  • AST generation for a an application developed both in visual basic and c#

    Hi, I'm currently understanding one application developed both in visual basic and c#. Running through the code is getting tough as code is around 50KLOC. So i'm planning for generation of AST (abstract syntax tree). Will it be possible to generate for both language together. Atleast a call graph generation will be helpful (but can't find any tool which works for both languages) Please let me know if this question is confusing. Thanks in Advance Dev

    I'm using BAS in a Cocoa app with a custom prompt for admin password... But now I want to change the prompt. I changed it in the strings file and it doesn't change. I rebuilt everything and deleted the sockets in /var/run and the launchdaemon and privelegedhelpertools folders. But the prompt just won't change!!! Help?

    I have worked with random functions in python,ruby, MATLAB, Bash and Java. Nearly every programming language has a function to generate Random numbers. However, these apparently random sequences are termed as pseudo-random number sequences as the generation follows a deterministic approach, and the sequence seems to repeat (usually with a very large period). My question, can an algorithmic/programming process ever yield true random numbers ? The questions probably is more of theoretical computer science than just programming !

    I keep getting the ERROR: near "PassWord": syntax error when trying to execute the ExecSQL() statement. The command looks good in the output of the text file. Then i generate another file and save it to the same location. This file can be downloaded by the user. But if an actual user would be using my application, where should the location point to?
