• Twitter Authentication through Android's AccountManager classes.

  I am working on a twitter based app and am trying to incorporate Android's built-in Account support for Twitter. The following code works to popup the confirmation dialog for my app to access twitter but I am unsure of what to pass in as the authenticationType. Any help would be appreciated. I've googled all over the place and can't seem to find the correct answer. It goes in place of "oauth" below.   I'm trying to create SELECT statement with a GROUP BY clause, which should return "default values". • c99 goto past initialization

  While debugging a crash, I came across this issue in some code: int func() { char *p1 = malloc(...); if (p1 == NULL) goto err_exit; char *p2 = malloc(...); if (p2 == NULL) goto err_exit; ... err_exit: free(p2); free(p1); return -1; } The problem occurs when the first malloc fails. Because we jump across the initialization of p2, it contains random data and the call to free(p2) can crash. I would expect/hope that this would be treated the same way as in C++ where the compiler does not allow a goto to jump across an initialization. My question: is jumping across an initialization allowed by the standard or is this a bug in gcc's implementation of c99?

I'm wondering if is there a way to force MSSQL Management Studio to produce a script like this: ALTER TABLE Mytable ADD MyCol bit NOT NULL CONSTRAINT MyColDefault DEFAULT 0 WITH VALUES ALTER TABLE [dbo].Mytable ALTER COLUMN MyCol2 int NULL GO when I alter a very simple property of a column on a table. If I do this in the designer and ask for the produced script, the script doesn't do such simple tasks, but instead copies all the data in a tmp table, drops the original table, renames the tmp table with the original table name. And, of course, drops and recreates every constraint and relationships. Is there any option I can change to change this behaviour? Or, this may be possible, is there some danger I don't see in using the simple ALTER TABLE above? thanks.

• Uploading file to DropBox causing UnlinkedException

  I am currently working on android project and trying to enable DropBox functionality. I've selected the access type to App Only, and I can successfully authenticate and it creates an Apps directory and inside that creates a directory with the name of my app. When I then try to put a file in the DropBox directory it goes into the DropBoxException catch and in the logcat prints com.dropbox.client2.exception.DropboxUnlinkedException. I've done a google and from what I've seen this happens if the apps directory has been deleted and so authentication is required to be re-done, but this isn't the case, I have deleted it and I am putting the file straight after doing the authentication. Below is the code that retrieves the keys and stores the file on dropbox.   My custom controls are not loading in VS.NET's designer because of a null reference exception. It's got everything to do with the way I am retrieving the baseUri of the application when it runs in the browser: _uriPrefix = Application.Current.Host.Source.AbsoluteUri.Substring(0, Application.Current.Host.Source.AbsoluteUri.IndexOf("/ClientBin")).Trim(); According to the exception details and the help file I'm directed to (here) I'm not correctly designing my app for a runtime that's not the browser (i.e. the new WPF editor in VS.NET or Expression Blend). So, the question is how do retrieve the baseUri (the http://localhost:#### part of my application) if I can't use Application.Host which apparently is null during design time? is there a safe way to do this so I can load my custom controls in a designer?

Usually I generate the target urls using url view helper, but for this I need to specify all params, so I would need to manually explode the string. • MVC Bootstrap: Autocomplete doesn't show properly

  I have a MVC website and it had a searchbox with autocomplete, now I changed the layout using bootstrap. But now the autocomplete isn't been shown correctly anymore. See the picture the suggestions are not shown right. the autocomplete goes through the text. I was fine before I used bootstrap. I've added the Graceful shutdown, which should allow me to shut the server down from a servlet; However, it does not work as you can see from the log. I've solved it this way: Server server = new Server( PORT ); server.setGracefulShutdown( 3000 ); server.setStopAtShutdown(true); ... server.start(); if( server.getThreadPool() instanceof QueuedThreadPool ){ ((QueuedThreadPool) server.getThreadPool()).setMaxIdleTimeMs( 2000 ); } setMaxIdleTimeMs() needs to be called after the start(), becase the threadPool is created in start(). However, the threads are already created and waiting, so it only applies after all threads are used at least once. I don't know what else to do except some awfulness like interrupting all threads or System.exit(). Any ideas? Is there a good way? Thanks, Ondra

I want to know a given file exists in the system before I tell the program to read from it.   I'm in the process of adding a Google Docs interface to my iPhone app, and I'm largely following the example in the GoogleDocs.m file from Tom Saxton's example app. The objective-c library I'm using is from http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/wiki/GDataObjCIntroduction The library file used is from gdata-objectivec-client-1.10.0.zip. I was hoping the localizedDescription would be more specific of the error. All I get for the error code value is -1, and the only description of the error is "Operation could not be completed. (com.google.GDataServiceDomain error -1.". Not very helpful. Does anyone know what a GDataServiceDomain error -1 is? Where can I find a full list of all error codes returned, and a description of what they mean?
