• Gamma Distribution in Boost

  Hello, I'm trying to use the Gamma distribution from boost::math but it looks like it isn't possible to use it with boost::variate_generator. Could someone confirm that? Or is there a way to use it. I discovered that there is a boost::gamma_distribution undocumented that could probably be used too but it only allows to choose the alpha parameter from the distribution and not the beta. Thanks!

  Hello, I am looking for an SDK or API that I could utilize to simply grab a Bitmap or Byte[] from the fingerprint reader. Most of the SDKs out there do much more than this and require expensive licensing which I don't want. I will be integrating this into a .NET windows application. One requirement, it needs to work with a Futronics FS80 which is a very popular fingerprint reader. Any suggestions?

  Hello, I've got a sql statement, but I can't get it working in linq. Can someone show me how I can write the following sql statement as linq? SELECT * FROM mobileApplication LEFT JOIN videoMobile ON mobileApplication.id = videoMobile.mobileApplicationId AND videoMobile.videoId = 257 It's a left join with a where statement on the right table. It works in sql server 2005, but I'd like to write it in linq.

  Hello, I'm a bit confused about Javascript undefined & null. Firstly what does if (!testvar) actually do? Does it test for undefined and null or just undefined? Secondly, once a variable is defined can I clear it back to undefined (therefore deleting the variable).   Hello, I have a texfield bound to an ArrayController. The controller key is "selection" because I select items from a NSTableView. But when there are no items in the table the textfield shows the gray text "no selection". How can I suppress this text and have just an empty textfield? Or how can I change the "No selection" text to something else?

Ofcourse i can write code which check returned value on null reference but then code will be overly verbose. What is graceful way to do that?

I have a vb.net web form with a html editor, when I add a hyperlink to the html editor, for example my application website for instance http://myapplication/myloginpage.aspx When I run and click the link I can browse my application from inside the Html Editor, which is so weird.
