  • Django site on Nginx+FastCGI goes (504 gateway timeout)

    Sometimes my whole Django based site goes into 504 gateway timeout errors so none page can be displayed. Is it possible to write a shell program and cronjob it run every 5 minutes to detect such errors and restart FastCGI process if needed? I'm currently using command below to restart FastCGI in case it's crashed but it doesn't work for above situation because when 504 gateway errors occur, the processes are still running. ps ax | grep -v grep | grep port=8001 > /dev/null || restart_fcgi.sh

    I added the following code to my .vimrc: " save and restore folds when a file is closed and re-opened autocmd BufWinLeave *.* mkview autocmd BufWinEnter *.* silent loadview HTML and CSS documents save and restore their folds but code folding is not being saved in my .vimrc Any suggestions? EDIT: The following code solves the problem: au BufWinLeave ?* mkview au BufWinEnter ?* silent loadview but if I write it, the MRU files disappear from my list (and I have to open MRU twice in order to see my list of recent files why?)

    I need to split a string into chunks of 2,2,3,3 characters and was able to do so in Perl by using unpack: unpack("A2A2A3A3", 'thisisloremipsum'); However the same function does not work in PHP, it gives this output: Array ( [A2A3A3] => th ) How can I do this by using unpack?     The documentation for the .NET Semaphore class states that: There is no guaranteed order, such as FIFO or LIFO, in which blocked threads enter the semaphore. In this case, if I want a guaranteed order (either FIFO or LIFO), what are my options? Is this something that just isn't easily possible? Would I have to write my own Semaphore?
