    Hi, I would like Eclipse to automatically save every time I edit a file, in much the same way that it builds automatically. Because I've been using IntelliJ for the last year (which saves automatically by default), I keep having the following problem: Make some changes in Eclipse Forget to press save Run the build, unit tests, and notice some strange behaviour (Some time later....) realise that the unexpected behaviour occurred because I forgot to save the changes Is there any way I can make Eclipse save automatically?     How do you code a function that takes in a block of code as a parameter that contains case statements? For instance, in my block of code, I don't want to do a match or a default case explicitly. I am looking something like this myApi { case Whatever() => // code for case 1 case SomethingElse() => // code for case 2 } And inside of my myApi(), it'll actually execute the code block and do the matches.     Hi all, for a project we will be doing webbased certificate enrollment, in Vista / Win7 combination with IE this gives some problems if the user does not import the root certificate first and then changes a lot of default IE settings (Enable ActiveX not marked safe for scripting etc....). I was wondering if any of you ever created a test VB or Javascript to test that all the settings are OK. So it can be used by the user before he starts the enrollment process.... greetings, Tim

    NSXMLTypeStore is used when starting Core Data backed application by default because it's good for debugging purposes. But practice dictates that developer should use either NSBinaryStoreType, NSInMemoryStoreType or NSSQLiteStoreType store types in release builds. How do you manage changes between debug and release builds? I believe that changing store type from NSXMLTypeStore to, say, NSBinaryStoreType in code on each release is kinda cumbersome.

  • How can I reload a datagrid in flash action script, after an xml file has loaded

    Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how to change the rowcount of a datagrid in flash after it has been created on the stage. I am loading an xml file externally that contains the number of rows the datagrid should have, but the problem is that becuase this file is not loaded at runtime, it just picks the default 3 items. Maybe I have to reload the datagrid on the stage, or loop until it is defined. Does anyone have experince of this. Regards, Chris

  • QT QFileDialog how to hide hidden/backup folders (".folder")

    Basically when browsing folders inside a QFileDialog I find very annoying to have everything bloated with hidden or backup folders (don't know how to call them really); specially on home. Is there a way to prevent these type of folders from showing by default on a QFileDialog? I'm using Qt4.6 and getOpenFileName. P.D.: I'm starting to think this might be an ubuntu thing...?

    I have login/signup popups on my site which are in hidden div by default. According to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1547426/google-seo-and-hidden-elements googlebot should NOT see it. But Google Webmaster tool says that keywords "email" and "password" are top keywords over the site. Why it is so? Why google bot sees them? Should I worry about relevancy of top keywords at all?
