  • Edit very large xml files

    I would like to create a text box which loads xml files and let users edit them. However, I cannot use XmlDocument to load since the files can be very large. I am looking for options to stream/load the xml document in chunks so that I do not get out of memory errors -- at the same time, performance is important too. Could you let me know what would be good options?

    Hi, Is it possible that even if I'm using a class from a swc it does not get merged into my SWF? I have the SWC as external but as soon as I use any of the classes my swf size jumps. Secondly, if I'm making a preloader should I load the classes and swc in the mainproject or load the compiled swf ?

  • ADO Access Tab button

    Hello I moved my access apllication from DAO into ADO connection. It works better but I am encountering a problem when I enter a value in a form's field then I push the tab button the screen takes me to the first fields of the form and I lose my activecontrol which is the control of the field in which i enter the value. N.B.: If I clicked the cursor using the mouse after applying the value in the specified field, it works properly... Any help will highly appreciated

  • SQL Server 2008 and .Net 4.0?

    Does anyone konw whether I can load .net 4.0 assemblies from SQL Server 2008? In particular, we are looking at SQL Reporting, with Custom Data Extensions. I have noticed that hte SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Studio does not seem to support VS2010 at the moment. If I release my CDE's as .net 4.0 assemblies, will I even be able to load them from within the SQL Server Reporting Server?

  • What am I missing in this ASP.NET XSS Security Helper class?

    I need a generic method for preventing XSS attacks in ASP.NET. The approach I came up with is a ValidateRequest method that evaluates the HttpRequest for any potential issues, and if issues are found, redirect the user to the same page, but in a away that is not threatening to the application. (Source code below) While I know this method will prevent most XSS attacks, I am not certain that I am adequately preventing all possible attacks while also minimizing false positives. So, what is the most effective way to adequately prevent all possible attacks, while minimizing false positives?   • Deriving from a component and implementing IDisposable properly

    I have a Visual Studio 2008 C# .NET 2.0 CF project with an abstract class derived from Component. From that class, I derive several concrete classes (as in my example below). But, when I go to exit my Form, though the Form's Dispose() member is called and components.Dispose() is called, my components are never disposed.     I am trying to load properties from a file (test.properties) The code I use is as follows: URL url = getClass().getResource("../resources/test.properties"); properties.load(url.openStream()); But when executing the second line I get a NPE. (null pointer exception) I'm not sure what's wrong here... I have checked that the file exists at the location where URL points to... Any help is appreciated....

    Hi all, Currently, i have a class MyAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin), and i have a field in there called name, which belongs to both list_editable and list_display. The current behavior is such that all fields that is in list_editable displays a form field. However, i would like to change that only when people click on the field would it turn into a editable form field. My point is, that I don't want webserver (Apache) to be running after OS start, because it's useless load for my laptop. I usually want webserver use when I start Eclipse, so I think there could be an option, when can I do that to save my OS load and my time. How can I set this?
