• My treeview Data is Not changing.

  Hai , I am trying to display the user permission in a treeview.For each user permissions are stored in the database as xml file. In the page, a Combo box used to list the users and a treeView used to bind the Permission xml. When the user get selected in the combo box , i took the xml from the database and connect with xmlDatasource and bind with the treeView. What happening is , First time the TreeView fill with the xml nodes and another time it will not work. For the first selection it's ok. Anothers selections are not effected by the treeview. The code is debugging. No problem. Can you just tell ,why the treeview datasource is not updating. I used this code .. • nth-of-type only working for 1 and 2

  I have a styling problem, I am using WordPress and want to do have the first two classes completely different to the others. My ideal situation is to have: .si-biplace:nth-of-type(3) { float:left; margin:20px 0px 0px 0px; } .si-image:nth-of-type(3) { float:left; margin:20px 0px 0px 0px; border:0px; } .si-title:nth-of-type(3) { width:100px; height:20px; margin:0px; font-size:7px; color:#FFFFFF; font-weight:bold; } They seem to work fine when it is: .si-biplace { float:left; margin:-10px 0px 0px 0px; } .si-biplace:nth-of-type(2) { float:left; margin:-10px 0px 0px 15px; } Is there a reason why it will not work with nth-of-type(3) but will with nth of type 2? I basically want different attributes for every next time the div is used but cannot have separate div classes as it runs through a php array.

A client of mine would like to redirect users to different front-ends of his eCommerce site based on a hit-counter (possibly a timer?). important: -The content is moderately different in the two sites, enough to consider them two different websites. Knowing this client he will likely add more drastic content changes and other front-ends. So for this question consider the content to be -This site has a rather large back-end. With affiliate networking, multiple payment gateways, order-tracking, and several other features in the works. It is essential that these two front-ends have identical back-end functionality I know that if it was just a simple CSS swap this would be as simple as an if statement that ran off some kind of counter stored in a DB... but the different HTML markup is throwing me for a loop. Q: How can I serve two different front-ends (HTML/CSS) based on a hit counter? Also, I don't have any clue what to tag this one as...

• onItemClick gives index/ position of item on visible page ... not actual index of the item in list .

  hi, I am creating a list .. the elements of the list are drawn from sqlite database .. I populate the list using ArrayList and ArrayAdapter ...upon clicking the items on the list I want to be able to fire an intent containing info about the item clicked ... info like the index number of the item .. using the method : onItemClick(AdapterView av, View v, int index, long arg) I do get index of the item clicked . however it is of the list currently displayed . the problem comes when I do setFilterTextEnabled(true) , and on the app type in some text to to search some item ..and then click it ..rather than giving me the index of the item on the original list it gives me the index on filtered list.. following is the snippet of code: myListView.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() { public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> av, View v, int index, long arg) { Intent lyricsViewIntent = new Intent(iginga.this, LyricsPage.class); lyricsViewIntent.putExtra("title", songList.get((int)arg).getTitle()); lyricsViewIntent.putExtra("id", songList.get((int)arg).getSongId()); startActivity(lyricsViewIntent); } }); myListView.setTextFilterEnabled(true); Is there any way I can get the original index /position of the item instead of the one showing in filtered text ...when filtered.

• How to check at runtime if a class implements certain interface?

  Let's say I have some content classes like Page, TabGroup, Tab, etc. Certain of those will be implementing my IWidgetContainer interface - it means they will geet an additional field named ContainedItems from the interface and some methods for manipulating this field. Now I need to reflect the fact that some class implements this interface by rendering out some special custom controls in my ASP.NET MVC Views (like jQuery Add/Remove/Move/Reorder buttons). For instance, TabGroup will implement IWidgetContainer because it will contain tabs but a tab will not implement it because it won't have the ability to contain anything. So I have to somehow check in my view, when I render my content objects (The problem is, I use my base class as strong type in my view not concrete classes), whether it implements IWidgetContainer. How is that possible or have I completely missed something? To rephrase the question, how do you reflect some special properties of a class (like interface implementation) in the UI in general (not necessarily ASP.NET MVC)? • In Silverlight 3 how can I get the call to HtmlPage.Plugin.SetStyleAttribute() call to call other co

