    Hi, I have a string like this String str = "la$le\$li$lo". I want to split it to get the following output "la","le\$li","lo". The \$ is a $ escaped so it should be left in the output. But when I do str.split("[^\\\\]\\$") y get "l","le\$l","lo". From what I get my regex is matching a$ and i$ and removing then. Any idea of how to get my characters back? Thanks

For example: if I supplied the .split() method with 1px it'd return ["1px",1,"px"]. If I were to supply, similarly, 10% it'd return ["10%",10,"%"]. Can this be done? I appreciate all your help!

    Hi All, I am learning indesign, I have a doubt in story splitting... I want to split the story if the same story is used in two different text frames, I am extracting idml file and getting the needed data. My question is, I have a single story which is used by two text frames (Threaded text), and these two textframes are available in two different spreads. Story.xml contains full story, half of the story is displayed in 1st textframe, next half is displayed in 2nd textframe and the same story ID is referred in both the textframes. Now I want to split this story into two, so I want to know that how much content of the story is added in 1st and 2nd textframe, I think if I find that how many characters or words or lines present in each textframe then it will easy to split the story. We can determine the word and character count using the following steps in indesign CS4 Place the insertion point in a text frame to view counts for the entire thread of frames (the story), or select text to view counts only for the selected text. Choose Window Info to display the Info panel. Is there any property or attribute in idml (xml files like prefrence.xml or story.xml or spread.xml) to find out the number of characters/words/lines of single textframe.   • C# string.Split() Matching Both Slashes?

    I've got a .NET 3.5 web application written in C# doing some URL rewriting that includes a file path, and I'm running into a problem. When I call string.Split('/') it matches both '/' and '\' characters. Is that... supposed to happen? I assumed that it would notice that the ASCII values were different and skip it, but it appears that I'm wrong. // url = 'someserver.com/user/token/files\subdir\file.jpg string[] buffer = url.Split('/'); The above code gives a string[] with 6 elements in it... which seems counter intuitive. Is there a way to force Split() to match ONLY the forward slash? Right now I'm lucky, since the offending slashes are at the end of the URL, I can just concatenate the rest of the elements in the string[], but it's a lot of work for what we're doing, and not a great solution to the underlying problem. Anyone run into this before? Have a simple answer? I appreciate it!

    I am splitting the following string using \\| in java (android) using the IntelliJ 12 IDE. Everything is fine except the last part, somehow the split picks them up in the opposite order : As you can see the real positioning 34,35,36 is correct and according to the string, but when it gets picked out into split part no 5 its in the wrong order, 36,35,34 ... Any way I can get them to be in the right order?     Hi, I'm making a system where a user clicks a button and their score increases. There is a counter which I would like to increase the value of using jQuery (so that the page does not need to refresh) when the button is clicked. In php, ++ increases something's value. What's the jQuery equivalent? I use the following code jquery('<button/>', {type:'button'}).text(name) However this works in Safari , FF IE8 but not IE7 i tried to use the attr function : jquery('<button/>').attr('type','button').text(name) this does not work either. any ideas what would work? I suppose if I don't assign a type it would default to button but i rather do that thanks for your help

I have tried to do xinput set-button-map 11 1 4 2 and so on, but as the --test shows that button 1 is being depressed, then probably the issue is at a lower level than with X11's perception of what mouse buttons I'm pressing (or assigning button-map 11 1 2 3 and clicking the right button in firefox, wouldn't trigger the middle-click on the link)

    I hope someone can help me out with this; I use a laptop and I like to play games a lot that are arrow key dependent. So after a while of using my laptop, I accidentally broke the Down Arrow key. So I decided to try and find out how to make the Numpad5 button work as the Numpad Down button while Numlock is on. I was trying to use AutoHotkey, but so far I've had no luck. Can anyone help me out with this? So far the scripts I used that didn't work were Numpad5::NumpadDown or Numpad5::Down. Am I doing something wrong here?
