• Hidden WCF endpoints

  For the sake of arguement, lets say that I've got a basicHttp WCF service. Besides implementing authentication (login/logout methods), what is stopping someone from just cracking open Visual Studio, adding a web reference to my website's service, and then playing playing around with my service? I'm not familiar with a method of stopping someone from doing this. The idea of someone downloading all of my Data/Operation contracts and then start playing around is keeping me up at night, and I like my sleep!

• Get script of SQL Server data

  I'm looking for a way to do something analogous to the MySql dump from SQL Server. I need to be able to pick the tables and export the schema and the data (or I can export the schema via SQL Server Management Studio and export the data separately somehow). I need this data to be able to turn around and go back into SQL Server so it needs to maintain GUIDs/uniqueidentifiers and other column types. Does anyone know of a good tool for this?

I like the VS syntax highlighting and auto-indentation features but additionally would like advanced features like: contextual info and help, collapsible JavaScript blocks, implicit symbol understanding for searching, refactoring and that kind of thing; also warnings and errors for the js code. It's easy to schedule automated check-in's into svn from a folder, but scheduling the export from SQL in SQL Management Studio is Right click target database, choose Tasks Generate Scripts. Follow the wizard and presto you've got scripts in a folder. Is it possible to extract a single script that the wizard generates, and stuff that into a stored proc which I can run nightly? Ideas?
