    How c++ compiler understands the pointer type? As I know pointer has a size equal to WORD of the OS (32 or 64). So does it store dome info in that 32(or 64) bits about type? Just because you can not have a pointer on one type and assign to that pointer another pointer with a different type.

I am testing it by doing curl -d "d=test" http://localhost:8888/ Does anybody know how to get that data in groovy?

    What is the best way to produce several tables of unknown size on the same worksheet? Values will be pulled from an oracle database and are used as values on several tables. Is it possible to create dynamic named ranges or is some other method desirable? I have some experience with c# but do not have access to VSTO 2005.     By what i understand String and StringBuilder objects both allocate contiguous memory underneath. My program runs for days buffering several output in a String object. This sometimes cause outofmemoryexception which i think is because of non availability of contiguous memory. my string size can go upto 100MBs and i m concatenating new string frequently this causes new string object being allocated. i can reduce new string object creation by using Stringbuilder but that would not solve my problem entirely Is there an alternative to a contiguous string object?

  • Total Number of records required in paged .NET datagrid control

    I am using a data grid and has bound a data source with it. I am trying to get the total number of records in the grid in overriden InitializePager method from pagedDataSource DataSourceCount. I thought DataSourceCount returns number of records from SelectCountMethod of ObjectDataSource, but DataSourceCount is giving me the page size and not the total number of records, whereas when I debug and see in SelectCountMethod it is returning correct number of total Records. I am not sure how to get the data from SelectCountMethod in DataGrid.

  • Best options for image resizing

    Hi, I have resize images exceeding a max size. Methods I tried so far are not good enough :-( System.Drawing.Image.GetThumbnailImage generates very poor quality images in general. Playing with options like this one I can generate better images in quality but heavier than the original one. Probably the second option (or something similar) is the best option and I would need to resize using the proper options. Any advice?
