5px; color:#fff; background:#003399; text-decoration:none; } #nav0 a:hover{ color:#fff; background:#333; text-decoration:underline; } /*--- DROPDOWN ---*/ #nav0 ul{ background:#fff; background:rgba(255,255,255,0); list-style:none; position:absolute; left:-9999px; } #nav0 ul li{ padding-top:1px; float:none; } #nav0 ul a{ white-space:nowrap; } #nav0 li:hover ul{ left:0; } #nav0 li:hover a{ text-decoration:underline; } #nav0 li:hover ul a{ text-decoration:none; } #nav0 li:hover ul li a:hover{ background:#333; } #nav0 li ul li a{ text-align: left; } #nav0 li:hover ul li ul { display:block; background:#003399; float:left; position:relative; padding-left:20px; } #nav0 li ul li:hover ul { display:block; background:#003399; float:left; position:relative; padding-left:20px; } </style> Here is my HTML: <body bgcolor="#79A6A6"> <div id="page" align="center"> <table class="bar" border="0" width="960" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" id="table_bar" bgcolor="#003399"> <tr> <td> <ul id="nav0"> <li><a><strong>Home</strong> </a> <ul> <li><a href="#" title>Top Item 1</a><ul> <li><a href="#" title="-">Item 1</a></li> <li><a href="#" title="-">Item 2</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><a href="#" title>Top Item 2</a><ul> <li><a href="@" title>Item 3</a></li> <li><a href="@" title>Item 4</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li><a><strong>Home</strong> </a> <ul> <li><a href="#" title>Top Title</a><ul> <li><a href="#" title="-">title</a></li> <li><a href="#" title="-">title123456789</a></li> </ul> </li> <li><a href="#" title>Top Hello</a><ul> <li><a href="@" title>hello</a></li> <li><a href="@" title>hello123456789</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <ul> </ul> </td> <td width="50" style="text-align: left">&nbsp;</td> </tr> </table> </div> </body> In ie6 Home Top Item 1 Item 1 Item 2 Top Item 2 Item3 Item4 In ie9 Home Top Item 1 Top Item 2 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4

  • Rails gives wrong headers after upgrade 2.3.5 -> 2.3.8

    - by macsniper
    I just upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 2.3.8, but now my redirects are not working properly. I get the following as the response HTTP Headers: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:40:39 GMT Content-Length: 93 Content-Type: text/html whereas I got previous: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily Connection: close Date: Wed, 02 Jun 2010 09:41:18 GMT Set-Cookie: _session_id=<correct id>; path=/ Status: 302 Found Location: <correct url> Cache-Control: no-cache Server: Mongrel 1.1.5 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 93 Anyone knows how to fix this? Despite the fact that the redirect is not working, the login-cookie is not set too (but I think, this is both related somehow). I have already tried to override redirect_to in order to set response.headers['Location'] etc., but they did not appear in the response.

  • How to organize Windows Phone code base to target both 7.x and 8 platforms

    - by ljubomir
    I took over a Windows Phone project which was previously targeting WP 7.1 platform, and with the recent announcement of the new platform it should target WP 8 as well. My VS 2010 solution consists on several projects (Data access, Model, Tests and WP7 client app) and i am wandering on how to include support for WP8. I have to note that the code-base is not compatible with WP8, due to usage of Toolkit controls and other 3rd party libraries targeted for WP7.1 specifically. Also there is another problem with the Visual Studio versions - WP7.1 can work with VS 2010, but WP8 requires VS 2012. Should i move the whole code-base to VS 2012? Any good advice on how to organize code-base in a most meaningful way in order to avoid duplication and possible painful maintenance? I am thinking between one solution - multiple projects vs. multiple solutions - reusable projects approach. Code duplication (like two separate folders/solutions) should be the least possible approach (fallback).

  • [JQuery] Edit Css with animation effect

    - by Pennywise83
    Hi, I've a div in a absolute position with a default "top" value set to "-200px". When i click on the div the "top" value is updated to "0". In this way I see the entire Div. This is the js: $(document).ready(function(){ $("#search_bar").click(function () { $(this).css("top","0"); }); }); Is there a way to achieve this result but with an animation? For example, a slide down effect? Also, when i click another time to the div I'd like that the "top" value will be restored to "-200px".

  • Subtracting months/years from boost::posix_time::ptime

    - by Zack
    I have a boost::posix_time::ptime that points to March 31st 2010 like this: ptime p(date(2010, Mar, 31)); I would like to subtract a month (and possibly years) from this date. From the docs I see these two operators: ptime operator-(time_duration) and ptime operator-(days) but none of them can work with months/years. If I try and do: time_duration duration = hours(24 * 30); ptime pp = p - duration; I'm getting March 1st and if I'm trying: ptime pp = p - days(30); I'm still getting March 1st, while I'd like to get February 28th. How can I achieve my desired result? (I would like to get the desired result also when subtracting a month from March 28, 29, 30)

  • Why can't i call Contains method from my array?

