  Hello, I am using the code below to start a executable file from a windows service and I need to pass html code (stored in a variable) as an argument. I am escaping with double quotes but this is not working. What do I need to do in order to pass this correctly? Thanks in advance for any guidance that is offered. • jQuery change selected option's background on change of selected item

  I have a routine that dynamically changes a select list's "selected" option when the corresponding image from a carousel widget is clicked (it's a wordpress template selector). I'd just like to add a flash of background color, then fade to white, to give the user a visual cue that they've just changed the value of the template chooser select list. I've attempted at it below to assign the className "mySelectedOption" to the selected option, but its not working.   I'm starting learning Lisp with Java background. In SICP's exercise there is many tasks where students should create abstract functions with many parameters, like (define (filtered-accumulate combiner null-value term a next b filter)...) in exercise 3.11. In Java (language with safe, static typing discipline) - method with more than 4 arguments usually smells, but in Lisp/Scheme it doesnt, does it? I'm wandering how many arguments do you use in you functions? If you use it in production, do you make such many layers?

• Implementing full text search on iPhone?

  I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to implement a full-text search on some static data on the iPhone. Basically I have an app that contains the offline version of a web site, about 50MB of text, and I'd like for users to be able to search for terms. I figure that I should somehow build an table of ("word", reference_to_file_containing_word) or something, put that into either Core Data or just sqlite, index the "word" column, then have the search facility search the table for search terms and take the intersection of the sets of results for the terms or something. That wouldn't allow people to search for phrases but it would be pretty easy and probably not too slow. I'd like to just use existing SDK features for this. Should I use Core Data or sqlite? Does anyone have any other ideas on how this could be done?

• Printing an array in a method, from a different class?

  Hello All, I'm a fairly inexperienced programmer, and i'm currently working on a Console Application project. It's basically a little 'mathematics game'; the application generates two random numbers, that have either been added, subtracted, multiplied or divided against each other randomly. The answer is shown on screen and the user has to pick from the menu which is the right mathematical operator, once the correct answer is picked the application then displays on screen how long it took for the user in milliseconds to input the correct answer. Now I want to save the times of the players in an array that can be called up later with all the scores. I need to include a method in this programme and I figured a method to save the times into an array would be suitable. I seem to have stumbled across a little problem though. • How do I setup a Master Page with ASP.net?

  Hi there, I'm normally a ColdFusion developer, but I'm having to work on a new site using some ASP.net hosting only, so forgive me if my questions seem very trivial. For numerous reasons, the website will be relatively static in the sense that it will mainly be using includes etc...that's about as complex as it will get with this. Now, I heard about the ability to set a master in ASP.net. Would anyone please be able to explain to me in a step process on how to do this? I have of course been searching for some time now on this topic but most results yield little help or no help at all since the search terms are slightly ambiguous. They array is not large (below 200 elements) and will be prepared once for a large number of searches. Array elements after the n-th can if necessary be initialized to something appropriate, if that speeds up the search. No, binary search is not allowed, only linear search.

So far I manage to send them to the server correctly but the xml is static. I am looking for a way to insert dynamic/random values into the XML and then send it to the server. "empty" : output); return 1; } } I am deliberately calling svnlook help and forcing an error so I can see what is going on when committing. When this program run, SVN displays svnlook exited with error 0xC0000135. Current output is: empty I looked up the error 0xC0000135 and it mean App failed to initialize properly although it wasn't specific to svnhook. Why is svnlook help not returning anything? Does it fail when executed through another process?