  I'm trying to take a snapshot of my Silverlight control using WriteableBitmap and it works fine, however, it only takes a snapshot of what is showing. I'm trying to resize the Silverlight control so it will show everything and then take a screenshot, however, the code doesn't resize the control until after the code after the call all runs which is the snapshot code... I can get this work using a timer to fire the snapshot after the other code has caused the resize but I'm wondering if there is a better way. The HtmlPage.Plugin.SetStyleAttribute call has to be called from the UI thread so I'm assuming that's where the problem is. The fact that it is being dispatched onto the UI thread while the rest of the code is not and so the other code is being run first. Is there anyway to create a new event or attach to the call to determine when it has been run to then fire off my snapshot code? • artisteer wp-theme metadata (date, category) lost

  I am going nuts over wordpress and artisteer. I am trying something that used to be pretty straightforward - turning on and off the display of date and post category for my posts on my blog page. I find this in content.php global $post; theme_post_wrapper( array( 'id' => theme_get_post_id(), 'class' => theme_get_post_class(), 'title' => theme_get_meta_option($post->ID, 'theme_show_page_title') ? get_the_title() : '', 'heading' => theme_get_option('theme_single_article_title_tag'), 'before' => theme_get_metadata_icons('date', 'header'), 'content' => theme_get_content() ) ); And the instruction says that all you got to do is insert or remove 'date' in the 'before' line. I've done it back and forth with my content files and nothing changes on the output. I can't find the actual code that prints it all, wordpress used to be so simple before everything was dug down 10 levels deep and you now have to look through millions of different functions to find the simplest things... As you can probably tell, I usually don't work with WP =) But this is on my table now and I haven't stayed up to date with WP for a couple of years... Any input as to where I can find the variables is appreciated... I had expected to at some point find 'posted at '.echo($date).' in category '.echo($category) or something at least remotely similar...

• odd url, and difficulty in following the php page flow

  I'm trying to understand code that I bought so I can modify it. In the index.php there are picture links: <a href="test10,10"><img title="" border=1 src="makethumb.php?pic=product_images/test101.jpg&amp;w=121&amp;sq=N" / ></a> I don't understand the href since it is not pointing to a page. test10 is an id of a picture. I assumed it was going back to the index.php and the code would extract the test10,10 from the url, but it's not. I know that because I put in trace code as the first line. The question is, where is the link going to? I know it that it somewhere in the process it executes a page called profile.php, but nowhere in the source code (doing a global search) is there an explicit call to profile.php. As a related question, is there a way to profile the code to see what pages it's calling without using xdebug, which for the life of me I can't get working after many hours of trying every suggestion I found here and else where. (I'm using xampp) thanks

  I'm using Kohana 3 and it's template controller. The problem is that it requires the style- and script files to be added in the controller, which shouldn't really have to care about those. It also makes it a hassle if the views are done by someone else than me since they would have to fool around with the controller just to add a new stylesheet or a new script file. How can this be done in a better way? Just to clearify, what I am wondering is how to deal with page specific stylesheets and scripts. The default and site-wide ones I have no problem with fetching from a config file or just put directly in the template view. My issue is how to add custom ones for specific pages in a good way.

