    I have a WPF ListBox control (view code) and I am keeping maybe like 100-200 items in it. Every time the ObservableCollection it is bound to changes though it takes it a split second to update and it freezes the whole UI. Is there a way to add elements incrementally or something I can do to improve the performance of this control?

    I have a partial view (UserControl) that implements a simple pager in my Asp.Net MVC project. This pager needs access to a .js file that needs to be included exactly once, regardless of how many instances of the pager control are present on the parent page. I've tried to use Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptInclude, but it had no effect (I assume because the code nugget was evaluated too late to impact the head control). Is there any simple alternative?

    I wanted to allow for a method to get called, if a finger was dragged from outside into the bounds of a control. I thought UIControlEventTouchDragEnter would do it, but it doesn't seem to. Does anyone know if there is a way to trigger an action based on a tap sliding into a control? What is chances ??

    Annoyingly, the jquery ui's set a few css properties inline, making it impossible to override them in the stylesheet. I tried to override the values with jquery, but then they get changed back as soon as the control is interacted with. Does anyone know if any of the jquery ui control's initialisers/constructors have the ability to override their z-index value or set other css properties?
