• ASE reports messages as spam?

  Outside users are attempting to send to our domain (www.lrffpd.com). It's getting rejected sporatically. All of the senders are getting some variation of the error "Unagi.teksnax.com has rejected the message. This message has been blocked because ASE reports it as spam". The error number varies. -Our firewall is a Fortigate and it runs the built-in Fortigate AntiSpam software. I don't this problem is becuase of the firewall because the error is coming from the server, not the firewall. -On the Exchange 2003 server we run ESET NOD32 for Exchange (only for AntiVirus). We also run the IMF filter built into Exchange. I've NEVER heard of ASE and can't find any information about them. What do you think this could be?

  I need to frame a page being served by SharePoint 2010's xlsviewer.aspx but this page is setting the HTTP response header X-FRAME-OPTION to SAMEORIGIN, so IE8 refuses to render the page in a frame on another domain, which is what I need. It appears that no other pages being served by this SharePoint instance set X-FRAME-OPTIONS, only _layouts/xlsviewer.aspx Where can I change the HTTP headers or framing options for SharePoint or this specific page? Relevant headers: GET //_layouts/xlviewer.aspx?id=whatever.xlsx&DefaultItemOpen=1 is returning: HTTP/1.1 200 OK . . . • Enabling SFTP Access within PLESK

  Hello everyone, I have a client who wants to ensure his upload is secure, so we are trying to enable SFTP for him on our Linux PLESK server. I have enabled SSH access to bin/bash for FTP accounts, and created a new user. When I attempt to SFTP using either the IP address or the domain name, this is the error FileZilla is giving me: Error: Authentication failed. Error: Critical error Error: Could not connect to server Here is some basic information regarding the server: Operating system Linux 2.6.24.5-20080421a Plesk Control Panel version psa v8.6.0_build86080930.03 os_CentOS 5 I had read in some places that I should reboot the SSH Service in Server - Services, however, there is no SSH Service within the list. I'm not really a server guy so it's quite possible I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for any help that you guys can provide!

• OpenVPN DNS: VPN DNS stomping local VPN

  I've finally noodled with OpenVPN enough to get it working. Even better, I can mount samba drives, ping network machines through the TUN device, etc - it's all great. However, I'm noticing that if I have the directive: push "dhcp-option DNS 10.0.1.1" # Push our local DNS to clients Then some of the machines that are normally visible by the client, on the client's side (i.e., not through the VPN) get masked with some other server out on the Internet. Is there any way to avoid this, besides hacking the 'hosts' file on the client machine? Ideally I'd like to only use my VPN's DNS for machines within that domain.

• Installing SSL Certificate for use in IIS7, installation "works", but cert listing disappears

  Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS7. We have an SSL cert from Go Daddy. It's a wildcard cert, so it will work across subdomains (e.g. *.domain.com). I followed the instructions located at http://help.godaddy.com/topic/742/article/4801 for installing the certificate. I get to the IIS step, where I: Click on "Security Certificates" feature when the server is selected in the left pane Click on "Complete Certificate Request" Navigate to the .crt file on the file system Give it a "friendly" name, click finish The cert gets listed on the main pane now of this "Server Certificates" panel. But, if I refresh the page, or navigate away and come back, it's gone. And the cert is not listed as a viable binding when trying to bind a site to https. This seems like a pretty straight forward process, but clearly I'm missing something here. Any ideas?

  I search on the Internet, but i am unable to find, Why this error is coming? It has flooded my Event Viewer, after interval of 1 minutes, this Error pops-up. • Squid, NTLM, Windows 7 and IE8

  I'm running Squid 2.7-stable4, Samba 3 and the Windows 7 RC with IE8. I have NTLM authentication setup on my squid proxy server and it works fine for every combination of browser and Windows (including IE8 on XP and Firefox on Win7), but it doesn't work (keeps asking for authentication) for IE8 on Windows 7. I can get it to work using the LmCompatibilityLevel registry hack, but I'd really prefer to get it working on the server. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or know where to start looking? The samba logs don't reveal much.   ASA Spoke to Spoke Communication I have been looking at spke to spoke comms or "hairpining" for months and have posted on numerouse forums but to no avail. I have a Hub and spoke network where the HUB is an ASA Firewall version 8.2 * I basicaly want to allow 2 spokes to be able to communicate with each other. • MS Windows Server 2008R2 slow file copy, slow network connection