  The code below is from the Matlab 2011a help about fft function. I think there is a problem here : why do they multiply t(1:50) by Fs, and then say it's time in millisecond ? Certainly, it happens to be true in this very particular case, but change the value of Fs to, say, 2000, and it won't work anymore, obviously because of this factor of 2. Right ? Quite misleading, isn't it ? What do I miss ?   I'm pretty new to Joins so hope this all makes sense. I'm joining 4 tables and want to create a while loop that spits out results nested under different categories. • Two "Calendar" entries listed on iPad - can't write to calendar using EventKit

  My iOS app integrates with the device's calendar. On my iPad when I view the calendar app and tap the Calendars button on the top left to choose which calendars to show I see one entry named "Calendar". In my app when I loop through available calendars per the code below "Calendar" is listed twice. One is CalDAV for the type, the other is Local. I'm unable to create calendar entries in one of them, I believe the "Local" one, not sure why. • I need help solving a rather weird error in a WCF service.

  Hi.. I have a solution that contains three projects. A main project with my MVC app, a silverlight application and a (silverlight enabled) WCF service project. In my silverlight project i have made a Service Reference to my WCF service. And i pretty much got that working. In my WCF service i have a method that returns an Book object, which got some random fields like title, date etc. In the book class, i have a ICollection field that contains a list of events. The book class is generated using entity framework 4.0, and Lazy Loading is enabled. If i in my getBook(int id) method return a book with the events field not initialized, it works as a charm. But if i initialize the field, i'm getting this error. The server did not provide a meaningful reply; this might be caused by a contract mismatch, a premature session shutdown or an internal server error. I have a few ideas why that is happening, and while writing this i just got another one. The wcf service somehow threw away the reference to the event class. That would be very weird since i have a reference between my main mvc app (with the models) and my WCF service. Since i have enabled lazy loading in EF 4.0, i suspect that it may be the thing generating the error. But i'm not sure why that would be, because i'm not in any way accessing that field. I could understand that i may not be able to access the events field after i recive the object in my silverlight application since the connection between the book object and the entity framework is like broken. Did i mention that Lazy Loading is enabled on my EF instance? And there is no inner exception in the thrown exception. Thanks in advance. Malte Baden Hansen

  I am still not sure whether the title of my question is correct and it most probably is not. However I have spent some time searching both the net and stackoverflow and I can not find a good description of the issue I am facing. Basically what I want to achieve is the ability to read some raw bytes and based on the value of some of them to interpret the rest in different ways. This is how TLV works in a way, you check the tag and depending on it - interpret the result. Of course I can always keep that logic in my C++ code, however I am looking for a solution which would move the logic out of the source code (maybe to some xml description). This would allow me to describe different encodings (protocols) more easily. I am familiar with Protocol Buffers and some other serialization libraries, however all of them solve different issue. They assume they are on both ends of the communication, while I want to describe the communication (sort of). Is such solution available, if no - why not? Are there some inherent difficulties I will face trying to implement it.

• Images from url to listview

  I have a listview which I show video results from YouTube. Everything works fine but one thing I noticed is that the way it works seems to be a bit slow and it might be due to my code. Are there any suggestions on how I can make this better? Maybe loading the images directly from the url instead of using a webclient? I am adding the listview items in a loop from video feeds returned from a query using the YouTube API. It works but what I'm concerned about is speed..any suggestions? maybe a different control all together?

• Broken JS Loop with Google Maps...

  My code is below, and I had an issue with nearly the same code, and it was fixed here on StackOverflow, but, again, its not working. I haven't changed the working code, but i did wrap it in the for...in loop youll see below. • How can I programmatically position a view using relative points?

  What is the best way to position a view relative to the size of its superview, when the bounds of the superview are not yet known? I am trying to avoid hard-coding coordinates if it is at all possible. Perhaps this is silly, and if so, that's a perfectly acceptable answer. I've run into this many times when working with custom UI. The most recent example is that I'm trying to replace the UINavigationItem plain-text title with a custom view. I want that view to fill the superview, but in addition, I want a UIActivityIndicatorView on the right side, inset about 2 pixels and centered vertically.   Hello, im new in Python so im hoping to to get some help to figure out what is going wrong. Im trying to run a Pygames from within wxPython panel (made on Boa Constructor). To do that i followed the instructions on the http://wiki.wxpython.org/IntegratingPyGame but still it isn't working.
