• where to put the unittest for library in rails

  Hello, I am a ruby and rails newbie. And I am working on a rails application with RadRails. RadRails has a "Switch to Test" function for my controller, model, etc. but not for my library. if I have class Foo::Bar in /lib/foo/bar.rb, where should I put the unittest for it? or should I separate the foo library in a separated project?   hi i have a weird problem and here we go: i am redirecting using this command : return RedirectToAction("ViewMessage", "Account", new {id = model.MessageId}); but in ViewMessage action when i try to get id, its null ?!?!?!?!?? string strMessageId = RouteData.Values["id"] as string; i have done this code in lots of places and it works fine but i dont know what is going on here.... :( i know i can use TempData but i dont want to :)

  I am using following route map routes.MapRoute( "RenderAssociatedForm", "DoAction/{nodeLevelId}/{nodeSystemId}", new { controller = "FrontEnd", action = "RenderAssociatedForm", }); Now nodeLevelId can be anything like zs\bbal. As we know that we should escape '\', so we are using 'zs%5cbbal'. But still the following url is not mapping to this route. //localhost/DoAction/zs%5cbbal/5 When I try simple Id without the escape character, it maps properly. Can anybody tell me where I am going wrong?

• Sub-viewController doesn't get autorotation notifications, bug?

  If I have a view (and its controller) and I override the willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method so I can respond to autorotation events everything works fine and dandy. Now if I create another viewController and add its view to the first viewController's view via: [firstViewController.view addSubview:secondViewController.view] The secondViewController's willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation method isn't called. I've made this one movieclip that loads html text through as, and it works fine when I drag it to the stage; but if I do var trackListingBox:trackListingScreen = new trackListingScreen(); addChild(trackListingBox); it either doesn't run the actionscript, or it's somehow broken. Can children not run their own action script?

• disable horizontal scrolling by finger swipe

  This may just be a mac issue, but I have a page with an element which is twice the size of the page and is moved into view dynamically. in my css I have overflow-x:hidden set so that this element won't create an ugly bottom scollbar, the problem is on my laptop (and probably on ipads and other devices) I can just swipe with two fingers to scroll and view this content. This breaks the whole layout and looks really bad, and I am looking for a way to completely disable this horizontal scrolling action with javascript or css. Thank you