    - by xbnevan
    Arrrg!I am running into what i feel is a dumb issue with a simple script i'm writing in powershell. I am invoking a sql command that is calling a stored proc, with the results i put it a array. The results look something like this: Status ProcessStartTime ProcessEndTime ------ ---------------- -------------- Expired May 22 2010 8:31PM May 22 2010 8:32PM What i'm trying to do is if($s.Contains("Expired")) , report failed. Simple...? :( Problem i'm running into is it looks like Contains method is not being loaded as i get an error like this: Method invocation failed because [System.Object[]] doesn't contain a method named 'Contains'. At line:1 char:12 + $s.Contains <<<< ("Expired") + CategoryInfo : InvalidOperation: (Contains:String) [], RuntimeException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MethodNotFound So, what can i do to stop powershell from unrolling it to string? Actual ps script below - $s = @(Invoke-Sqlcmd -Query "USE DB GO exec Monitor_TEST_ps 'EXPORT_RUN',NULL,20 " ` -ServerInstance "testdb002\testdb_002") if ($s.Contains("Expired")) { Write-Host "Expired found, FAIL." } else { Write-Host "Not found, OK." }

  • How do I specify a dynamic position for the start of substring?

    - by analyticsPierce
    As in the example, I am trying to substring the Video_full column in a data.frame (video_data_2) I am working on. I want to keep all the characters after the period. The period is always present, there is only one period and it is in a different position in each value for the column. Date Video_full Instances 1 Apr 1, 2010 installs/AA.intro_video_1 546 2 Apr 1, 2010 installs/ABAC.intro_video_2 548 I got substring to work; video_data_2$Video_full <- substring(video_data_2$Video_full,11) And strsplit also; strsplit("installs/AA.intro_video_1 ",'[.]') I'm just not able to figure out how to start the substring in a dynamic position or only keep the second value returned by strsplit. Thanks for any help you can offer for a simple question.

  • float addition 2.5 + 2.5 = 4.0? RPN

    - by AJ Clou
    The code below is my subprogram to do reverse polish notation calculations... basically +, -, *, and /. Everything works in the program except when I try to add 2.5 and 2.5 the program gives me 4.0... I think I have an idea why, but I'm not sure how to fix it... Right now I am reading all the numbers and operators in from command line as required by this assignment, then taking that string and using sscanf to get the numbers out of it... I am thinking that somehow the array that contains the three characters '2', '.', and '5', is not being totally converted to a float... instead i think just the '2' is. Could someone please take a look at my code and either confirm or deny this, and possibly tell me how to fix it so that i get the proper answer? Thank you in advance for any help! float fsm (char mystring[]) { int i = -1, j, k = 0, state = 0; float num1, num2, ans; char temp[10]; c_stack top; c_init_stack (&top); while (1) { switch (state) { case 0: i++; if ((mystring[i]) == ' ') { state = 0; } else if ((isdigit (mystring[i])) || (mystring[i] == '.')) { state = 1; } else if ((mystring[i]) == '\0') { state = 3; } else { state = 4; } break; case 1: temp[k] = mystring[i]; k++; i++; if ((isdigit (mystring[i])) || (mystring[i] == '.')) { state = 1; } else { state = 2; } break; case 2: temp[k] = '\0'; sscanf (temp, "%f", &num1); c_push (&top, num1); i--; k = 0; state = 0; break; case 3: ans = c_pop (&top); if (c_is_empty (top)) return ans; else { printf ("There are still items on the stack\n"); exit (0); case 4: num2 = c_pop (&top); num1 = c_pop (&top); if (mystring[i] == '+'){ ans = num1 + num2; return ans; } else if (mystring[i] == '-'){ ans = num1 - num2; return ans; } else if (mystring[i] == '*'){ ans = num1 * num2; return ans; } else if (mystring[i] == '/'){ if (num2){ ans = num1 / num2; return ans; } else{ printf ("Error: cannot divide by 0\n"); exit (0); } } c_push (&top, ans); state = 0; break; } } } } Here is my main program: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include "boolean.h" #include "c_stack.h" #include <string.h> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { char mystring[100]; int i; sscanf("", "%s", mystring); for (i=1; i<argc; i++){ strcat(mystring, argv[i]); strcat(mystring, " "); } printf("%.2f\n", fsm(mystring)); } and here is the header file with prototypes and the definition for c_stack: #include "boolean.h" #ifndef CSTACK_H #define CSTACK_H typedef struct c_stacknode{ char data; struct c_stacknode *next; } *c_stack; #endif void c_init_stack(c_stack *); boolean c_is_full(void); boolean c_is_empty(c_stack); void c_push(c_stack *,char); char c_pop(c_stack *); void print_c_stack(c_stack); boolean is_open(char); boolean is_brother(char, char); float fsm(char[]);