  i just setup a windows 2008R2 standard server, with the only installed app being Hyper-V, and only 1 windows XP VM is running. Whenever i try to copy a file from my windows 7 laptop over to the 2008R2 server machine's admin shares ( \\servername\c$ ) the files start transferring around 60mb/s and then drop to around 5mb/s. My windows 7 machine and the server 2008 machine are both in WORKGROUP (no domain here). when i try the same transfer to our server 2003 box the transfer speeds are fine. tried disabling autotuning (netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled) as well as turning off the checksum offload to the adapter (tx and rx) - i still see strange packet errors (bad header checksum) using wireshark and just cannot seem to track down what the issue is - over 1 hour to transfer 4gb of files from 1 server to another that are on the same GB switch is just crazy.... any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  Whenever I run the Best Practice Analyzer on a Windows 2012 server with IIS installed, I receive the error: "There has been a Best Practice Analyzer error for Model Id 'Microsoft/Windows/WebServer'. The Result file has not yet been generated. Please perform the scan first and try again." I'm doing this from the "Local Server" section of the Server Manager. I'm logged in as with a domain credential that has administrative rights on the server. I don't know how to generate the result file or where it would be located. I have 4 servers, all with IIS and this is happening on all of them. The servers are practically brand new so there isn't anything really exceptional about their setup. Any suggestions on how to generate the result file? Thanks in advance.

  After upgrading a domain from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, I cannot access the public folders from Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. I can access the public folders from OWA. The error message in Outlook 2003 is: Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location. Could not open the item. Try again. So far, trying again has not helped. :-P According to the Outlook RPC diagnostic window, Outlook is connecting to the Exchange 2010 server when it tries to get the public folders.

  I have an existing Exchange 2003 server running on Windows Server 2003. I am in the process of replacing our current server infrastructure and virtualizing it all in Hyper-V. I have Essential Business Server 2008 installed in 3 separate VMs and running. Everything seems to be working fine so far. I am now trying to migrate my exchange mailboxes over to the new exchange server in the messaging server and every time I try I get this error: MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make admin interface connection to server. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227) I have done some searching and found solutions like adding the computer to the exchange domain servers groups and install group, also making sure the user logged into the new server is in the proper groups. I also saw a solution in making sure that any unused NICs are disabled. I've tried all that to no avail.

  SERVER1 - SBS 2011 SERVER2 - Windows Server 2008r2 I'm using DFS-R. Changes work perfectly from 1 to 2 but nothing propagates from 2 to 1. When I attempt to run: dfsrdiag staticrpc /port:5001 /member:SERVER2 I get the error: [ERROR] Failed to connect to WMI services on computer: SERVER2.domain That command works just fine in the other direction. I've completely disabled the firewall on both ends. SERVER1 pings SERVER2 just fine. RPC Service is running on both servers. WMI Service is running on both servers.

• Dual NIC Networking CentOS 5.3 (losing connection)

  I have a CentOS System with two NICs on it. One is Ethernet the other is Wireless. The Ethernet has an address of 192.168.1.110 and is tied to a LAN. (The LAN provides DHCP and DNS for its domain of 192.168.1.*) The Wireless card should have an address of 131.238.. and is tied to the WAN. For some evil reason, I can get the WAN to work for a short amount of time then it suddenly dies. I have to turn on/off the connection to get it to work again. Any suggestions?

  I've moved an older Sendmail/Dovecot system to a Zimbra community edition system. I need to be able to receive messages from certain standalone Linux hosts that may not have valid A records or proper reverse DNS entries established (e.g. AT&T is the ISP or systems sitting on a consumer-level ISP). Establishing the reverse DNS or setting a SMARTHOST is not an option. The error I get in zimbra.log is: zimbra postfix/smtp[2200]: DB83B231B53: to=<root@host_name.baddomain.com>, relay=none, delay=0.07, delays=0.06/0/0/0, dsn=5.4.4, status=bounced (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=host_name.baddomain.com type=A: Host not found How can I override this? Is this more of a Postfix issue or is it Zimbra? edit - The problem seems to be with an underscore in the hostname of the server. So it's a problem with root@host_name.baddomain.com. Again, how can I override this in Zimbra?

• Project Server 2007 install issue - ProjectEventService won't start

  Trying to install PS2007 with SP1 on Server 2003. The install goes fine, but when running the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, it fails at stage 6 of 12 with the error: Failed to register SharePoint Services. An exception of type System.InvalidOperationException was thrown. Additional exception information: Cannot start service ProjectEventService on computer '.'. From the PSCDiagnostics log: Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot start service ProjectEventService on computer '.'. --- System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. The ProjectEventService (Microsoft Office Project Server Event) won't even start manually using the Network Service account. Starting the service with a domain account works, but subsequently running the Config Wizard causes the service to be removed and re-provisioned to run using the Network Service account, which again fails. Presumably Network Service needs elevated permissions, but even adding it to the local Admin group makes no difference. Anyone come across this sort of issue before?

