• Get script of SQL Server data

  I'm looking for a way to do something analogous to the MySql dump from SQL Server. I need to be able to pick the tables and export the schema and the data (or I can export the schema via SQL Server Management Studio and export the data separately somehow). I need this data to be able to turn around and go back into SQL Server so it needs to maintain GUIDs/uniqueidentifiers and other column types. Does anyone know of a good tool for this?

  I'm currently using Visual Studio 2008 to edit .js files with, and it has decent support but I want more... I like the VS syntax highlighting and auto-indentation features but additionally would like advanced features like: contextual info and help, collapsible JavaScript blocks, implicit symbol understanding for searching, refactoring and that kind of thing; also warnings and errors for the js code. Suggestions?

So I tried to add a new project using Application's AddProject method and then overwrite the project file created with my existing project file. But it did not work. Please help.

  Aside from faster development time (Visual Studio 2010 beta 2 has no T4 templates for building POCO entity objects that I'm aware of), are there any advantages to using the traditional EntityObject entities that Entity Framework creates, by default? If Microsoft delivers a T4 template for building POCO objects, I'm trying to figure out why anybody would want to use the traditional method.

Currently the MS Paint Colors menu item only presents an Edit Colors dialog. I would like to supplement that by causing the Colors menu item to display both "Edit Colors" and "Edit Known Colors". It's easy to schedule automated check-in's into svn from a folder, but scheduling the export from SQL in SQL Management Studio is Right click target database, choose Tasks Generate Scripts. Follow the wizard and presto you've got scripts in a folder. Is it possible to extract a single script that the wizard generates, and stuff that into a stored proc which I can run nightly? Ideas?

  When you have an application and send a select command, the sql server gathers all the data and sends them back to your application and fills your datagrid (for example) If you performed the same select command in sql management studio, immediately as the query starts running and finding data the results panel would start filling with the data found.