  • ActiveRecord date format

    - by Mongus Pong
    I've run into a spot of bother with date formats in our Rails application. I have a date field in our view which I want to be formatted as dd/mm/yy. This is how the user will expect to enter their dates, and the datepicker control uses this format. However, Active Record seems to be expecting mm/dd/yy. If I enter 01/03/2010, this gets put in as 03 January 2010. If I enter 25/03/2010, this gets put in a null. How do I get ActiveRecord to expect Her Majesties date format?

  • How do you know how much space an NSString (using default font) will occupy on a UITableView section

    - by paul_sns
    Basically I want to copy the behavior in iPhone's Calendar where the day of week (Mon, Tue, Wed) is on the left side of the table's section header (left justified) while the formatted date (Apr 1, 2010, May 1, 2010) based on locale is on the right side of the table's section header (right justified). I was thinking of inserting a variable amount of space in between the day of week and formatted date but I first need to know the actual space consumed by the text on both sides to figure out how much space to add. Hope to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.

  • Targeting an iFrame once with jQuery

    - by user275074
    Hi, I have a series of frames (4) which are used in a page to create loading of dynamic content through Ajax calls. In each of these frames I target parent level elements and update them with there respective content e.g. $("#loadingGrid1",top.document).show(); $("#frameSkills",top.document).hide(); In jQuery is there a way to instead of targeting specific elements on the parent page multiple times, simply target the page once into a variable e.g. var parentPage=$('#frameSkills',top.document); And then use this variable to apply content like $(parentPage #loadingGrid1).hide() Hope I've explained what I'm after enough. Basically, I'm having to call "top.document" in every jQuery selector I make and it seems like a waste of energy.

  • Dynamically choosing css property in animation

    - by paddywhack
    Hi, It seems a straightforward thing but I'm not having much success. I'm just implementing a simple animation moving a div left or up using animate() but I would like to be able to set the "top" and "left" css properties dynamically. I would like to use the same function rather than have to have two, one for "left" and one for "top". Here's some code which gives the idea. function test($element){ $element.click(function(){ var cssProperty; var direction = "left"; var moveTo = "100px"; if (direction === "top") { cssProperty = "top"; } else { cssProperty = "left"; } /*Using variable as CSS property - This doesn't work */ $(this).animate({ cssProperty: moveTo }, 1000); /*Using variable as the CSS Values - This does */ $(this).animate({ left: moveTo }, 1000); }); } Variables works on the css value side but not on the css selector side. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

  • Dual head setup for Ubuntu 10.04.1 and Windows XP Pro with same hardware configuration

    - by mejpark
    Hello. I have a Dell OptiPlex 360 workstation at work, with 2 x ATI RV280 [Radeon 9200 PRO] graphics cards installed, which are attached to two identical 19" HII flat panel monitors. I'm using the open source Radeon driver with Ubuntu, and the proprietary drivers with Windows. The good news is that dual head configuration works for both OSes. The bad news is, I have to use a different hardware configuration for each OS to achieve this. Hardware config #1: Dual monitors work for Windows XP Pro like this: First display -> external VGA port Second display -> DVI input on gfx card Hardware config #2: Dual monitors work for Ubuntu 10.04.1 like this: First display -> VGA port on gfx card Second display -> DVI input on gfx card I connected up the displays according to Config #2 and booted up Windows, which resulted in a mirror image on both screens. I was unable to login, as the login box was not visible. I unplugged the VGA lead from gfx card and plugged it into the external VGA port (Config #1) - Windows dual head works again, but the VGA-connected screen is not recognised by Ubuntu and remains in standby mode. Is it possible to configure a dual head setup for Ubuntu using Config #1, or am I missing something? I tried setting up dual monitors using Config #1, this morning which didn't work. By default, there is no xorg.conf file in Ubuntu 10.04.1, so I generated one using: $ sudo X :2 -configure X.Org X Server 1.7.6 Release Date: 2010-03-17 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0 Build Operating System: Linux 2.6.24-27-server i686 Ubuntu Current Operating System: Linux harrier 2.6.32-24-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Aug 20 14:24:04 UTC 2010 i686 Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-24-generic root=UUID=a34c1931-98d4-4a34-880c-c227a2936c4a ro quiet splash Build Date: 21 July 2010 12:47:34PM xorg-server 2:1.7.6-2ubuntu7.3 (For technical support please see http://www.ubuntu.com/support) Current version of pixman: 0.16.4 Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org to make sure that you have the latest version. • Graphics card initialisation problems when booting - requires a "double" boot