  I have my sendmail.cf file configured to send local mail and to receive external mail to local users. So sending mail from the server to the external world works fine, but the other way around does not... I get an error e-mail saying: Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: [email protected] Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 root@75.xxx.xxx.xxx... Relaying denied (state 14). Also I can't find logs in /var/log, all I see is this binary file in /var/log/mail/statistics Thanks!

  Hi, I've got a HAProxy LB solution setup and working correctly. All HTTP traffic on port 80 is being passed through succesfully. I'm now trying to get SSL traffic to work (in TCP mode and on just one server for now) however I keep getting the following error when testing via openssl: 26396:error:140770FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:unknown protocol:s23_clnt.c:588: However, when I try the same test (openssl s_client -connect) on the web servers IP address and hostname, everything seems to look OK. I can setup a hosts record locally and confirm that the browsers are picking up the SSL certificate succesfully for the domain.   I am going insane with an error I am encountering while trying to install a PV Guest of Debian Wheezy on a Ubuntu Server precise Xen default build with libvirt. The steps I take with virt-manager are the following: 1.Net install via: http://ftp.es.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/main/installer-amd64/ 2.Install process is flawless, installed via VNC over virt-manager 3.When the VM starts I get the following error: Error starting domain: POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err "Bootloader isn't executable") Most answers i have found on google say that I need to edit the VM's .cfg file and correct the path to pygrub but virt-manager does not seem to create this file (I have searched the entire drive with "find". Another detail is that virsh list --all shows no VMs (Not even dom0) while the command xm list shows all of them. Any help is much appreciated. EDIT: Connected remotely via virsh: virsh -c xen+ssh://user@ip dumpxml vmname Found line: /usr/bin/pygrub ln -s /usr/lib/xen-4.1/bin/pygrub /usr/bin/pygrub Now it works.   I've got a funny problem connecting to an AOS server. I got a domain network containing a (VM) Server running the Application Object Server (AOS). Client computer A) can connect to the AOS without problems and work. When client computer B) tries to connect, all I get is this error message: Logon Error Connection with the Application Object Server could not be established. The event log of Client B) does not contain any messages about this. Firewalls are off on all three computers (by GP). Tcp/ip from cliebt B) to the AOS server does run fine. Both clients run the same OS (win 7 RC), sit on the same subnet, next to each other. Yesterday it all worked, today just one computer can connect. Any ideas what might cause this problem, how to resolve it, or how to debug it?

• Cannot access local resource (C drive) on remote desktop

  I've recently upgraded my client PC to Windows 7, and ever since I can't get local resource sharing for remote desktop to work. I'm connecting to a 2003 server which isn't is my current domain. All my optical and virtual drives are being shared, but the C drive stays hidden. I checked the options, and do indicate that I want to share my C drive. Is there any permission I should change for this to work? The server is configured correctly because when connecting from an XP client this problem doesn't occur. I've tried accessing the share directly by opening the \\tsclient\c path, but this doesn't work neither. \\tsclient only shows the other drives. Also copy 'n paste doesn't seem to work neither(tried restarting rdpclip to no avail), getting Cannot copy file File.dat, the device is not connected.

  I want to change the model of my EC2 hosted service to have a separate sub domain for each tenant (ie. .example.com). My primary DNS is now with dnsmadeeasy.com, but their dynamic DNS offering seem pretty weak: it requires the API to use my full dnsmadeeasy.com account credentials, I rather have the API use a limited privilege credential that can only add/remove/modify subdomain records from what I gather it only allows to modify existing records, does not allow me to dynamically add/remove records for new tenant subdomains My question what are my alternatives? Is there something in the dnsmadeeasy API offering I misunderstood and I should just use them? Is there some other similar DNS service that has a DDNS offering that satisfies my requirements? Or should I just bite the bullet and host my own DNS (my fear is not configuration/learning/know how, my fear is reliability). If you recommend the latter, can you detail the necessary steps or a link to a good tutorial how to?

I have control over both .net and .com servers in these examples. I know I can do the same with ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse, but I'm trying to get my head around this one. Edit: Main Question: How do I show a maintenance page, without changing URL in the browser? On same domain, or across different domains?

  Our company had resently upgraded to a domain functionality from workgroup and now we get this error message shown below on the clients laptops. The software on the server is working as it was opening the SECWARE application and a successful login to the database is possible.But from our workstations we cannot access the database to get the login screen. error in DB_OpenDS: ERROR [08001] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. ERROR [01000] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (Connect()). OpenFolder Error :ERROR [08001] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