    - by DMA57361
    Problem Outline When booting from cold (and my machine is disconnected from main power when off, but leaving it connected doesn't help) the graphics card (single PCI-e card GeForce 460) will not initialise on the first boot, leaving me with the motherboards on-board graphics (which kick in automatically if no PCI-e card is found). However, if I restart the computer - normally I do this by powering it off just after the numlock lights up on the keyboard (ie, just after POST/BIOS and before Windows takes over), wait for the system to whirr down, and power up again - the graphics card will work correctly. Once double-booted in this matter the system seems to work correctly - with no noticeable problems. This is reproducible every time I try to boot - it has been working like this for about a month now. Background Information Sept 2010 - I suffered a hardware malfunction (crashes in Windows and graphics corruption on BIOS screens). By way of spare hardware I determined that replacing the PSU removed the issue, so I replaced the PSU with a brand new one of slightly higher power (460W replaced with 500W). Oct 2010 - The problem resurfaced. I purchased a new graphics card (GeForce 460), which removed the problem. The new graphics card immediately started having the boot initialisation problems mentioned. I presumed there was a motherboard fault all along, but because the system worked once booted, and I was temporarily out of spare money, I left the system alone and continued to use it. Early/Mid Dec 2010 - In the space of 5 days I recieved 3 instances of hard drive corruption (seemlingly fixed by chkdsk and sfc in each case...). Since I was already under the impression the motherboard was faulty, I purchased a new one ASAP, this also required new RAM (as I dropped from 4 slots to 2 and didn't want to drop mem quantity). Past 3-4 weeks - With a brand new PSU, Graphics Card, Motherboard and RAM I'm suffering the problem outlined above. So, what could be causing this and how do I can resolve it? Additional Notes Once double-booted the system seems to work entirely correctly. The graphics card problem has occured on two entirely different motherboards. I do not have the opportunity to test the graphics card in a different computer (I've only the old motherboard, which is dubious, or a really old desktop that still has an AGP port). Under load (ie, modern games for long enough for temperatures to plateau) the system remains stable and performs as expected. The software that came with the new motherboard and SpeenFan both report all voltages and temperatures are within nominal bounds, when idle and when under load. I've looking over the BIOS settings for my motherboard multiple times and can find nothing that helps. This system is configured to run with everything at standard levels - no overclocking. I've tried booting the system with only the mobo and graphics card connected (thinking maybe my new PSU was too weak for the new gfx card, even though it meets the quoted PSU requirements for the card) but the same problem persists (and really if the PSU was weak I'd have problems with the system under load). When the gfx card does not initialise the fan on its cooling unit is running, possibly slower than otherwise - but this measurement is by eye and so unreliable.

I'm getting the following error: /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:443:in `load_missing_constant': uninitialized constant MemCache (NameError) from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:80:in `const_missing_with_dependencies' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:92:in `const_missing' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/clients/memcache_queue_client.rb:18:in `<class:MemcacheQueueClient>' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/clients/memcache_queue_client.rb:14:in `<module:Clients>' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/clients/memcache_queue_client.rb:13:in `<module:Workling>' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/clients/memcache_queue_client.rb:12:in `<top (required)>' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `block in require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `new_constants_in' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/remote/runners/client_runner.rb:2:in `<top (required)>' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `block in require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `new_constants_in' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/remote/runners/starling_runner.rb:1:in `<top (required)>' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `block in require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `new_constants_in' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /root/voicegateway/vendor/plugins/workling/lib/workling/remote.rb:3:in `<top (required)>' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:380:in `load' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:380:in `block in load_file' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `new_constants_in' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:379:in `load_file' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:259:in `require_or_load' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:425:in `load_missing_constant' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:80:in `const_missing_with_dependencies' from /root/voicegateway/config/environments/development.rb:20:in `block in load_environment' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/initializer.rb:386:in `eval' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/initializer.rb:386:in `block in load_environment' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/core_ext/kernel/reporting.rb:11:in `silence_warnings' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/initializer.rb:379:in `load_environment' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/initializer.rb:137:in `process' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/initializer.rb:113:in `run' from /root/voicegateway/config/environment.rb:9:in `<top (required)>' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `block in require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:521:in `new_constants_in' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/activesupport-2.3.8/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:156:in `require' from /var/lib/gems/1.9.1/gems/rails-2.3.8/lib/commands/server.rb:84:in `<top (required)>' from ./server:3:in `require' from ./server:3:in `<main>' But memcache-client 1.8.3 is on the gem list.
